Hello! I recently bought an Omega 2,5td Caravan construction year 8.98. Was also often in the workshop with a lot of repairs, luckily everything was running over Kulanz. Now I have a little something I want to repair myself and have the first problem. The wiper water nozzle on the passenger side has too little pressure. The water does not even get to the disc. Will probably be the hose leaking I already thought I could. But I did not know that the hose inside through the body of the bonnet is running. How can I get there. The cables for the nozzle heating run through there too and I don’t want to break anything.I already say thank you for your answers.

I once had my omega evaluated
Hello Omega Freaks. I was at the friendly one today and looked around for a caravan. I myself have a limousine with the following equipment: 2.0-16 V , Sport , Built6/98 , km : 53000, TÜV a year ago without defects, accessories : metallic, Automatic , air conditioning automatic , onboard computer, fog lamps, 235/45×17 on Twinspoke rims(by Immscher), CD radio , Xenon lamps , double tube stainless steel spuff , the rest is included in the sports equipment . The car is accident-free and very well maintained The only drawback is a small scratch on the left rear wheel. The dealer offered me a payment of 5500 €. The vehicle I looked at should cost 17.500. Because of the small scratch he pulled me out of 1200 € !!!!! (the whole page must be painted). When I asked him once if this is his last word, he meant: highest 7,000 €, if I should take a new car. What do you mean, but I really want to sell my Ommi because I have a Caravan.

Omega A 3.0 12 V
Hi I just wanted to present my experience with the Omega 3.0 12 V (177 hp) inline engine. My father had bought the 3.0 as a combination with 4-speed automatic. In my opinion the engine is really a cream piece !!! His buddy had bought the same car at the same time but with 5-speed manual gear. Both I believe were entered with 220 km/h in the papers. But according to the speedometer both were faster. With automatic: On straight distance approx. 260- 265 km/h !!! !!! according to Tacho (for me to this day hard to understand. ) With handshift: 245 km/h at approx. 6800 rpm in the limiter. The automatic turned even at 265 km/h only approx. 6200 rpm. Both had a fuel consumption of approx. 12 liters even with fast driving !!! Many modern 6-cylinders would be happy if they would consume so much with normal driving mode. My father then sold the car with approx. 100000 KM to a friend. And then again to another acquaintance. The last time I found out by chance, the car now has 385000 KM down and should not have any technical defects up to some rust spots on the body. That’s what I call engine construction !!! But please only the in-line engines !!!! I didn’t hear so much about the V engines. The Vectra I 500 2.5 V6 with 195 Irmscher PS from my buddy had already consumed after 50000 KM 1 liter of oil on 500 KM and was quite at the end !!! GRUß

Attachment load Opel Omega
Hello forum participants, I am looking for a reliable towing vehicle for my 2100 kg boat trailer. Better said Trailer 500 Kg + Boot 1600 Kg. Is there a series or series of Opel Omega that can pull this weight? If so, which and what is to be taken into account in the corresponding years of construction? Another note: I only need the car for trailering. I use it neither professionally nor for leisure trips. I have other vehicles for this purpose. So a towing vehicle is wanted, d as 2100 kg can pull and works well at about 1500 km per year. I am grateful for every tip and hint.

Exchange or repair
1. Cylinder 17 Bar 2. Cylinder 11 Bar 3. Cylinder 13 Bar 4. Cylinder 16 Bar 5. Cylinder 16 Bar 6. Cylinder 13 Bar Well, what should I do, get repaired or ATM, if ATM is best to get one? Do you have an idea what it costs because the workshop wanted to contact me tomorrow. What could it be, since almost all cylinders are so far down. The workshop asked me if my almost 230tkm Original are what they are. Real shit

A praise from the Omega Community
So I really want to give you a commendation. here in this forum it is really friendly to. that sometimes who fights is always there. and in things tips & tricks you always have good things in stock and you can ask you what has not necessarily to do with the car. (e.g.: ebay) and even a successful meeting you organized what I also highly charge you. (unfortunately I was not there) all in all I would like to say the following: This is the conclusion I came to, since I have now driven around a while in the bmw forum. and there you can feel the mistrust and envy so strong. many don’t even believe that one has such a car bla bla. and if you need a tip you have to wait forever or it doesn’t come at all or you’re being fooled somehow. you hardly see such things here although the omega in the new to stand is also a quite expensive car. so a high of the FRIENDS CHAFTLY omega atmosphere. I hope that hasn’t been too narrow, but that was on my heart.

Spring-leg cartridge (suspension damper) clamps in spring-leg
Hello, I just want to change the front shock absorbers at my Commodore C. The parts clamp but really tight- up have the game- you can push the something back and forth- but they seem to clamp down. I have tried everything now- the only thing I could think of now to drill a 10mm hole in the lower lid of the spring leg, where I can then knock properly on the bottom of the shock absorber with a round steel. Logically, I have to be careful that I Do not drill the shock absorber cartridge. I can close the hole with a stopper. Or is there any other idea?

Omega B – Electric. Window lifter in the back, Limo and Caravan in the same way?
Moin colleagues, since my godchild (see below) is unfortunately no longer passing by Uncle TÜV in September, I bought a successor: Omega B Caravan 2.0 16V. But with the car the electric window lifter is in the back right in the bucket. The engine buzzes but the window remains closed. For this, noises appear like grinding gears. I suspect that just these are blown away. Now my question: Is the mechanics and the whole part of the soda and the caravan equal or I have to myself specially Looking for the Caravan mechanism? Greetings, Erik.
