    Hello, search for me an Omega with the 3.0 machine. Need the car mainly because of the trunk because of my dog, but also wants to be fast on the road!   • OMEGA A What must mab consider?

    Hello am from another forum, but would have asked a few questions about the Opel OMEGA A 2,0i 116PS . What do you have to consider with this one? If you buy it if you buy it. Where does it rust most, are the spare parts cheap? Is the 2liter a worry child? How much km does the machine do? Teeth belt or chain? When to change? Fuel belly? Please just tell me a few things about the Omega A 2,0i Would have a few caravans to choose from. Are all 1992 year.

  • 99 Granny scrapping/exporting or repairing?

    We have in our family a 99er 2.5td with almost 300tkm. Color Starsilver,Xenon Bose Sound etc, almost full equipment except for leather and automatic. The probs are: all four doors are completely rusted above the windows, fenders should also be treated, brakes should be new at the front, diesel pump licked, now recently parking damage (lantern stood in the way) bumper in the back and boot flap embedded(Could finish paintrs again). What do you think? About a wahsninn’s residual value we don’t need to talk about. Fix the car again completely? Extermination? I kind of hang on to the box, but it’s not mine.

  • Help for a ’95

    Hello, I’m new here and I’ve tried it before. Probably the topic MKL has already run ten times. Nevertheless, I would like to hear your opinion. I ripped an Omega out of the scrap metal a few days ago, because I thought it was too bad for the scrapping premium. It’s a 2,0/15hp CD Built 04/95 engine is probably an X20SE. He has 104 Tkm on the clock, and the retiree who drove it was rather nice to him. ;-)) You can’t scrap something like that. ;-)) So I did it. But now the MKL is blinking, and the local FOH thinks that he can’t help, because his PC doesn’t find a mistake. But it’s the case that the engine doesn’t take any gas under 2000 rpm, and only runs again at 3000 rpm. However, the idle is quiet at about 700 rpm. But the fuel consumption is really too high at 16l/100 km. So what can I do? Lima was new. Would I be happy if I got help there, because I don’t give it to the scraphead any more.   • Problem Starting when vehicle is cold (V6)

    Hello Leuts, I have a phenomenon since the conversion to LPG that “does not let go” me forward, the problem exists in petrol and gas operation… – so don’t push on the LPG system. During the conversion, the suction bridge was removed and re-assembled (according to the retrofitter he had problems with the assembly) What’s the problem? The vehicle starts cold perfectly. If I want to accelerate after about 150 m then it feels as if no fuel is injected or d the car tries to drive with “air”. So I go on the gas and nothing happens for about 5 seconds or “very little”. The engine sounds hard, however. After that the car drives perfectly again. So the error occurs only shortly after the first start. I suspect now that the suction bridge was not installed correctly or at other places somehow air gets into the system. Oh yes, MKL or so does not shine and error memory gives nothing. Do you have an idea?

  • Cargo compartment cover unmaintained

    Hello, since yesterday my friend was shopping with the omi, the cargo space cover no longer remains closed… the last segment with the grip hole, which otherwise “attached”, has no hold anymore. According to my wife, the cover somehow hooked when “want to open”, it then pressed against resistance firm against it until something undetectable flew away into the snow (such kind of feathers ?), and since then the whole guideless Hab times just got rough on it ut, nothing recognisable, except that this “clamping”, so this resistance is no longer present when pushing, but did not “fabricate” anything apart, so I am (still) clueless what is going on now. Am I there now again such a special case, and this usually breaks down niiieeee, or does someone have a clue, and has a good tip what I have to do now ? Thank me in advance !

  • Is the conversion on LPG worth it

    Hello, since a switch to another more economical car doesn’t really work and I would also miss the “luxury” (I mean the driving feeling ^^) of the big one, I think, whether it makes sense to switch to LPG. My father thinks that it should not be worthwhile with my car, because 129000km are already a lot for a car. You can argue about it ^^ Well. At the moment I drive only to the 30km plus at the weekend again 200km. That’s just ~1500km a month. That would be a yes However, it can be (therefore also the consideration) that I will commute from Hamburg to Bremen from October for a year, which would be 200km daily. That would be a monthly output of about 4400km or to the year ~53000km (extra driving not included). Purely from the caclulation it would be worthwhile with the number of km already, after the year the money would be almost again. But what also gives me something to consider… 130000 are not so much… but I once read that automatic transmission does not last as long as manual clutch… what do you think? Greetings rags

  • Omega B V94 Caravan – 2.2 DTI – Engine problem

    Hello! I have a question and hope to get on with it. I have been having the following problem for quite some time: After cold start (with an annealing) the motor electric lamp comes after a few seconds, accompanied by a general flicker of the lighting. Once the lamp goes off vigorously, flickering starts after a few 100m. LiMa and AGR valve have already been renewed. Does anyone have any idea what else I can do? I thank in advance Greeting, Daniel

  • Curiosity ABS block/control unit from Corsa installed in Omega

    Hello, the following curiosity, to which I ask for your comment. At my Omega 3.0 Limo Facelift Bj. 2000 ABS does not work. The Tacho did not do it from the beginning, but I have now noticed that it is on the ABS block, I wanted to check which fire engine is installed and have found on the ABS block the following numbers: 0265 216 409. 90496978. However, according to my research this is a control unit, which is not installed in the Omega!!! But in the Corsa/Ticra. Question, please: Is this true? And is is it possible to install such a Corsa part in the Omega so that brake works without ABS? Question 2: ebay seller MV6doc writes that the ABS block with numbers 0273 004 206, 0265 220 427 fits all Omega 3.0 from year 1998. Is that true? mfg Günther
