  • safe lock blocks passenger door

    hello community has the following problem…my safe guard (that’s what the adac man called and explained (if you use the remote control to close the door 2 times)) can no longer be unlocked on the passenger side. so you can neither open the door by remote control nor by hand. I have also only closed the door on the driver’s side and the passenger door does not react! you don’t notice any twitching or similar in the pen with which you can open the door. n. the door paneling can unfortunately not be removed without damage because the screws are on the b-pillar or at the entrance bar and you can’t get there… my problem is that I’m going to work with the car and 2 colleagues abroad this evening and therefore have quite bad contact with a FOH or my workshop 🙁 …the adac mann said however that there would probably be crash sensors that would unlock this safe security just at a crash! now my question: k can you trigger these sensors somehow from the engine room? does anyone know the problem? the FAQ didn’t help me any more… many thanks already in advance and beautiful Sunday!

  • Fucked up when changing teeth – How do I set the right marks?

    Good evening! I made a total mess when replacing the water pump with the tooth grate. According to the description of the tooth grate installation you should turn the engine 2 revolutions… unfortunately I turned in the wrong direction and it clacked (valve?) then again in the other direction and the engine blocked (pistons at valves?)… The markings(crankshaft disc – where the big wedge grate wheel comes in) and I can no longer get the ones from the two rails of the camshafts t. It’s so succinctly everything is set ;-(((( How can I get this back? How can I reconcile the markings???? How does the braces work? There’s no stop when I turn the adjusting plate (which with the imperbus cutout) (according to the instructions this should work) or the 13 nut of the tension roller has to be a little tight to adjust?   • Omi can’t die!

    Omega B, Caravan, 136 HP, X20xev, Ecotec, petrol Bj. 1998, approx. 200 00O km. Now I have driven 2500 km through Poland and hardly I am back home, since Omi no longer wants. Just do not jump without warning anymore. So far we have always managed well together, but now after an afternoon screw shop I have a bit of trouble: – fuel pump I checked, runs. Petrol flows. Relay seems ok. Ignition spark is strong. Immobilizer is not active (No B is active. left of the engine control light). Fuel is in the tank. Have no diesel fuel and there is probably no waser in the system. The laser turns, but Omi says no muck. Yesterday Omi ran still short, then was finished. No warning sign, nothing at all. What else did I notice? If I turn on the ignition, then the fan jumps immediately. Of course, this is not supposed to be, but it is now secondary. Palustre

I can’t say much, the car will be transported to me to Lübeck in the next 7 days and only then can I say exactly what everything is broken. But you could see some things already from the outside. The bonnet is smelled (can’t open anymore) and must be new. The headlights on the right are slightly warped and plastic sheathing is broken. As well as left fog lights. No liquid has leaked out and the car has still driven, no difference from the engine sound. I’ll see that I can deliver pictures. What do you think, what will it cost me to fix the Omega again. Well, it was the lima the smoke and now seems to be defective. My question is, it was now a coincidence with the Lima or is it possible to push the exhaust through the push so far forward that he can rip off a cable? Since I somehow didn’t have much time I had to buy a new Lima.   • Omega b rear wheels stand differently after repair

    Hello, with my Omega b Caravan 2.0 16V Bj 99 a disagreement occurred after a repair. Among other things, the rear axle bushings were changed and the brake discs and brake blocks were renewed at the back. Then the track was adjusted. Now the left wheel is visible further than the right. So the right is right as before, the left is wrong, estimated 2-3cm further inside. Track and fall were checked again, right. I have 20mm track spread on both sides In the first place, I thought they didn’t screw the track plate on the left, but it’s on it. Rims with the same tyre sizes and track plates were installed just like that before the workshop visit, so that the inconsistency can only come from the repair, something must have been built wrongly together. After several resultless tours of the workshop(the masters always said clearly that the left wheel is definitely further in and that so not se in) and demand from Opel, who also didn’t know any advice (only the statement that you can’t pretend anything that leads to this result), I hope now for your help!   • Will your omega be “correctly warm” at these outside temperatures?

    Hello, the temperatures are currently very low in Germany, so I am all the more interested in the fact that the Omega heats up (drive an Omega-B EZ 9/95 special model “Reflection” with automatic climate control), but not so warm that you can take off the jacket, for example. The automatic climate control was maintained at the FOH in the summer, and the cooling capacity in the Omega-B is certainly not “eye height” compared to the facelift or the Vectra-C, but rather a little weaker, but the current heating power is very low. I am very surprised – even though the temperatures are now much below zero degrees. When I drove my wife’s Corsa-B (EZ 9/96) without air conditioning, he has heated so much that I meant it would be a sauna, my omega currently can’t get to the heating power. Is there possibly a defect on my omega, or how are your experiences up to now? Thank you JD
