  • I’m really sick of it.

I really don’t like it anymore…. After I changed my oil cooler and it was running, I had to rip the belt, because the block for the climate compressor had dissolved. After that everything was finished, the KWS broke down, changed. Today from the way home from work everything went really well car drove really well and I drive it imom with 9.5l in the city where I actually am very happy about it ^^ On the way again quickly stopped at the bank, salary not yet looked on it. …. Go back to the car and see from afar that there cool water runs out in masses. Look, nothing seen. Then I’m going home ( 900m ) car parked and after an hour looked at where he was not so hot anymore. I first thought that it was the tube between thermostat and cooler hose. Pustekuchen… That’s the water pump at the front of the wave…. Tomorrow I’ll pick up a new one and drive it still until the end of the year (which hopefully quickly goes around) and then I’ll get rid of all of my half-time-finding is not really bad in Rome. I’s weekend.

Hello together, I have a problem with my Omega B It revolves around the 2.5 DTI with the 150 hp. At 3000 revolutions the engine shuts down. That means it then no longer takes on gas. until the shutdown it drives quite normally. Can maybe give me a tip what that could be ? Greeting Carsten

  • Omega 2,2 dti Y22DTH Sealing rings Connectors Diesel line

I’m just about to put an Omega 2.2 dti Bj. back into operation in 2001 after a long service life. I’d like to change all the O-rings of the diesel lines (connectors and filter housings), because I have to re-air it after a short service life. Does anyone know the dimensions of the sealing rings? Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything. The pipes themselves are rusty in the area of the rear axle. I guess these are no longer available, at least I couldn’t find them. How do you help yourself in such a case? Thank you in advance, Ewald

  • Omega A/Senator B – C30/40SE – Screws Flywheel, procurement?

Hello guys, I’m beginning to despair, I want to screw my two-mass swing wheel on the Irm Senator C40SE again. Was removed to exchange the gasket and the pilot bearing. Now everyone says that I should definitely use new screws, as this is a swinger and not a second or even third time to be used. Only where can I get these screws, all dealers I have found say no more Available we have refunded them the money bla bla bla. Part number and co I still got from my friend. GM 90342943 Opel 616287 Can one of me help or confirm that I really need to use new ones. I would have actually only put something blue Loctite on it and back in. Torques and angles to wear should be clear by now, are the forums full with. Greeting Sebastian

  • Omega B – VFL – V6 – Questions about my winter project

Hi people, since the Omega goes into hibernation at the end of the month and I would like to have been swarmed for a long time by a few rebuilds and I will put them into action. First I dedicate myself to the rust removal and that is to say the whole cart is disassembled and examined for rust. Then it is completely repainted Question about rust: I don’t necessarily want to take out the disc how high is the probability that it rusts under the rubber? So as another project the 2.5l flies out and a 3.0 gets a new place and the question: Even if each seller assures you that the engine does not lose oil or otherwise has no quirks, I would like to know from you what should be directly renewed on a foreign engine without testing it in the built-in condition? Does the 3.0l need a different transmission or Diff? (The 3.0l is delivered completely with all attachments except transmission) And as another addition comes a threaded drive with new tires and rims on it, but to the chassis I have a question: Which parts would you renew during the chassis replacement? Trackbars ? Crossbars etc.

  • 80 km/h too fast….

Hello everyone, this morning what should never have happened. I was really in a hurry and didn’t notice the video car on the highway behind me. A short time later, the sign came to follow in the rear window…. The policeman said to me that he had me at 160 km/h on the 80s route on the video. But it still has to be evaluated. I immediately made myself smart on the net and saw that I have to reckon with 375 €uropa and 3 months driving ban. Do I have any way to handle the driving ban?? I also need my FS for my job, because I am working in the field service and if I no longer have an FS, then my job is also at risk. What can a lawyer do there??? Please for advice. Thanks to everyone….

  • Weight distribution Omega

Hello, I read the following statement in the Security Forum: “An example of how not to build a rear-driven vehicle is the Opel Omega, where there is too little weight on the rear axle (which has a weight distribution of about 70:30, which corresponds to a typical front-wheeler).” That’s not true. Or ? What is the weight distribution of the Omega ? MfG Wartburg
