Hello, with my Omega A 2.0i with LPG the idle control is complete because the speed varies greatly when it is connected. To this end the MKL lights up and the readout only indicates that the idle control is just finished. For me as a layman the thing is a real thriller because I just can’t explain a few things: If the controller is always closed the car must react similarly in similar situations – but it doesn’t: Usually the car only works at the beginning If you walk off the gas, sometimes but also if I let it roll down a mountain in the middle of the highway in a warm state without a gear (which I avoid from now on). If I drive with super gasoline the car goes out without gear and gas even if it has reached almost normal operating temperature, however, if I drive with LPG or Superplus this happens only the first meters. If the speed is low (about 300 revolutions) and the car slips in the stand and I get a little gas g ebe often goes out – according to my logic the opposite must happen. (If I give more gas the engine stays on). Is the story also mysterioes for you or is it just my lack of expertise? How can I fix the problem with the idle controller? Greetings and thanks for any help Desperado

2.5 dti Engine damage -cause?
Hello first of all. I read in for interest from time to time, but I have registered now, because I have a “larger” problem. Before I am referred to other threads – the flaps are all still there and supposedly also in perfect condition. It is an Omega 2.5 DTI caravan with manual circuit and approx. 130,000km (Y25DTH – the one from BMW) actually started everything with a routine inspection. In this case oil was determined on the wagon bottom. The Opel dealer has a e made engine wash to determine where the oil comes from. Strangely enough, the omega afterwards had incredibly little power – as if the turbo was missing. 2 weeks later back at the dealer he found that the oil comes from the turbo, it has a hair crack and the leaking oil also broke the engine damper. The missing power of the engine after the inspection was allegedly a hose blown off by the engine wash to the turbo… As far as good. After the replacement the turbo and the engine damper ran again everything – also the 1400km to skiing and back. After approx. 10km on the highway one hears first with acceleration a kind of Surren (engine was still cold). Also the typical cold startDieselRumpeln does not go away, as if the engine did not run on all cylinders. At once also still power is missing and when acceleration comes dark smoke from the rear exhaust. Stop is not, the highway has no standing track in this section. So h I am still about 1.5km with 80km/h to the next exit. There I called directly to a parking lot and ADAC. Now I have the diagnosis from my workshop. Engine can no longer be turned off. 6. Cylinder has run full of oil and the charging air cooler is also full of oil. The reason is unknown- he taps on a torn pleul. (at 130,000km???) He wants to change in addition to the engine also the injection pump and the turbo. (The turbo even on guarantee). Somehow I have Unfortunately the feeling that this workshop does not work very carefully and also has no plan to damage (probably carefully – winter tires were mounted with clearly different tyre pressures, hose to turbo in engine wash off). Perhaps someone can give me a tip here (except to change the dealer).

Coolers Ojdööööööööööö and ADAC Ohjeeeee
So now my omi got caught too… Yesterday morning at 5 o’clock went on the highway during snowfall and it was freezing cold in the BC “cooling medium” stand. I was very surprised and thought that again a sensor went crazy and some messages spread… The temp. indicator was ok. But then after about 6km came a parking lot. I got out, bonnet and looked what my water tank says. That was empty and down left on the cooler it dripped cheerfully. Ok, ADAC must come here. about half an hour and brought the omi and my trailer to the next place. There then the towing service made around with the ADAC, because they did not think it necessary to bring me and my team home. I should have my car repaired in the place because the working hours would take up max. 2 days. I didn’t understand the world anymore. 170km I was away from home and now I was standing there… My wife then took me 4 hours later with my attachment Now my question: Can I make any claims to the ADAC, because they had no expenses because of me because of my “self-action”, except the towing service, which brought me from the highway 8km to his point of view.

Omega B Facelift 2003 stronger springs VA possible?
Hello guys, I have a facelift gasoline Omega B Caravan 2.2 Editon, engine Z22XE. A few years ago, when there was no winter and it was nice and warm, I had a JMS front spoiler installed, which was a lot more often avenging, especially this winter. The Omega is quite soft at the front and dips quite deep when braking. Was beginning like this. Unfortunately, I have no idea what kind of shock absorbers and springs are installed on the front axle. Someone knows, o b there are stronger springs and/or shock absorbers for mine? The car should NOT be lowered. Have already enough problems. Thank you in advance.

Shock absorber with level
Hi comrades of the lightning!! Have a problem there. When I start my Pampersbomber I hear as the compressor approaches and pumps. The thing is only the back something hissing and the dampers don’t move. Do you have any idea what that could be.??? Have searched for everything but found no leaks. And one more. Have read when I change the dampers behind that I should pump them up to 0.8 bar!!! HOW?? and WOMIT?? Greetings

Grinding noise under the timing belt cover
Hi together. So far I was only a handy reader in this forum, but now I have got a problem with which I need some professional advice. My wife has found today a strange creek at our Omega B Caravan year 2000 2.2-16V 125000 KM. When opening the bonnet I was able to locate the noise closer , it comes from the timing belt cover . It is a grinding noise , which occurs about in a second time and with increase of the engine rotation fence . l just intensified. The timing belt with wapu. and tensioning roller were changed in January of this year ( mileage since 18000 KM) With my noise I then drove to the FOH and asked him for an interim diaknosis, and for an assessment whether I can still drive with the vehicle. The statement, with that can be anything possible ( tensioning roller, water pump, belt cover) I can still let myself, because he has not disassembled the vehicle. But with the statement I can still use the vehicle without hesitation , until workshop appointment in the new year is something to me. As I have read here in the forum many times the timing belt is probably a weak point with this vehicle . Therefore my Fagen I can really use the vehicle without hesitation. I still have warranty spell from the timing belt change from January of this year , if it should be one of these components . Gruss

Door lock
After the driver’s door no longer opens and closes by remote control, I can no longer open it with the key. What possibilities do I have now to get the driver’s door open again. In two workshops they gave me the tip to remove the interior paneling. (great!!!!!) You don’t get to the screws or anywhere else to solve the paneling. If someone has already had this problem and there is a reasonable reason for it. e Solution for this? Thanks in advance for your tips
