Hello forum participants, I am looking for a reliable towing vehicle for my 2100 kg boat trailer. Better said Trailer 500 Kg + Boot 1600 Kg. Is there a series or series of Opel Omega that can pull this weight? If so, which and what is to be taken into account in the corresponding years of construction? Another note: I only need the car for trailering. I use it neither professionally nor for leisure trips. I have other vehicles for this purpose. So a towing vehicle is wanted, d as 2100 kg can pull and works well at about 1500 km per year. I am grateful for every tip and hint.

    1. Cylinder 17 Bar 2. Cylinder 11 Bar 3. Cylinder 13 Bar 4. Cylinder 16 Bar 5. Cylinder 16 Bar 6. Cylinder 13 Bar Well, what should I do, get repaired or ATM, if ATM is best to get one? Do you have an idea what it costs because the workshop wanted to contact me tomorrow. What could it be, since almost all cylinders are so far down. The workshop asked me if my almost 230tkm Original are what they are. Real shit

  • A praise from the Omega Community

So I really want to give you a commendation. here in this forum it is really friendly to. that sometimes who fights is always there. and in things tips & tricks you always have good things in stock and you can ask you what has not necessarily to do with the car. (e.g.: ebay) and even a successful meeting you organized what I also highly charge you. (unfortunately I was not there) all in all I would like to say the following: This is the conclusion I came to, since I have now driven around a while in the bmw forum. and there you can feel the mistrust and envy so strong. many don’t even believe that one has such a car bla bla. and if you need a tip you have to wait forever or it doesn’t come at all or you’re being fooled somehow. you hardly see such things here although the omega in the new to stand is also a quite expensive car. so a high of the FRIENDS CHAFTLY omega atmosphere. I hope that hasn’t been too narrow, but that was on my heart.

  • Spring-leg cartridge (suspension damper) clamps in spring-leg

Hello, I just want to change the front shock absorbers at my Commodore C. The parts clamp but really tight- up have the game- you can push the something back and forth- but they seem to clamp down. I have tried everything now- the only thing I could think of now to drill a 10mm hole in the lower lid of the spring leg, where I can then knock properly on the bottom of the shock absorber with a round steel. Logically, I have to be careful that I Do not drill the shock absorber cartridge. I can close the hole with a stopper. Or is there any other idea?

  • Omega B – Electric. Window lifter in the back, Limo and Caravan in the same way?

Moin colleagues, since my godchild (see below) is unfortunately no longer passing by Uncle TÜV in September, I bought a successor: Omega B Caravan 2.0 16V. But with the car the electric window lifter is in the back right in the bucket. The engine buzzes but the window remains closed. For this, noises appear like grinding gears. I suspect that just these are blown away. Now my question: Is the mechanics and the whole part of the soda and the caravan equal or I have to myself specially Looking for the Caravan mechanism? Greetings, Erik.

  • Radio installation … I’m too stupid :/

Guys, please don’t laugh, but I don’t get my “new” radio installed on it. Basically, I’m afraid that this huge plug block is always in my way. There should be enough space – at least a big void yawns at me but the last 5mm are only possible by pressing and squeezing and on such a thing I react very allergic after a car fire. There are certainly some of you who don’t have the original Opel radio in it anymore and also How did you do that? And I would like to have a tip: on the radio to be installed there is a USB connection (external plate) on it, which leads into a normal USB connector. This connection is about 30cm long and should be laid so that I do not have to drill as much as possible but also get there at any time (to be able to remove the hard disk, for example). The glove compartment would be very chic … there is a possibility that not necessarily Kurt’s level of skills required for implementation? Thank you

  • It’s warm in the car…

Hello you love, After I have been driving around for 2-3 weeks without climate cooling I made an appointment for climate maintenance today… Before I go there I wanted to ask myself what I can check before as a lye why it doesn’t get cold in the car. Klimatronic stands on LO and pales full can in AUTO mode and ECO is off… So I know this anyway from my black Limmo and since you had to put on LO position almost gloves in the Ommi… previous owner also the calculation of the last climate maintenance from July 2010… The big safety under the steering wheel has already checked. Achso irwoo I have read once that if too little coolant is in there the compressor does not start at all… Looking forward to your answers… Greetings Max in warm Ommi
