I just drove with my Omega A on the Autobahr! Suddenly the vehicle started to flutter on a straight track (I didn’t brake!!!) and it smelled funny! I immediately went down the next descent to a gas station and looked at the malleur! The left brake caliper (I think) squeaked and it smelled awful! What can that be? I covered about 10 KM until that happened! After about 5 minutes waiting the torment stopped and I drove carefully! rn was gone and I was only 5 km away from the finish! When I turned off the car, I looked again and it smelled funny again! But hardly any smoke! What can I do! Did the car stand there now and want to look tomorrow in the bright! WHO HAS A TIP!!! How can I get my Ommi back to speed! Oh yes! He stood about 10 days, without being moved! Can that be because of it? Rubbers were 3 months ago (When I raised the winter tires,) still OK! Otherwise also Never had problems with the brake! Please help me! I am grateful for every tip!

Once again I… Found my problem at the U25DT. The steering chain skipped and probably on the steering wheels on the ESP. I adjusted the steering times. The start of the conveyor was adjusted by 2mm when the synthtom entered (engine runs at once unround, smokes black and then no longer jumps on), the standard is 0,90mm. At the start of the conveyor I can no longer reach the standard and by turning back of the engine I clearly noticed how the steering chain ÜB ERSPRINGT. Oh yes, chain tensioner is also ok. I have experienced this problem with both Omega’s also X25DT from Km 220.000. Thank you BMW!!! Has someone from you already had the same experience? Greetings Karl

Hello, experts, at our Omega 2,5 TD Bj.94 is, as a workshop told me, the turbocharger broken.We are driving the car for quite a while now and I should now slowly do something. My question is whether it really has to be, that the same (so from the type plate ) turbocharger has to be reinstalled,od.if you still have an alternative.Speak for example just another turbocharger from a 2,5 TD Omega. Hello, does someone have a tracer, how the residual heat usage at the climate automatic works? I would be particularly interested in whether the blower only uses the residual heat present in the heat exchanger or whether an electric water pump also promotes the residual heat from the engine, cooler etc to the heat exchanger? Tomorrow boys! Tomorrow girls! I’ve been thinking a little bit lately about whether it would be possible to install a DVD system in the Facelift-Omi!?! Headrests for the second row are no problem. Only the center console is quite packed. (NCDC2015) And I don’t want to screw on it like that. A system that can be installed in addition to the radio would be the best solution. So you can nicely turn the screen on or off. Just no matter how I approach the things, what Does one of you have some stimulating ideas or perhaps experiences concerning my concern? Hello@all ! I just can’t let it go, I hardly have a new car again, it starts again – constantly I have to do something about it – remodeling. Now I completely converted the speedometer, onboard computer and the fan displays with climatronics all to LED. Had only bought something there at Ebay but could also put a candle – so much light brought it. So again to Ebay and LED ́s + resistors + etc. bought and made myself to work. T times completely disassembled that I came to the housing and then with a 5mm drill first bring in enough holes at an even distance of approx.1cm. Should then be around 20 holes. Now sand on the LED heads with completely fine sanding paper – until you look slightly milky-so the light is distributed better.Then put LED ́s in the holes and fix with hot glue.Resistances solder-everything cable and test.If everything is funneled, then install everything again. ……….. ……………………………………………………………………….. Well,… should only be a short guide. Anyway, I will have to disassemble the speedometer again, since there are definitely 9 LED ́s too little. Will probably install 20 pieces as well. But for the conversion of ventilation and climatronics I have installed only one LED per display (depending on the display red or blue ) and behind the digital displays the plastic is removed, otherwise is too dark and 2 LED ́s are installed. ————————- Al les built with red and blue LEDs. ————————- What do you think about it? Hello, if I start my Omega which is in the garage after longer service life then the automatic transmission switches up very delayed, that is, the Omega drives very long in the 1st or 2nd gear. If I switch on the winter program, then it switches up. If I have driven so 1-2 km it switches back to normal, so is only when the oil is cold!? Is there possibly too little oil in the gear? Frank

It is about a 2002 Caravan Executive with 2.5 DTI engine. Here most models on the market are equipped with automatic transmissions. What experience do you have with this same transmission regarding durability, consumption and response behavior. Or better look for a rare switch? For the different equipment versions, one more question. Does the Executive have the same seats as the design edition? The so-called Executive has these slightly greenish leather seats and a 2-coloured leather steering wheel as well as wooden equipment. I always thought this color variant would only be possible with the design edition? Or better how can you determine if it is actually an executive?
