  • Omega Mv6 has starting problems

Moin! In April my MV6 had start problems. After the diagnosis in the workshop there was a new fuel pump. After I was introduced by the ADAC Easter, the KWS was changed. Four weeks later the same phenomenon (of course Sundays at the bakery). After the nice man from the ADAC had worked off his list (loose cable, plug; diagnostic device etc., he opened the maintenance cover in the trunk and when starting with the hammer handle (!) sloped on the petrol pump. Result: Car ran! After the new petrol pump was renewed on guarantee, it worked again five start operations. Since now the affordable expert world seems at the end of their Latin, maybe you have one or more ideas about what my Omi has fallen ill? (He won’t have his days?) Thank you in advance Marder Mueller

  • Can anyone forbid me from using roof beams for small boats?

Hello together, I intend to build a railing carrier myself for a small light fishing boat of approx. 2.5m and 40 kilos of weight, which fits on the railing of the Omega B Caravan. So basically two simple struts, which go from the left to the right railing part, which I can clamp to the railing and then back up to my boat. Actually, as you can buy it, just adjusted to the boat. Only, can I use it so easily or is there only a purchased one with ABE? A over muchleich also someone has something suitable at home in the basement….should not be expensive and offer an edition of at least 1.3 m…..the boat itself has 1.2 m

  • 2.5 DTI kicks and goes out! Pump?!

Hello, since about half a year it happens sometimes that the engine “turns” a bit. The strange thing is that the engine then runs again perfectly and quietly. The FOH could not read out any error and since it stayed so far with the “from time to time a little jerking” and I did not want to start unnecessarily on suspicion to have parts replaced I have done nothing further so far. Unfortunately the last weeks now this jerking occurred more and more often and it came “from time to time” (scho The engine can then be started again without any problems but is still stupid and also a bit dangerous (Servo, braking force etc.). Also in idle mode with automatic position on “N” the run is very restless. When accelerating the engine reacts also very “delayed”. Now I had my 200,000 he customer service and got the following result from the workshop: “Pile in the fuel, pump renew, The workshop master told me following my request: “Probably parts of the coating (gold-colored particles in the fuel) of the high-pressure diesel pump dissolve and cause these disturbances”. Has anyone ever heard of something similar!! Lt. FOH would cost the repair (new pump and fuel system clean) approx. 1,500 to 2.00 €!

  • Help heating defective !! Omega Facelift

Hello, I bought an Omega B Facelift Bj. May 2000 with X25XE machine in May 2008. Last month I had the FOH replace the shut-off valve due to the loss of cooling water (No. 18 20 014). Last week I noticed that the climate was not heating. I can’t tell, however, whether the heating power was available before the repair or whether I bought the car with a defect. In my opinion, the climate is very cooled. I have already done the following: – With a In the interior of the ECC, the temperature sensor is clouded. Nothing changed. Cold air continues to come. – Set the target value to “high”. The fan speed increases, but only cold air comes. – When the engine is switched off, the reciprocating air button is pressed twice to use the residual heat. Only cold air comes. – Set the actuators back. However, no improvement has been achieved. – In the engine compartment, the inlet hose is removed from the heating register and in the event of an accident. iebswarm engine opened the lid of the cooling water pre-heater. The hot cooling water flowed out from the feed pipe of the register. Thus, the register is not clogged. Yesterday, according to the FAQ, I removed the ECC and disassembled it. Please look at the picture. On the right side of the picture there are two darkened spots. Is something burned here? Can it be that the ECC is defective and thus no longer regulates it? Or is it possible that the circulating pump is defective? Is this in the cold water pre-heater. Is this used only for residual heat? Thank you for your help. Gruss Climasuisse.

  • X20XEV motor, switch and automatic equal?

Since I didn’t find anything wrong about the SuFu…I would have liked to ask a question seriously: I want to install in my Omega B Caravann X20XEV engine with less km…but the potential “new” engine is from a switchcar…other differences are…I don’t have a climate, the donor vehicle had a…I think something like climate compressor can be dismantled and disposed of…but what about the gearbox?I let myself be told that I had the flywheel And in general:Is an X20XEV always the same?It was not only installed in the Omega B, but also in the Vectra B, Calibra, Astra G etc….would an X20XEV fit in my ́94 Omega, for example, from a G-Astra?

  • Who else knows the old Aral advertising???

That’s exactly what happened to me yesterday with my omi. During the ride the display of the on-board computer goes to 50 km range and flashes. Well, I figured that would still come home and to the tank. Schei…, after 4 km the omi starts to buck until the engine went out. I thought, what is that now again????!!! Well, then I pulled the simplest solution in terms of 5 Litter canisters out and off. See there, when the omi had taken the 5 liters she jumped again as if nothing had happened to me. Can this be due to the weather or is there more defective???? Wish you all a happy firm and a good slide into the new year. Keep going like this, you since Super!!! Micha

  • No speedometer function due to ABS and TC tell-tales

Hello friends, I bought an Omega B Caravan for the pleasure of my father-in-law. Unfortunately it is very vulnerable. In the 2 weeks I have it it is only broken. Heating valve new, at Opel with installation 155 €, heating coolers flush 86 € and freeze I still do, petrol pump defective etc.. So, TC and ABS light very often sporadic, thus no function of the tachos and the systems as well as the power steering. Sometimes it works and the lights are off. The lights turn on to great shocks and everything falls off. I suspect somewhere a wobble contact, but where ???? Can someone help me here from you, I really hate to work for a car. Thank you so much, I am totally disappointed, although I like to drive by car. Please say hello Sebastian
