hi, I’ve been looking for new brake discs and shock absorbers (front and rear axles) for a long time now I’d like to get the parts and install them in the following weeks. to the brakes: I don’t need anything special, they’re not supposed to be too expensive. I found this one here: click I can install them without hesitation, or is it advisable? I think the price is ok. for the HA I found the suitable ATE discs on the other side also for 90,-. to the shock absorbers: here it also has to be nothing special. I think the curb absorbers are quite ok. have I found this one here: click 1 and click 2 I made a good choice, or do you recommend to me something else in this price class? many thanks already gruß donsilakis

V Max Senator 24v
Moin Moin! I have now heard from two different Senator drivers that their vehicles are running more than 270 according to Tache. It was even claimed that this would be with 3 people and full suitcases and still is not the end of the acceleration. Well, since I can’t believe that now, I would be interested in your opinion. According to Opel, the AT 24V 235km/h runs. Can it be that the speedometer is so inaccurate? The vehicles were respectively 3.0 24V engines with automatic transmission and standard tyres. Also on the engine nothing should have been done, just all original Opel 🙂 Greeting, Muckl!

The hard life of an Omega B
The hard life of an Omega B Hello, I want to tell you something about the suffering story of my beloved Omegas. I think that hardly any Omega has so much life :-)… everything started 99, so my father bought it and pressed it half a year later at a highway exit! Front and back pushed together. Economic total damage 17000DM estimate! He was fortunately not to blame and the insurance paid. I thought, is a pity about the Omega and equipped it for 2000DM with the most necessary new parts. with some welding spat and paint he looked again like new 🙂 Have still had an axle measurement made to go on the safe way, all i.o.! Luckily he had a hanger clutch that took a lot away from the impact… One misfortune rarely comes alone and so I only helped the good 2002 to make a new total damage again! about 4500euro see picture accident.jpg Now the crafting started from the front only this time no money from the insurance. I didn’t want to spend on it all.

Water loss Omega A 2,0
Hello! I need advice from a few experts… I have a terrifying water loss with my omi. First I noticed when I was standing in front of a traffic light and the temp. shot up. At home then guck, and see… no more water in it. I unfortunately did not have a compensation tank. I filled up about 2.5l water (with frost protection). What repeated after about 500km. What should I do now? I can’t find a place where the water remains. So I go out of it that it burns, which then deuted to ZKD. *heul* He has only 124tsd down, was always driven with Mobil 1 0W40 with regular inspections. And I never kicked him in the cold condition. My FOH said I should expect about 600€ at ZKD. What can I do now to check myself to be sure that I don’t spend a lot of money for free? MfG Daniel

Can I go to the shop again and complain why the hand brake in the back net really funges ?? And should they say that again on Kullanz correct adjust ?? Greeting Omega-tor

which navigator ???
hello together….. short question to the experts who are familiar with the original opel omega b Navi Fvl. with which navicomputer from Carin is this display operated???? the search has…..naja you already know nothing. I could get this display with the cable salad very cheaply, only the computer and the button for it is missing. whereby the procurement of the button will certainly still be fun wreden.beim auction house are sold quite a few computers. however, all have a different number somehow, but all look the same. as for example 520 or 522 I think 059 was also still. some of them were in connection with a seperate color display. I know that this system nowadays is not exactly the carrier, but the history with the cid installation is then too expensive for me. with a more up-to-date software is enough for me this original completely. maybe someone could tell me what number this computer has to have. or does it even matter and it only comes to the cable?

Ignition cable- Can that be?
Hello, since the ignition cable of my Omega unfortunately gave up the spirit during my holiday, it had to be quickly renewed at an Opel dealer. Since no original part was available, he installed a cable from the second equipment manufacturer (it had to go quickly). I arrived at home today, because I still have to make the valve cover seal, and he said that he wants to change all (!) 6 cables again, because he does not know whether the control unit can cope with the replaced cable of the second equipment manufacturer. Should it cost 350 euros. I first refused to get advice here. Can this really be that a FOH replaces a ignition cable and chooses a wrong one, which hurts the car? Somehow, I can not quite imagine that just because of the warranty. What do you think about it? Or does my FOH just want to make a little money quickly and tell me that this has to be changed?

Audio systems Installation Omega-B Facelift….
Greetings!I have an Omega-B Facelift Bj:12.02 and the following problem: I am talking about the audio/climate-tronic unit in the center console, most of you probably know what it looks like…. now I want to install my radio, but have no idea if there is an aperture of Opel/reconstruction with which you can install your own radio!?!?(possibly sharer would be supi) and how does it look with the wiring under the amature board? you have some space or is there like with most “new” cars all paved up, or where would be a good place to come with the + cable into the inside room!? would be best if someone has already done this already, and vlt. has made a report online! ps: have done so many times, just don’t stop with such a car 🙁

again problem with 2,5td
So it was a good time again. I had to go back to 4 weeks ago a bj. 95 omega b 2,5 td caravan. After some tips of you he drove well again. now I drove at the end of the week into the resin with caravan. mount up mountains down. for a while everything went well, then the temperature went up to the red, right, motor out and look. then found a safety box at the front left in the engine room, and see there 3 fuses a 30a were through. as I then saw after new installation, it was the ones for the three fans. then there was another one broken in there, a 15a. did not know what the change is, also does not come out of the manual. everything was good again. klima ran and he didn’t pull the caravan up and down today. now to the first question: the temperature went up sometimes to 100 degrees and then down again to 90, is that normal????? warm? was driving again, it didn’t seem like that again in the morning, but then it went back again.

Omega B vs. Dacia Logan
Hello together, yes, apples are compared with pears, but I thought about buying a Dacia Logan and selling my Omi (my Opel heart is bleeding and I can’t believe what I’m writing there). But if I think what my Omi “frisst” and so far has cost me of repairs… Repairs + taxes + insurance in the last 3.5 years: 500€ fuel in the same time: 500€ –> That’s a lot, though: 238.00€ / month overall, well, that’s actually going again. But my Omi doesn’t get younger and the timing belt is coming up soon, moreover, the coupling bars are over and I think the screeching is “suspicious” –> Consumption: ALWAYS 11,5l / 100 km, no matter how I drive (!!!). On the other hand: I love my Omi! But with the Dacia I would have a new car. But that’s not as certain as my Omega. But it only needs 6 l diesel / 100 km. I would save 900€ maintenance in the year. I’m going to take my Buckia.
