  • Opel Omega B—– BJ:1998—– Pipes, who can help?

Hello together, maybe someone can help me. I have an Opel Omega Car. BJ1998, is a 2.0liter with 136 hp, automatic transmission. My problem is, I had the problem at that time that my car has always died in empty run. I discovered in this forum that the man should drill a hollow screw and that the Opel dealers have handled as well. I got the lead out here and did as it was there on the description. The car also ran great again, k a dying more and so. I only have the problem. Since I did this when I let the car in the cold condition I have a very bright whistle at the beginning for about 1 minute then it is gone. comes from the proximity of the hollow screw. I also put in 2 new copper rings. can be that they are not dense or belongs there a rubber seal or something also with it. I would be very happy to answer. With best thanks and kind regards Markus

  • Omega B Caravan MV6 heating only on the driver’s side, passenger footroom wet

Hello, people, drive an Omega B Caravan MV6. Now I have the following problem. The heating of the passenger side does not work and the footroom on the passenger side is wet. Car fogged animalically from the inside. The previous owner has said that the heat exchanger should be new. Can be difficult to understand now. Do you think it’s gone, or is it just something not really fixed or something like that? I have already found the instructions for the installation, but I’m not sure if it’s gone. Maybe one of you j a had the same problem and can tell me something about it. LG Sven

  • Question about LED daytime driving light & electric window lifter Rear switch is dead.

So if I’m already on the way in the forum then I also ask a few questions. 1. For some time now you can’t use the rear electric window lifter anymore. The switch seems to have no juice. Note that from the front they can only be turned on the rear switches in the doors do not react. The fuses are OK. It’s since I had to plug them off from the power cable at that time. 2. I would like LED daytime driving light bars with my thick nachrü Unfortunately I have no idea where I could install this on the front. Does one of you have a concrete example for me? Addendum. 3. I have recently cracked a nasty in the driver’s door. It’s not the door catcher. It especially occurs when I had the slide down and it’s back up again. Ws sounds like who the disc would sit so I would describe it. mfG Tino

  • Cooler frost protection exchange-what do I have to consider?

Hello, when I finally get my Omega B on Saturday, I wanted to do some work first: Change spark plugs (on Bosch Super 4) Change oil cooler frost protection (completely change) Here in the forum I found the blue coolant is the right one for my Omegea B. The other looks rather cloudy, no idea when it was changed the last time. As it looks like it’s not the blue one, but rather the red one. I should avoid mixing both colors. I know that. If the red should be in it, what do I have to consider if I want to switch to the blue one? Do I have to flush the system properly before, if yes, How?? Thank you…

  • The engine’s not running smoothly!

Hello friends, the topic “Twilights under oil” I created a week ago: I recently bought a used Omega B 2.0 16V. The engine has not been running clean recently. I thought these are the spark plugs and wanted to replace them… When I then screwed out the spark plugs, there was 2 out of 4 spark plugs on the thread and the “Zündkopf” oil. And quite a lot, the candles were almost covered with oil. Have renewed candles and cables, but the problem remained… It turned out that the valve cover seal was leaking. Then I also changed the seal. Now I have new spark plugs + new ignition cable + new valve cover seal, it is everything dry and as it should be, but the omi still does not run round. The problem exists both when driving with gas and with petrol. It was then recommended to me to visit Bosch Service but they want to pay pigs money only for the diagnostics. better proposal than Bosch Service? What else can I try?

  • Vibrating in the steering wheel

Hello, as I have written before, I bought a new old Omega. During the test drive I criticized that the steering wheel vibrated. The dealer then weighed the front wheels and said that it was good now. With the front wheels there would have been an imbalance. After the pick-up I noticed that it was by no means good. Still a vibrating between 110 and 140 km/h. Can it also lie on the rear wheels? They were not looked after. Does the rear axle make a vibration in the steering wheel noticeable? Or can it be something else? Tomorrow will be looked up anyway…

  • LED rear lights + trailer = no more brake light!

Hello, I wanted to pick up a Mondeo with a trailer today. After we had loaded, we looked again if all lights shine. We noticed then that neither on my thickness nor on the trailer the brake light funt We then tried forever and then found then when we separate the power connection from the trailer funts the brake light again on my thickness Since I wanted to go home, but had no brake light, then I got the breakdown service of my insurance a They then sent a mechanic over to look at the whole thing. The mech then groped around/measured and laid cables here and there and installed a new AHK box. When he didn’t know any more, he put a cable from the brake light and from the rear headlight to the AHK box. And like miracles, all lights lit 8o He then told me, because because of my LED rear lights there is not enough power left around the lights from the brake light to the Bre So I had to leave the trailer and get back to the house (out of anger and because it was already late with 200 things about the AB ) Now I have to install my old school Rülli ́s tomorrow morning and hope that it is possible now. If not, then I just drive without brake light Or could the error lie where else MfG Sven
