hello, bin Winne from Berlin and new here. I recently stumbled over an omi with gas system, price was ok, so bought. That started my problems. as the first head seal def, had hoped it was the cooler, no really the ZKD. (the seller also awoke) So let’s get started and head down (I learned this once 20 years ago, but something from the practice). Again and again amazing how manufacturers could build cars. I also rechashiert here before, Kurt from berlin is here really the hero, has helped a lot his answers. Somehow, however, someone else must have tinkered about it (if he is also here, many thanks) hoses loose, screws screwed in where they certainly don’t belong, etc. The head seal is somehow broken apart, funny. AGR probably stuck off, looks funny. My questions would be first of all: Why does someone screw a screw in the vacuum container, makes sense? AGR lack some connections, where do they come in? Head seal, ori ginal or accessories? Head is down, something is going to change, except now tarpaulins, valve shaft seals etc, that’s clear. I think I’m going to bother you more with questions soon mfg

Temperature Problem ASSISTANCE
Hello, I am in despair. I have been sitting for 3 weeks with an extreme temperature problem. It started with the fact that I got a temperature of 105° in urban traffic at once. Red temperature lamp included! Fans ran. So first read at motor talk. Then one week ago both temperature encoders changed for the fans. Also thermostat. Then after the test drive everything ok. First fan level 95° , the second at 100°. Then this morning to work. Then this evening on the trip to HAuse the problem of 3 weeks ago. Sudden jump to 105° and both fan levels on. But slow down to 97.5°. But this happened with normal driving operation at speed 110. No city traffic!! I don’t know any more, but can exclude the following things: -Water pump changed in December -ZKD is Ok -not too much frost protection inside -Temperaturgeber ( both ) new -Thermostat ne u Has anyone ever had such a problem and turned it off?????? I am grateful for every advice.

Smoke from the exhaust
Hello people, there I am again.Today with no other problem. Was on the trip to work, when I suddenly saw a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. everything was foggy. had to stop directly, because my behindmen could NOT see more…. I have to say that my omega dti 2.5l has already given some time a whistle/sum when giving gas and lost power. he only pulled when he liked and when I had passed the gaspetal. but like in the I haven’t had time yet to get to the bottom of the problem. the engine starts well and doesn’t make any abnormal noises. now my question, could it be the turbocharger? if yes, should I buy a new one or have it overtaken? Who has already had experiences with it? now I have forced time to repair it. your pobelfreak

LWR sensor for Omega B xenon light
Hello on my Omega BJ 2000 X20Xev the LWR sensor on the front axle is broken and I asked the FOH for replacement.Did then, however, get said that the sensor would not be available as a single spare part since it would no longer be manufactured. However, Opel would have provided a replacement for it but only in a whole set there is price for it 230 €. Ok I thought this is violent but it helps nothing and I ordered the part. Now yesterday came the part al lerdings is this a completely different sensor so at least from the plug completely different . In the set is indeed also a new plug which has also like the old plug 3 cable but Opel can give me no circuit diagram according to the statement of the FOH there would be none of Opel for it Now I am not so sure if I should take the part because you are not right to return the part because it is an electric component. I wanted to ask if any of you there w eis or already had the same problem and what you did there would be very grateful for your tips thanks for your answers already

2.2Liter (Facelift) – “chain reaction” means installation of an oil separator?
Hello, excuse me if I have to “get out” something so that the situation becomes clear. A few months ago the air mass meter was broken after 250tkm. Could just roll to the FOH and for about 250 euros a new one was in it (did not see that it would have been cheaper with the help of the bay). Then came the hint that in the vehicle the retrofit kit recommended by Opel for crankshaft ventilation was missing. Another 150 euros invested and the oil separator was installed (see pictures, THX at bernDragon). Well, a few tkm later, so much oil is pressed through the valve cover seal that I had it replaced. According to the workshop, the candles were under oil (condition with the old seal). Car picked up yesterday – short way home – all clear. This morning, after about 10 km of motorway drive, I had to drive right, because the whole engine “shakes”. Feeled like it was running only on three cylinders. I decided, I am almost convinced that the oil separator represents too great a resistance to ventilation and thus builds up too high a pressure in the valve lid, which causes the leaks.Bin tends to remove the oil separator again. Can someone take a stand on my “hypotheses”? How would you decide? Oil separator out? After all, the car is also without the yellow angels. he drove 250tkm. Greetings from NRW tommi2000

Daylight allowed…
Evening dear community. I was at the Tüv on Thursday and the Tüver told me the following: Since Wednesday 02.05.2012 it is officially allowed to have the daytime driving with full brightness even when the dipped light is switched on. That means, even at night, when you have the light on, the daytime driving light can light up with. It doesn’t have to be dimmed any more… After paragraph I did not ask him… I think it would blind at night… (but mine stays on and off standing light) old only with passing beam from…) LG Michel

New radio in the facelift (again)
Hi ho, after my CD radio in the Omega has been going out again and again for some time and no sound of itself gave me last week I bought a new radio because it was just enough for me to live with it all the time that it can go out again at any time. After the nice audio friend had pulled the old radio out of me came the first shock…lumps without end! Well great, once again had “happiness” and a previous owner caught that was only murksen. Anyway, I thought, wheel io turn and go -> Radio shows “Protect” So somewhere a short or something like that, in the operating instructions it is written that the wiring should be checked (I just didn’t have the exact wording at hand). So I put up radio again and knicked around and bent because I thought there must be a bugger in it, I also pulled all the chandelier clamps again. So radio in and it goes in, juhu…until the next occasion…there comes Protect again. I then today times during the ride the radio in and removed (have already done the exercise) and I noticed that it works if you release the plug on the radio for a short time. But that confuses me, either it should stay with the Protect or at least work smoothly afterwards?!?! Can it be that with the luscious clamps as swapped? But all cables look suitable, but will check it again more closely. If someone has a tip I would be very grateful as always!!! Many greetings

Omega B does not start
Hello, I’m new Here at Motor-Talk and I have a big problem with my Omega B Caravan (x20xev BJ/1995). Because he doesn’t start any more A week ago he didn’t start, we decided on FC 19. Then the KWS was changed (Original Siemens). He still didn’t start, now FC 92 was set, the NWS (also Original Siemens) we exchanged the day before yesterday. All without success! Error codes are no longer stored and are not set anymore. Yesterday h We replace the DIS, ignition cable and the BPR, but did not do anything. When ignition “one” (BPR switches) petrol pump starts briefly, when you try to start the MKL turns out of starter but normal. Fuel is injected, candles are wet. Why does the MKL go out when I start, normally the MKL would not have to run until the engine runs out!? Would be great if someone could help me further.

Wheel change
Omega A tires on Omega B? In 3 days I wanted to buy a 99 OmegaB 2.0 100kw, which has no summer tires. Can I mount my 195 from the A Omega? Don’t really look at the approvals. So I can screw the wheels around, acuh if it’s not explicitly in the approval?
