So people I was gard to HU/AU completely WITHOUT flaws the examiner has taken the whole cart out of vein trunk etc. pp why ? He was looking for rust… He found no Oton : quite rarely seen an A Omega that stands so well there. Engine problem
Hello In the beginning I thought it was just the battery as it only stood for 2 days! She stopped the stationary gas and went out creepy and no longer at it!At the starter help I saw then that it sparks in the engine room! When I “shaked“ a little bit on the cable it did not hit any sparks any more. Nevertheless the engine ran pretty rough!It got worse from day to day.It goes out constantly during the ride!Standgas does not work anymore!As soon as you walk off the gas or there is little gas it is over! Workshop I was told that it has something to do with the cyndination! So cynd cables, cynd candles or cynd coil!I don’t have a distributor.Do you have any idea what it can be most likely and what it costs?I mean only the parts! P.S A week before I had the exhaust welded first! The middle silencer (the one pipe) was completely separated + 4 big holes!I drove about 1 week with this damage!I hope it’s nothing to do with my current problem! has! Besides, my ABS doesn’t work at times!Sometimes the lamp doesn’t work and sometimes it’s too normal!Is the sensor broken or is it just a wackler?

ATM automatic and control unit omega b 2,5 V6
hi, after some stress with my FOH and its advice/debugging I got a used ATM and built in. so far I had installed a QB, so also a QB control unit. The purchased newer transmission is a DN and according to the seller also error-free. But after just with kickdown/full load the control unit brings an error (error switching process; yes, I would not have noticed that myself) I think that actually the QB control unit with the DN transmission (acc. to opel-inf os for the 2,6er with the fire device 8588, 4177) does not run clean. so I now search a 4177 or 8588 ECU. Unfortunately I do not reach the seller, he wanted to help me with this, so possibly get/sell a suitable control unit. Does someone of you happen to lie around and want to part with it? Am I wrong with my conjecture? After 3 A-Omis, the first B costs me already a lot of nerves. But even then I got almost everything under control. Thank you so much. best regards tussi4711

White stains on the oil cover!
Hello guys, I felt oil 3 weeks ago so 250 gram 10W40 because oil shortage indicator has annoyed animally although the sensor was exactly the half, then the indicator has disappeared, today on a highway ride the crap has lighted up again, wanted to feel at the rest place but couple white spots on the lid discovered that has me very worried, maybe one knows what that can be? It is about Omega B 96b.j. 2.5V6 automatic

Omega B not for sale?

high consumption, less power, funny engine brake -> AGR ??
Hello, since yesterday I noticed a com-like driving behaviour of my Omega. First of all much to me that the engine brake is different than usual. Normally the consumption goes down to 0 L when you go so at 2500 rpm from the gas, and it slows down strongly. –> now the consumption goes down only very slowly in 3 L steps or so, and then stays somewhere at 2 – 4 L while rolling. Besides, the speed goes quite strongly up when I go from the clutch to switch. (Motor howl r) This is only possible when the engine is relatively warm. I usually only had this at very cold temperatures, but this has also happened quickly after a few seconds of warm running. The idle speed is approx. at 1000 rpm when the engine is warm. Otherwise much lower… And the last one is, of course, the fuel consumption increased strongly. And I make myself to have a little less power. Can it be that the AGR valve is defective ??? I didn’t want to deprive you of the fact that I got Opel growth again. Was so far completely satisfied with my Winteromi. Never had great or expensive repertures and runs and runs and runs. But I got a great offer from a friend and finally couldn’t peel it out after some price reductions. That’s my youngest so far. My latest was/is my Vectra A 2000 from BJ 1991. So now I have also arrived in the new millennium and from I am proud (since today) owner of a Opel Vectra B 1.8 16V EZ 4.2001; 94tkm (Fliessheck) The car has a great equipment: Xenon, seat heating, all windows electric, climate control, cruise control, large BC.. Body is in a top condition but unfortunately there are a few problems. Since today I know what the FOH dares to take for reading from the error memory => 62,50€!!! Only for My climate obviously has a problem and shows in the display that a bug is stored. Sometimes it heats even though it is hot and sometimes it doesn’t heat even though it’s cold but sometimes it’s quite normal. But I only drove about 100km by car. Hello, every time I start the car, whether it’s a warm or cold engine, it only runs on three cylinders for the first few seconds….? The spark plugs just look great from the combustion image. Even the old spark plugs looked really good from the combustion image. yes, I know that there is already a lot in the search function and I have already read it. But, I can’t imagine it’s the head gasket. The signs just don’t speak for it that it can be nte. Have really no plan. My question is, I changed the spark plugs on Sunday and I noticed that the spark plug on the 4 cylinder is full in the oil level. Hi Leutz, I’ve changed the dampers in front and back before about 15 Tkm. Now I have to find out again and again that the Omega is still swimming, especially in curves or if you drive over something hilly you think you are going to go to the side instead of straight ahead! What can that be? Got next month TÜV and didn’t want to fail! Who has similar things to report and can help me. By the way, dampers are from Kayaba so OEM dampers. Help grateful! THX TheONE1279

New (old) Omega 2.5 V6, does anyone have experience?
Hello guys, yesterday my Omega 2.0 16v (258,000 km) finally said goodbye to me in terms of engine technology (fuel damage). After I had just invested 1000,- in a new head recently, I decided not to spend any more coal for the sweetheart, but to buy another Omega. Now I have a 2.5 V6 (156,000 km) in the narrow selection.
