hello have real problems with low omega, have in my Omega B a car gas system of BRC (BRC Sequent24) about 4.5 years and was installed in Germany which until last year ran wonderful are 6 months I have a problem which describes itself like this. If the engine is cold (morning) everything is not better at all. If the engine is warm and the switch is on gas (which it always stands) it only jumps in bulky ( 5min was the engine off) it needs approx. 5sec. glue then it is there and runs until the next break 100%. and that is always only when it operates. so I hope that one of you can help me there is certainly also others with the same problem !!! The following has already been done : injectors exchange returned nothing !!! All hoses renewed and checked for tightness returned nothing !!! All underpressure hoses controlled on tightness I don’t remember!

  • Battery defective due to heating?

Hello all, in my 2.6 FL-Omega the battery is shot down after just 2 years. What bothers me is that the battery is a “high-quality” expensive Varta. I measured everything (LIMA, charge controller), so far everything is I.O. My guess: Because my better half and I use the Webasto stand heating extensively, it may be that the frequent use of the same goes on the life of the battery?

  • Question on the subject of sport exhaust

Moin. I recently bought a 2.0 liter Omega B, built in 2000, and am looking for a proper sports exhaust system, which is also reasonably affordable. That’s why I wanted to ask what you can recommend.

  • Tires VA run one-sided inside

Hello, my Omega had the track bars changed before about 7500 km and had the track adjusted. Now I noticed yesterday that my tires are driving relatively hard on the edge, on the driver side a bit more like on the passenger side. The whole with the track rods is about 3 months ago. Before I could not determine the whole thing for about 15000 km. Current tire is 195/65R15 … driving down the winter tires completely. There were no curbers or anything in the last 23 tkm I was driving. The vehicle was moved normally, so not extremely heated around the corners and so on. Half of the kilometers were motorway with 130-150 km/h. Now my question: Do you think the dealer has set me wrong track values ? Does anyone have the right values for the 2.5 DTI, so I can compare ? The chassis is original. I don’t know if it is a sports suspension. That’s why d he question. How can you find out if you have installed the standard sports suspension? Thank you. Greetings Karle

  • Ebay contra quality nurturing

@all, It runs through the whole forum… again and again questions Pro/Contra Ebay parts. The screwdrivers are annoyed, the mischievous generation is proud of the supposed bargains and everything hacks together… To defuse this story a little bit and to deliver a perhaps CONSTRUCTIVE post on the topic: Maybe it is possible to order by important assemblies, the quality manufactures which were installed in the Omi, to name according to the supply list form In this way, everyone knows which assembly he can play with “Billig – Plagiarism” and where he prefers to leave it. In addition, perhaps one or the other user also recognizes what the dealer/the workshop installs to him. How do I know as a normal driver without great screwdriver experience, what was installed in the Omi in the series? A corresponding list would be very helpful in the evaluation of the replacement / spare part. It would be equally helpful, since the Omi now also got weak parts from the factory to call here good alternatives. However, I do not know whether the forum here allows. Is not to be understood as a “black list” but as a description of what was installed in the Omi… (well, with small tips) Could be led as a “synthetic list”.

  • Remote control – spins

moin has quite a strange phenomenon: -open car with FB drive -place motor off -stegs off -close the door -> inside lighting goes SOFORT off -lock over FB does not go -close to (mech.) -after that the opening via FB does not work -door on -ignition! -door to -> inside lighting does NOT immediately -lock over FB works again ??? can this be at the change of the radio? from org. opel to blaupunkt? have not changed the two voltages there yet (so since uer- und flündplus) and now the hit: yesterday evening we drive, heating so at 24 degrees, and all of a sudden during the ride the sliding roof opens up (turned)!! unlying, no joke! without someone would have done anything! do you have a tip for me on both things!?

  • Cruise – Who knows ?

Hello guys, I would like to install a cruise control in my 98 car, now I have read a thread here in the forum about the installation, but with a car with train on the accelerator pedal, but not for models m. electric. • Competition – blows from the engine compartment

Hello @ all… I once again have a serious problem with my car. I was already in 2 workshops. No one could help me without much effort. i.e. without taking half the engine apart. That’s why I thought of it as a raffle. The one who writes to me the solution of the problem gets a bottle of champagne from me if I can still afford it after the repair. No, seriously. That’s worth it to me. So now to my problem: It all started with a I thought to myself, no, I didn’t want to change the cracker again. I had only changed it before 5000km. Then I thought to myself. Crammer seal or standing bolt. Vllt also intake manifold seal. Well, the noise became louder and louder. Meanwhile I suspected the trouser tube. Reason enough to finally look under my Omega. Far from missing. The exhaust incl. trouser tube and cracker is whole. With a thick screwdriver as a hearing tube imitation I tried to beat the punches. They could come from the gearbox, but also from where. Most loudly are the blows on the timing belt side of the engine. – On normal driving with moderate speeds the blows are not heard. – Timing belts, tensioning rollers and pulleys were replaced. – According to the workshop the belt would have been barely strained and the bearings of the pulleys worn out. The blows were also at first gone and the workshop thought they had the solution of the problem. found until they were back earlier. I can close AU everything that is operated over the velcro belt, because the blows can also be heard at the dismantled velcro belt. I am at the end with my Latin. Ich am in despair. Can you help me???? I recorded the blows earlier and created an info-file about what happens when. I offer it to you here for download:Here the audio and infofile So, now a few details about my car: Omega B 2,0i 16V (X20X) EV) 1.Admission.: Feb.1997 Air conditioning Automatic transmission Stargas PolarIS Autogasanlage Thank you for every information… I put the champagne on EIS… Best regards to your ZammiMops
