I had to put a new battery in because my colleague got him on the construction site no more. He drove also 2 days without problems -.-until today. My wife stood on the way back from work in front of the bench and he didn’t jump on. I had to come and give her starter help. Starter spins 1-2 times, that’s nothing more. Can you help me? Problem car 2. My Opel Omega A Caravan. For some time he got hot (110*c) and I always had to refill cooling water. Now the engine goes out after some time.

Omega B 2.5 TD with BMW engine?
Hello guys. I got the order from a buddy to get an Omega 2.5 TD, which is with BMW engine. Which are now equipped with it? All 2.5L TD? or only a certain year of construction? The car will be a pure utility object, which is only meagerly maintained / can be. (if I get the car then I can do it all) The Omega has to create on the day (working day) approx. 500 – 1200km (very sought-after electronic freak for industrial machines with Federalwide orders). Sometimes stupidly asked…would this car be something for him? Over the mentioned errors can be seen away… they can be fixed and bothered at first at all! To avoid errors: Yes, he does not want a new car, leasing car etc. He is not interested in how to judge it on the basis of his car! He also wants to be allowed to drive in a Delle without any losses … keep a pure utility object worth without any idea! (with his motorcycles the gaaaaanz looks different) Greeting Christian

No question: I saw an Audi last time (sometimes new) I think I saw an A6 with which you could hardly see inside, because the front windows were completely darkened.The front window was also dark but not like the sideways in front, so drivers and co-drivers. Now my question: I was always of the opinion that this was not allowed at all. Or am I lying there next to my guess?Then I could do that with my omi too or????

Brake lights flicker while driving
Hello! Last Thursday a driver standing next to me at the traffic light pointed out that when driving the brake light flickered. I then checked this with my wife, and it was really so that when driving the two brake lights went synchronously from time to time. They then flickered short and went out again and so on. However, at no point during driving any control lights lit up. I drove to the FOH and could not find anything. I unfortunately could not check it there, because I remained in the car because I was paralysed. At home the error showed up again and moreover a brake light no longer went. Probably the error existed longer and now the constant flickering destroys the one lamp, the next one will probably soon follow. Has anyone of the revered readership already experienced similar things, or has any idea what that could be? I should bring the car into the workshop the day after tomorrow and I have the fear that one replaces half the car until one finds the mistake, the Master already knew on the phone that the brake switch was helpful.

Oil in the cooling water balance tank
Hello, I drive a 96 Omega B 2.5 TD with now 384,000 kilometers on the speedometer. I found today, which is in the balance tank of the cooling water oil. The engine oil consumption is normal, I could not detect an increased oil consumption. Also there is no water in the oil, I could not detect anything on the trackstick. It could now be the cylinder head seal defective or the oil cooler. Is there somewhere a guide on how to change the oil cooler? Do I have to pay attention to any speciality? Omega B Caravan 2.5 DTI automatic jerks/wummers when taking gas at 50-70 km/h
Hello your loved ones, after 2 FOH didn’t know any advice, I ask here if someone knows the problem and maybe also the solution. My Omega (Bj 02) jerks when taking the gas. Most clearly with a cold engine / gearbox and between 50-70km/h when I take the gas away and the car goes into the thrust mode. The jerking feels as if some mechanical part is running unround. At the same time you hear a slight whimper. Sorry, is not easy to describe that well. I could not even say whether it comes from the gearbox or from the chassis or the engine. Anyway, it has become significantly stronger during the last 5,000km and I wanted to know before I eventually left the car at least what it is. Maybe someone has already been able to solve a similar problem before. Alas, I forgot to mention one thing, although I did not know if it had to do with it again: I had left the car in the ski holidays a week ago. On the day of departure I drove the car and had already given the feeling that it was unbelievably good for the valley.

Tach together… after half the time I have charged my car with 230V->12V and since yesterday at noon 2 times starting assistance I have just measured the LiMa power…. only engine partial load LL 13,53V 5000rpm 13,55V everything on (HSH, 2 times sitting hzg, air conditioning (both fans), mirror heating any lighting and radio full pulley ) LL 12,35 12,80V 5000rpm 12,8V is now in the bag or not? looks actually rel. stable or is that outside the tolerance? LiMa controller (if BOSCH) or complete LiMa? achso charging control light only lights up for control (so ignition/motor off) battery Varta SilverLine from January 2008 (purchased ) Thanks MfG Flo

Hello, I am the first time at Motor-talk and have a question about Omega. I have an Opel Omega Bj. 04/2002 and want to change some small things on the engine control unit. In short I am looking for a slide with which I can read out both errors and adjust the characteristic field of the Omega and display the current operating data during operation. So mainly charging pressure, injection amount of the respective injection (before, main and after injection), conveyance start, and exhaust parameters should be changed and the actual values then displayed. And if I am already on the question would be great if someone can tell me still so fast by the way whether the Omega now has a VNT garret or not. I actually had to carry out light tuning measures before with the device then. Until now I dream of 400 Nm and 6000 Upm because of the relatively low stroke and a Pmax of about 190 Ps at 4500 rpm and well 300 Nm : think: If someone has objections because of the durability of the engine, be it crank-driver or turbocharger I can also help Markus with a friendly reciprocation.

The fat guy didn’t want to start!
Good morning! And my fat guy, after 10 months without a problem, didn’t want to start this morning, after he jumped this morning already 2 times without teasing. Actually the starter didn’t turn and I only heard a crack sound from a relay (the whole thing happened earlier in the morning at 04.00 a.m. during my work in pouring rain a little further away ). I then tried to start several times, but it always cracked a relay. An hour later I was at the car again and there the starter turned a few times but unfortunately the battery has apparently no juice now. He didn’t spit out any fault codes either. Could the starter have a Macke (but had worked without problems until now)? P.S.: I’m a member of an automobile club at the moment unfortunately not
