The middle armrest in the models before 2000 is part of it. -That’s a serious joke at the most! The thing doesn’t offer any armrest when driving!!! -Is there any patent solution to the “problem”? Maintenance booklet and self-made repairs
Hello, since my OMI has already 105,000 km down and until then there was always a maintenance stamp from the FOH in it, I think to make oil changes and the Klinigkeiten itself. Unfortunately, you only get a stamp if you let the FOH run around the car for an hour and the inspection is processed according to manufacturer regulations. This is meanwhile also the case with ATU, Pit Stop uva… The problem is that I have a not completely guided maintenance booklet, which of course with a possible resale of the OMIS can lead to problems.How do you do it so?Do you have all the completely guided maintenance booklets ? Or no matter from a specific running reading ? Thank you.

Help, engine is only running in emergency run program
Hello together. I have the following problem with my Omega 2.2 DTI: After yesterday I drove completely normal and stopped the car for 1/2 hour, the MTK lamp lit up when starting again and since then the car only drives in the emergency running program. After check at the FOH I was informed that probably the injection pump is defective (price 1700,- + installation ). However, this could not be exactly determined. It could be just as good the engine control unit (means so?) Since this seems to me both a little much and the statement was rather vague: could the behavior also have simpler causes? If I still have this right in my mind, the code P1631 occurs when the ignition is switched on, when the engine is running, comes P1590. Does anyone have an idea? Motor tuning 2.5dti?
Have a quick question for you, because maybe one or the other has already done that, or deals with the topic: to let my Omi 2.5dti tune (optimize) by software or electronics. My weighing has now covered 130,000km in 3 years, driving mode rather defensively, my average consumption is at 100km at 7,4l (with automatic!). I have found only two (expert) tuners for the 2.5dti so far, for one project Opel, and for the other project Opel. other stone builders. Prices starting from EUR 700.00 to EUR 1900.00 are represented, but only on the margins. Rear brake blocks replaced
Hello together, on Friday I saw something that I haven’t seen in 32 years car making yet. My brake back right made metallic noises, so I got new blocks at the FOH for € 70.70 (which didn’t even cost DM 50,-?). Friday afternoon I changed the right side, the outer surface had still a good 6mm and the inside was no longer available. On the left side then the shock, the outside again 6mm and the inside (approx. 4mm) lies loosely between stop He and Scheibe. I’ve never seen the coverings replace each other. Since I have been driving the car since KM-Stand 65,000 (now 145,000), it must be the first and no cheap goods. Has anyone ever had this before??? If something like this happens when I drive with my boat back through the Alps, coastal road etc. ohwehohwehohweh! Greeting Werner

Omega B 2.5 TD power drop
Drive an Omega B 2.5 TD Bj 97 and have recently the problem that a power drop can be noticed when driving on BAB on a slight climb 160km, 3200 rpm. Does no more gas take and slow down. If I go off the gas and continue with 100-120, then it seems ok. Does anyone have experience with it? Maybe fuel filters dirty or injection nozzles defective??

Brake response In case of rain
My omi has the small but unsightly habit of reacting to rain and highway travel with a delayed braking effect. I think it’s due to a water film on the brake discs. Discs and coverings are original from Opel (cheese expensive) Does everyone have this problem and does anyone have a solution for it??

Pluspol battery hot????
Hello people!!! When changing the top fan switch, it was one with completely wrong values and not original Opel installed, therefore also the problems with the too early starting 2nd stage of the fan, at least after replacement of the switch, I let the engine run for a while, to see if the fan now does its service correctly. I noticed that the thick black cable, which goes on the plus pole of the battery, gets damn hot. So hot that already the plastic de r battery cover melted. I removed it for fire protection reasons!!! Once too long prepared on the metal piece of the cable….Fire bubble at the paw!!! The pole itself is not hot, “only” the cable at the front of the metal piece. What can that be again???? HI people just got my omi out of the workshop, because of the problem because he went out during the ride, now they have changed the injection nozzle for 364 €, but he went out on the return drive again and went almost no longer to !!! I could vomit SCHEIß OMEGA !!!!
