  • Position camshafts 2.0 16V

Position NOCKENWELLENÄDER (how exactly does it have to be??) 2.0 16V Hello guys, I changed the strap on my 95er Omega today. The new belt is on it and I turned the engine 2 times by hand on the crankshaft. Now I have seen that the right nook shaft wheel does not cursing around a tooth with the marking. Therefore my question, is a deviation of 1- 2 teeth permissible or normal tolerance? Or should I recreate. I am afraid when turning back that the wheel is over rspringt (over the compression point) and evt something destroyed.. Many thanks in advance to you.. Greetings, Matze

  • Which engine is best used in Omega A?

Hello guys! I’m thinking of buying an Omega A as a day-to-day vehicle! I’m not quite sure about the motorization! I don’t know if it’s better to get you a 3.0 12V, but there’s the high consumption again … the 3.0 24V consumes even less, but it’s supposed to be an everyday vehicle, so a 2.4 8V or 2.0 8V would have to be enough. and what about the 2.6 12V? I have to say that I already had an Omega 3000 12V, but very short! r me and I have to pay attention to what motorization?? mfg

  • D stickers gone???

Huhu… Would there be a question! On my omi there is an open tailgate of this white oval sticker with the thick D on it which we certainly all know…so…is this now still absolutely necessary???? I mean since there are the euro plates (which my omi meanwhile also has) is still the country of origin on the mark… Or does it have something to do with it, if the car should be sold abroad that the origin (i.e. the original mark) t for which the vehicle was manufactured) the car remains recognizable because of the differences of the vehicle in different countries???? I don’t like the sticker at all and I would like to take it off, only my dad thinks he MUST stay there otherwise the TÜV complains… no plan why… MFG Alex

  • What please is an Omega D.A.S version?

I found at ebay n B Omega… Quotation: “The car is one of the 100 hundred ever built …” According to sellers a D.A.S. version? Even Google doesn’t know any answer… Well, with Opel and their model_versions one never learns from or how? Who knows what it’s about? Link with the guided!!! Dump-free Pentecost to all of you and thank you for answers!http://cgi.ebay.de/…emZ4644940709QQcategoryZ9801QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem

  • Image of the Omega driver

I wanted to ask what kind of picture you have of the average omega driver. I find the question particularly interesting because the omega is basically the most classic Opel of the modern era, even though it has been removed from the program in the meantime… Anyway, when I think of Opel, I have a white Omega A saloon (free with the original wheel caps) in mind pretty quickly; – no idea why my brain immediately associate the term “opel” with this picture. t! Well, in part the Ascona C in Beige comes into my mind. With the Omega again I associate the two following TV series originals: 1.) Chief Commissioner Brinkmann, who drives with the fly (Tatort Frankfurt am Main). http://www.daserste.de/tatort/vermitt.asp?datum=2418 2.) Chief Commissioner Ewald Strobel, who drives alllerding 5er BMW in later episodes (Adelheid and its murderers ). http://www.tvshows.de/adelheid/images/title7.jpg Edit: Brinkmann also drives a white in all episodes. omega (Limousinde, basic model), initially A, later B.

  • Car Hifi in Omega Limo

Since I’m going to drive my omi a little bit, I want to install my existing car hifi parts. Was actually free of the installation virus, but because the things are all lying here…. moldy is too bad. Wanted to have some tips about cable laying (chinch, power, mass, LS cable). Also installation places for the power amplifier. Sometimes you can’t get on the simplest ideas and suggestions sometimes help to make it faster. JVC MP3 Autoradio (3 x chinch o ut) Power amplifier 5 channel CA 602 from Axton or 4 channel Helix HXA400 Front: Phonocar 16 er Kick, Titanium line 2/828 or JBL SR 170 Set Rear doors: Rockford Fosgate 13 er Coax either output from radio or from the Axton 5 channel Sub: housing Syrinc’s current: 20qmm with 1 Farad cap If you still have a few tips, I like to listen to them. Oh yes, components are fixed! Since I have all been lying here for a few years and I don’t want to spend any money on it.

  • My radio whistles 😉

Hello all, I have the following problem: When giving gas, a small high sound becomes audible. The more gas the louder! He can also be heard in idle mode, but quite quiet. If the engine is out, you can’t hear it at all. That’s only occurred since I installed the Radio Roadstar CD-650 in my Opel Omega. What does it have to do with this high sound and how do I get it off. I have read on other pages what is caused by alternators, etc., and you could buy a kind of destroyer at Conrad for example. What’s that, helps that and where does it go? Then I have also read thrushes or other things like earth. Would I really be very happy about an answer, so it’s annoying! Do you know exactly what I need at Conrad for a part? Alternatively: since I’m not a hifi professional. I come from Cologne, does someone know a company that knows the problem and can repair it? Have called today at Opel Levi in Cologne, who said, but must be disturbed and can’t they?

  • Engine damage ?!?

Hi guys, I have a little question, just to cheer me up or not… I wanted to pick up something from my workplace today. The way was about 50 km. So I started and about 1 km before the descent my vehicle suddenly did not take any gas… I then drove off. At the traffic light I then noticed that he ran very rough and. As if the 4th cylinder didn’t ignite properly… then drove right after the traffic light to the yard of a Honda representative and asked the technician to look at my engine for a short time… after the start he went out immediately. After the 2nd start he ran, but again so restless and some metallic blow could be heard… I can’t tell where it came from… in the empty run he ran then about 10 seconds and then went out… but could not be started immediately… as soon as you had easily kicked on the gas, but he ran hard. then he didn’t run anything else, just as soon as you had taken away gas… he started a jerking again… the technician then said: Runtimes were put off or was put off in the car again.

  • Omega = scrap car?

I told a buddy’s father that I was going to get an Opel Omega and he was just laughing and saying, “I should think about why Opel doesn’t produce these cars anymore”; I said no idea and he said grinsend: “The Omega is a total scrap car because it’s always having some problems”. If he was a layman I wouldn’t have given much to it, but he’s a trained car mechanic. The fact that the Omega is no longer being built also makes me stumpy. Is he right? If I’ve been honest with you, I don’t have a lot of money to spend on a car, which only makes problems.
