Hi @ all… Here’s my story with the “Omi CD” purchased in September… The Omega bought at the end of September with about 103 Tkm (with `m “non-FOH”, but Hunda…. dealer), quite extensive equipment (tempomat, air conditioning, seat heating, sunroof, headlight washing system, AHK removable, winter wheels kplt. zusammen, u. u. u.). After about a week I found a “stroke” on the front axle (e.g. when crossing railway tracks). to drive, I have brought the omi to the FOH to look after`…. Result of the “small inspection”…. : Crossbar rubbers ejected, timing belt rollers make noises, water pump could be defective. Have communicated the defects to the seller. Suuuper customer-friendly reaction “quote”: Bring the vehicle and everything is done…. Said, done, all “mangles removed. New timing belt incl. tensioning,-u- turning rollers, new water pump, rubbers of the crossbars changed. `…. and NO EN PFENNIG TO PAY !!!!!! A week later the following failures: switch from the sliding roof without function, cruise out, windscreen washing system runs out. Quotation from NON-FOH the same as above…. Everything was done and repaired (without a penny surcharge) and also for the downtime free rental. That’s what I call SERVICE !!!!!! So, this “story” only `times short at the edge, greeting, Higgins.

Can someone tell me what costs I have to expect for setting the ESP and chain or camshaft if my OMEGA 2.5 TD has the warm start problems? Thank you

Moin Moin first time. Have a question to the forum today. I was on Wednesday at “Everything except expensive” for axle measurement (exchange of track rods). On the protocol I saw then that the fall at the front left is outside the norm and asked the fitter if this would not be adjustable. He said that the fall at the Omega is not adjustable. A call at the FOH resulted the same. But now I read in the Etzold that this would be possible (Etzold Volume 96 page 158). Now to my question: Is d are the necessary long holes available or do they have to be sharpened 🙂 Many thanks to the team for the many helpful answers to this topic.

Moinsen! I’ve recently been driving an Omega A 2,0i Limo EZ 94. I also had 1 year of technical warranty from the friendly one. So imagine the following situation: You drive with approx. 100 – 120 and hear such a quiet clatter. Well, it’s not really a rattling rather a crackle or the like. I’ve already checked everything in the interior that could make smoke, but unfortunately I didn’t find out. What could that be…? I’m pretty sure it’s coming from the engine, even though the 1A is running… . Now has about 83000 km on it, and already a new timing belt. When should the new one? It was changed only because of the time 98. I would like to make a sub with enstage in the trunk. How do I get the cable from the battery to the rear. Are there any executions? Can you get this way without taking all the amatures out? And where can you put all the cables like audio and voltage in the car at best? Unfortunately I have no nivue regulation. That’s really Äzent. I drove with 5 people and full luggage! I never do that again. The noise from the mud catcher is killing your mind! Otherwise it only comes up when you hit full throttle. What can you do there? How can I get the rear higher? Is a bit much, but I hope you have a few tip(p)s for me…! I have to travel longer distances with 4 people in the car more often. Hello to each other, I have an Omega B 2.5 TD Mod. 96. In autumn I changed my viscofan for a used one, because the old clamped and always went with it fully. Before I changed the Visko, the water temperature was always around 90°C on normal ride. Now with the other viscofan and yet higher outside temperatures, the temperature is so in the 95°C range. My question: How high is the water temperature in the summer with you? When does the V iskolfäfter? Do you hear your viskolfäfter when he joins? I’m not sure if the used Viskolfäfter is to blame for the fact that the water temperature is now going up or if there is another problem. Please ask for your experiences.

Moin! My 2.5DTI stands on 235/45 Pirellis with 17″ aluminium. I find that very chic.. but never had chosen it so much because it was too expensive. It was all about it. Now it is clear: the 15″ steel rims from the predecessor omega would fit. At least the tyre dealer says where they are stored. Now I planned as winter shoeing: 195/65 “house brand” on the old 15″ steel rims with new Opel rim covers. Although the optics was never really important to me (I am already married and also have a healthy self-confidence): What do you think? Does this look reasonable? How do the smaller rims and narrower tires in the big wheelhouses look like? I mostly drive around Hamburg in the typical northern German muddy weather with little snow. The Alps will probably never see my car. Are narrow tires advantageous here? Does something (technically) speak for throwing away the steel rims and buying aluminums for the winter? Just asked at the FOH: A set of original de ckel costs EUR 60,00. The seasonal tyre change on the existing aluminium wheels is not possible for me. Any hint is welcome. After all, this should be the optimal solution for the next 4 years. mHF

Hello! with my 95 caravan the driver’s seat is so depleted that I really get back problems. (either because of the seat or because I reached the 30 ) The 2 wheels on the side no longer work. Did anyone find the same problem and a cheap solution? PS: now I looked at Ebay and saw beautiful seats with door panel made of partial leather of 3 liters. Can you build everything or do you have to pay attention to anything? Bj.? Limo or Caravan ? etc.?
