  • Spark plugs on the X20XEV under water

Hi, I’ve been owner of an Omega 2.0 16V for 3 weeks and I stayed there for the 3rd time yesterday. Cause -Zündaussetzung because the spark plugs are completely under wasse. Now my questions: where could the water come from? Could it be that somehow cooling water is squeezed out and collects in the wells of the spark plug holes? The first time the FOH assumed that the water could come from a engine wash-which was also carried out before the sale. the FOH put the candles and the ignition module only dry and expressed the assumption that the (rain) water could somehow run down the ignition cable?! Maybe someone already had similar problems? Would I be happy about tips! Still as an addendum: the water looks brown.Wherewith the cooling water in the balance tank is green.

  • [Small question] FB for Omega

Hello, I’m looking for an FB for the Omega Caravan B for my mother. I’ve already read through some posts in Google and I kind of didn’t understand anything. Can you tell me which FB is good for it? I’ve seen a small hub in the front window. So in the way of a half flummi. Now I wanted to ask is the radio or infrared? The BJ is 1995 The dare has also a ZV. (Whatever my opinion is normal. ) I hope you can Greet Ps: Can you tell mkir where I could buy this at betsen?

  • Problem at the start

Hello together, I have the problem when starting. I have to operate the ignition until the MKL runs out, I must not forget to give gas. I also removed the controller and cleaned it up. Furthermore, the car has got new hoses. but it still can’t really be done there he pulls off and to the motor right up when man stands so about up to the 3000 clocks and then after 10 seconds he sings again on normal. that is with the staten is But the big badass because I always have to wait until the mkl goes out and then I also give gas sons nothing works. What could be the problem here, do you have an idea? I like the Omega really well, at least better than a passat. It is really nice.

  • Rattle when switching on the Kuehler fan

It’s very strange, because the temperature starts to rise to over 90 degrees, the fan always turns on. This also works perfectly (except that it often starts with the Omega), but I have the problem that it always starts to rattle after a few seconds. It’s the most powerful thing to hear when you get out of the car (directly at the driver’s door side). If you then walk away from the car, you can’t even notice it anymore. Can this be due to an old ball bearing of the fan? If so, how does it come that you don’t hear anything, if you hold your ear over it while the fan is running, however, if you stand near the driver’s door (height spray wall)? There is nothing connected or should the cooling lines transmit the flaps so well? Oh yes, can you oil the fan without screwing it off? If so, where can I put the caramba plug on? Thank you very much.

  • AR25 Problem

Hello guys, I’m new here, come from the South Palatinate, drive now in the 2nd week my Omega 2.5TD Caravan, EZ 9/2000, 200,000 km, and have a problem since the bull heat last week, in which you might be able to stand by me with advice. My gearbox switches like this: 1/2/….3/3.5/4. Was now first at the FOH, which has 1/4 liters of gear oil refilled and meant the old oil smells burned. Now I have already tried the Sufu and read a lot about problems with the AR25 and that an oil oil If I were to do it myself, AAABER the workshop, which would be available to me, is not necessarily the cleanest one and therefore I prefer to have the oil change done by a specialist company. Here are my questions: 1. Do you think an oil change with all PiPaPo is enough to get the problem under control and 2. Does someone know or has someone already had experience with GSR-Griebe-Service in Eppelheim? 130 euros for the job. Many thanks in advance and greetings from the South Palatinate Andreas

  • Automatic gearbox replacement ?

Hello guys, Now I’m also facing the problems with the gearbox like many others ! Due to the always frequent coming unsanfeten circuits and an error message I was today with the Omega in a familiar workshop to look for the oil level, with the following results: – oil level tested and Ok ! – engine control unit Ok! – retrieve the error message (directly on the gearbox) executed with the following content … – speed error (sensor) – oil pressure error workshop meant that only e in the specialist workshop could make a repair, but also indirectly informed me that it is not worth it and that it would not take long until dea gears give up its work! My please now …., What can you advise me since many already have good knowledge here, what could this error be due to? Should I nevertheless get a used gearbox for me? Which gearbox (models /Bj ) is identical to my omega? What should I pay attention to when buying gears e.g. With the friendly car-replacer? Since I have no idea of automatic transmission (is my first) I am happy for every advice / help and thank you in advance …

  • Corrosion guarantee

Hello, last week my Opel Omega B, year 2003 seems to have torn the windshield at the lower right corner for inexplicable reasons. At the disc exchange it was then found that the lower right and left body corner is rusted more strongly and thus got tension on the windshield, which caused the crack. Before the disc exchange was recommended to me to have the rust corners thoroughly removed. Which I then for cost reasons only I had known nothing about rust guarantee until now. Before I went to the Opel workshop I would have liked to have an exchange of experience in this matter as a) I already had the new disk mounted and b) I did not have my checkbook completely. Thank you in advance.

  • Refrigerant loss Omega 2.6 V6

Hi, unfortunately I found coolant loss on my omega today. Vehicle was on stage and you could see the cooling water at the transmission bell, everything dripped. So rather everything so driver side, everything is dry. At first glance you could not see where it could run out. CO-test has already been done, so I hope I can exclude the ZDK. Now I have heard something about the shut-off valve, especially that this often gets broken, Can you check this somehow? And how can you get the best answer? Suction bridge out? Is there also the “backdoor” here so often called “backdoors”? I have heard a lot about the oil cooler, hope it isn’t. Greeting Michael

  • Omega A Ruckles at Moisture

Hello all, my Opel Omega A started to stutter some time ago. I changed the absolutely worn spark plugs, after that it ran round again. Now a short time later it jerks when it accelerates very strongly and jerks even in the empty run it accelerates absolutely lean only with strong jerking when driving backwards it even chokes off. In the morning when it is cold and/or wet (heavy to say because it is mostly cold and wet) it is much worse than zb in the evening if it is warmer and he stood at work in the dry. What can it be? Thank you in advance for your answers.

  • Gearboxes are ticking around

Hey, I’ve been having trouble with my gearbox for a long time, I have a Y22XE with standard transmission, both of them have about 162,000km down. So if I sometimes want to take the first gear or the reverse gear, it’s like a resistance, so I can’t normally get the gear clean. It’s like a “lock” in front of it. Only with a lot of force and force I get the gears in and it drives. It doesn’t happen with the other gears. Slowly it’s really annoying. Start troubleshooting, or does any of you have any idea what it might be like?
