    Hello guys, I might be looking at this Golf 3 TDI tomorrow:http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=v4yyjwlckogi What do you think about the offer? So from the look, I would guess: 600€ for him to come to the TÜV, then 100€ for small things and then I would have him raise it (what will that cost?). Then the car would be at about 2000-2300€.   • NWS switched, engine is no longer igniting…

    Hello! I had to change the engine of his Omega Caravan for a friend. (X20XEV, Bj 10/95). After the complete installation the engine ran, but the MKL lit up and the engine ran in the emergency program. Now I have read out the error memory, there was the KWS as a cause in it. I changed it for a new part and also the exchange for the part of the old motor did not bring any improvement. Since in the error memory there was no speed signal I have safe First for the old part, then for a new original from Siemens. Now I wanted to start, the starter also turns busy, but it doesn’t seem to ignite at all. It can hardly be that the new part is now also defective. Do you have to learn the new NWS? What else could be the reason that the engine only runs in the emergency program? Must write that I had to change the harness from the KWS to install the KWS from the old engine. The plugs did not fit. together. Ignition module, idle control, throttle valve unit, AGR, NWS and KWS have been exchanged… What’s left? Am really desperate… Many greetings from Steini

  • No Tüv due to wrong load index

    Hello together, has someone already made experiences with the tüv because of wrong load index of the matures? I was yesterday with my opel omega 2,5 dti for take-off. I have raised winter tyres with the dimensions 195/65/R15 91T. now the tüv says, no can at all, it must be 195/65/R15 92T. Therefore I did not receive a Tüvplaquet. I checked my documents, but found no hint about it. I can read here that the index 91T/92T is a difference of 15 kg. is e s correct that I did not get a badge, or was the examiner not good at it? Otherwise no faults!!!!! Where can I inquire, I bought the matures last winter, but was not asked for the load index….. would be very grateful for a quick answer, as I should drive tomorrow with the summer tyres to tuv. have a short-term license mark, because the car is not yet admitted.   • Omega A ; 2.6 i ; Visco coupling

    After 4 years I wanted a new visco coupler for the radiator fan. According to the sales company Günther in Kornwestheim, there are no visco couplings, which were manufactured by Behr/Hella, more. Visco couplings are still used mass, among others also at BMW. Does anyone know a suitable spare part number, which can be used instead of GM 90 220 339 or Behr 65.311.00.000 ??     Hello Opelfans I know in the SUFU are countless posts concerning the timing belt. I have already read myself a lot, but I still have a question for which I have found no answer. I would like to change the timing belt myself, since I have read very good instructions in the SUFU too. My question concerns the tensioning of the belt.If the strap is tense the arrow of the tensioning roller must stand on the NEW marking.Now I have with a buddy in the Etzold Is that now that I have to span the new ZR after some time??How the rest is done is clear to me, only that with the back tensioning has made me a bit stubborn.   • temperature shoots high

    Hello I just have to write from the mobile phone, I started earlier when I saw after 4km city drive that the temperature control light lights red. Temp was in the red area. Engine at the traffic light immediately turned off, drove briefly again on and at nen parking lot. Thought the wp is broken but cooling water was normal much available, oil too. I left out the engine a little before I continued driving. After that the temp stopped at almost 90 degrees although the car could hardly be warm. J after 60km drive the temp in the city goes to over 90 degrees. Normal lay the otherwise at about 85. on the highway it lay at about 80 degrees at 140kmh. Someone an idea what is going on there? At home will put the diagnostic plug on it. Confused greetings

  • ZV passenger side + jerking…

    Hi guys, I still have a few little problems with my Omega. (Caravan 2.2 Facelift) One problem is that since today my central locking on the passenger side doesn’t want any more – I know from a buddy who has the same problem. Only sporadically and no longer at all. The button can be pulled up and down by hand – just as it should be. The button also moves quite easily in the direction it should when I close by ZV. But n What do you mean? Cable breakage, confused engine? Simply WD40 on the pole incl. engine? And the other problem is the occasional swallowing or very short jerking. Therefore, probably also during the ride the engine control often attacks. But not when the error occurs but rather sporadic. When driving on the highway or long driving on the road, the error does not occur, only in the case of the city. I have already switched to the LMM against a new one from the BOSCH service – did not bring any improvement. Suction routes are clean – nothing wasted. Air filter is also new. Spark plugs have also been changed, oil also… throttle valve I have already cleaned with WD40. I get the following error codes spat out: 0170 – Exhaust gas/magner 0140 O2 Sensor 2 Heating Voltage high O2 Sensor 2 Heating Voltage high O2 Sensor 2 Heating Circuit open P1550 throttle valve controller reduced Leis C-30 P1550 throttle dampers forced idle C-30 P1550 throttle dampers power management C-30 P1550 throttle dampers motor stop Weis someone where I can still search for the error? Do not want to replace any more unnecessary parts which are actually intact. My suspicion now lies somewhere with the throttle dampers or the throttle dampers since it only occurs in the city at Stop&Go. Ruckles usually in the first 1-2 gears and in the higher very rarely to at all. Thank you so much!

    Hello together, as described in the title my Omega is running 2 – 3 months round in cold condition. Try to write down everything in turn: 1. After starting the engine runs perfectly (as long as you don’t give gas!) 2. Immediately after driving off (and you give gas slightly), the engine runs only on 3 cylinders. As soon as the speed (30, 50 or 70, that doesn’t matter) is reached and you give only so much gas to keep the speed, is the unround motorla 3. But as soon as you have to give more gas, it’s back again, with one restriction: it doesn’t jerk at all over 2500 rpm! 4. After the car has reached the full operating temperature, it’s completely gone. 5. Yesterday, when the operating temperature is reached, the idle speed fluctuates between 1000 and 2500 rpm. Depending on how long the “red phase” lasts, it calms down after a short time, or it goes out. The engine control light is off and it won’t be a mistake. I have already renewed the following parts: spark plugs and ignition cable (from NGK) valve cover seal (candles stood up to the edge in the OIL) crankshaft sensor (last week, it no longer jumped on and has also shown the error) air filter insert camshaft sensor (about 1 year ago) Greeting Bernd
