  • What will it cost me? Repairs to Omega B

    Hello together, have now sold my E220 and bought me an Omega B 2,5 V6. Here a lot would have to be done and I would like to know with what amount I have to reckon with. A: if I have the parts supplied and installed B: if I have everything done in a free workshop valve cover seal oil tank seal cross handlebars front left & right ( are already available ) Krummer track set due to inside worn tires front and rear possibly cylinder head seal because I can clumped oil. ( can also lie at the short distances ) decorative strip at the door back right must be new Gruss Danny

    Moin Moin Have a leather outfit from nem 2002 Omi Limo FL at hand and wanted to ask me if it fits so without any problem in my 1998 Omega VFL… Mainly I think about it because of the sides airbags… Would that fit now or give something to consider??? Greeting from the Dax

    Hello guys, yes what can I say, the title probably says everything. My fat guy probably has a motor damage, because he put on water. Now the story: We had a strong storm with lots of rain, so there was a lot of road under water. I wanted to drive my grandma home again quickly. In a street where the water was a little higher it happened. Car in front of me had braked in the water and I of course also got a swarm of water. The engine went out and didn’t want to start any more. Panning service called and waited. After 1 hour then came the breakdown service and tried to get the engine back in motion. After several start attempts (air filter he took out, because he was totally wet) the thickness then jumped, but ran very rough and squirted. After 5 minutes of idle he ran then quiet, but then spread his whole oil on the road. o the breakdown man still had to order the sweeper, so that it can then bind the oil. Tomorrow he is then dragged to my workshop and examined what is broken. I hope it is not the Super-Gau I keep you informed.

    I don’t think I’m lucky again with the car. I just saw that my car has a puddle under it. To get to the bottom of the thing I checked the containers and that doesn’t look good. I took a photo. I think it looks suspiciously like cylinder head gasket. What do you think? What costs do I have to expect with a 2.5 V6, does someone know??

    Hello, I am Steff and have been owner of an Omega Caravan 2.0 bauj.01/97 for 3 days. So I had driven a Voyager before and am really excited about the Omega if there were not the little problems where you could help me. 1. motor pulls net, jerks and spins at 2000 turn totally. I have read now here in the forum and wanted to read out the test with the error code. I had to find out that the dear salesman has the bulb out of the MKL. So I have an e ine new one in and it burns as the MKL constantly. after instruction have bridged the diagnostic plug and unlinked the code. so report hall encoder, 2. how do I get out the nws? it is the 2 tooth rollers before. is it enough to unscrew the screw and then you can just take the part off? isn’t it a little in the housing? do the two rollers of the timing belt have to be removed first? 3 . where does the cable end from the nws? I don’t mean the side of the sensonsor but where does it go? to the controller where is that? 4 . where is exactly the Kws? where is its cable going? also to the control unit? when I pull the plug at the nws and start is the same as when it is on it. motor pulls shit and lamp burns. so it’s up to it? Another thing please, how is the placement of the fuses in the box that is in the engine compartment. A security is missing and that is the left in the box. belief the socket is red. it would have to fit a smaller fuse like the right where the big one is sitting. too good letz t, where is the relay from the climate compressor? this turns on nict. think magnetventiel does not get any juice or it is broken. have climate automation. I know many questions for a new one but I would be very happy about a few tips.

    Hello together. I’m relatively new here and I’ve been looking for answers for days, but unfortunately I haven’t come to a real result yet. I used the SUFU but either there’s no problem, I entered the wrong search term, or I’m just too stupid 😉 My problem: I’ve been driving an Opel Omega 2.5 V6 Bj 04.95 for some time now I’ve noticed that it’s just speeding up (by overtaking) in the upper speed range somehow the Leis It can be felt a little jerking. If I then reduce the gas and slowly give gas again it is usually gone (the jerking) either. There are no control lamps on or something like that. I once had the error code read out but only the FC 31, but that’s how I could read here quite normal. There are posts with similar sympthomes where it is described that you should place the AGR still or clean the throttle flap etc. but I’m not sure. I checked spark plugs and cables. Everything was fine. I checked my oil level about 2 months ago and found that this was about 5mm above the min stroke, so I filled up oil until the stand was just before max. Yesterday I checked the oil level again and had to find out that the stand at once is above max about 6-7 mm. The level of the cooler water is unchanged and also the smell of the oil does not smell like Benzi. n. It would be really great if someone could help me what it is and maybe give a small instruction on how to fix the error. Thank you in advance LG Andy

    Hello guys, I looked at an Omega again today. It was a 3.0 with AT and 150tkm on the clock (Executive Cav). Technically the top (as far as I could see it), the first V6 that did not “sweat”. Rust down to two places nothing. Edge on the wheel run back, not from the inside, but not treated scraper and some rust at the carrier under the drain driver side (had ours too). If only that would be, I would take it immediately, but in the seat is a fire hole from the seat heater. ZR is due in 10tkm. Other equipment: large navigator with up-to-date map material (2011) from Europe (I would build it out). Bose sound system leather equipment PDC + Tempomat + abn. AHK 17″ Alus (tires still i.o.) 15″ steel with new WR 1800 Euronen should cost the Omega. Is this realistic or still too high? 1500 he didn’t want to. I would have to renew the doorboard(s) as well as the steering wheel with Airbag (I imagine with the most complicated, since there are no used airbags) as well as the seat. I’m not so sure. So far all the Omegas I had visited were more expensive and in a much worse condition than this one, as far as the bodywork is concerned. If only that wasn’t with the steering wheel… I would have to do something with our current one even before winter, although the base is marode. The ZR and KRR are also due in about 10tkm. So what do you think? I know you get an omega cheaper in other parts of the republic, here in the south just not. Greetings.

    Hello I changed my gears old for new. Since I wanted to try whether the gearbox goes and turns on I left the car noh. But now when I start the engine stutters the whole and the TC indicators always lights up and off. When I press the button it runs but that doesn’t turn on. Can this be if the car is bucked up that doesn’t turn on? My right question is where is the gear control unit I wanted to change this. In the engine compartment into the trianglek asten is only the motor control unit and behind the manual drawer is a control unit with me there is TC on it but have found no further control units today and can help with bitte

    Hello my dear I have a huge problem First time to the history So I have finished my Manta B Gte now so far wa before 3Montan on the highway and there he ran super he ran and ran loosely the 190kmh.
