  • Omega B – Y22XE – gap on the exhaust manifold

Tach zusammen, on the topic of crush resistance at the Omega b Z22XE was already written a lot here – many thanks to all who participated in it – I could learn a lot from it. Now I have a question to explain: At my o.a. Omega B from 2001 I installed a new LRT 120 Krummer with the three-layer seal (Elring). Two threads with bolts and all nuts were renewed. Krummer bores, except for the two middle ones – drilled to 10mmAng In April the ZKD had to be changed – no high temperatures, but CO measured in the cooling water. The repair was carried out in a free workshop (chain). A ZKD sealing set (Elring) was installed – again the three-layer gasket. Head planned and ultrasonic cleaned. To this end I put Mercedes stand-up bolts and nuts. The workshop I worked on – after “Rosi” in three passes up to 22NM. In my presence we have found that the cracker has moved away. From the 4th to the 1st cylinder, the cracker has been turned on again to “Rosi” – see above – max. 22 NM. New nut and large washers to it. Since the week before last and after only about 700 km after ZKD change, it blows through the first cylinder to the thermostat housing. After about 1 minute in the idle run it is dense. It is not torn. I informed the workshop about this. How could this be – where did the game come from – why could the cracker be forgiven? Lt. Werkstatt had all nuts been tightened to my specifications with max. 22NM. The two bolts from the cylinder 1 were neither straightened, nor had the threads pulled out of the head – the problem would be on the cracker – says the workshop owner. But somewhere must the gap arise – and above all how!? What can be wrong here – not been done properly In!? Does anyone have an explanation for me – I would like to understand. Thank you in advance. Greeting……Chmpo.

  • Omega / Signum

I just had, during the Omi inspection, the opportunity to drive a signum (2.2 direct). Must say: Was really astonished. A fine car. Super road position and the engine has really bite. Well, this intermediate thing between combo and soda is not everyone’s taste, but from the interior, from the processing and from the driving behavior he convinced me. Maybe a kind of omi successor after all? Although the FOH still mourned the Omega today. He said something of 750,000 omega customers written off more or less by Opel…

  • Battery recommendation for 2.5 TD

So do you! What kind of batteries do you have in the diesel (brand, Ah) and how long do they last with you?? I have always bought cheap parts of RWZ-Agrartechnik, for about 50,- Euro. The joke is: in the omi I need a new one every two years, but in my tug it lasts for quite four years already!! Although it is a real battery killer at the start, because of suction tube pre-glow device (must be shot 3x) and powerful “short circuit” starter (20 sindiges orgeln bei Minusgraden) middle because the Omi battery is down again! *wrought* Now I want something neat! Would be nice if you still have about the price!

  • extraordinary question

Hello,I have an extraordinary question for you:I drove at about 50 kmh in my city two days ago and came up with a pole-ripe with about the same speed,I was suddenly standing behind me with blue light, and claimed that I and my fraau didn’t keep their seatbelts, because we were still wearing a seatbelt,we refused the bus fee of 60€,thereafter we received an advertisement from the two polis. My question to you:is this also a passie for you? rt,if you’ve been going like that since you did. will go to lawyer on Monday what he says about the subject, your opinion is very IMPORTANT to me.Thank you to all omi and senator drive

  • JIPPIIIIEEEHHHH. Finally, my cracker is gone too.

Well, I was wondering when it would finally break… laugh… a crack in the middle… a high on the dealer’s warranty.

  • My bad words about the Omega…

there are definitely some who have noticed that I have not lost many good words about the omi (no wonder at the 2 spare parts warehouses I had…) But I’ve been driving the Omega for almost 3 months now (see sig) and it didn’t break anything! The car really seems to be very reliable at sea. I just found nothing to complain about at this time! Hereby I take my statements, opel omega B be andreliable etc back. Maybe there were Monday cars!

  • What is PUTI?

Hello everyone! From my questions you probably noticed that I’m looking for an omi, and that I have no idea. Soon it’s over. At the weekend at the latest I have to buy en. (Then there are certainly other questions :-)) Well, I found again an offer – I think – 2.5 TD (131PS) BJ 12/94 ; 154tkm. pretty well equipped. The seller said that it reacts badly to the gas in the cold condition and about 2 – 3 min. after the start can be quite no In addition, he told me about some device for gas control and called a name PUTI. Could anyone please explain to me what this is about, and how expensive would any repair be? In advance thank you

  • Omega A

I have put my MV6 in the ditch on the weekend (so far there are approx. 4,000,-€ damage, the complete front stop) and today I find out if the engine, transmission, climate ect. also got something. if yes I buy a new one. but there will be only one Omega A enough. which are recommended then, from the engine (if I don’t find 3000 24V, because I want to have one). Greetings and thanks already ________________________ Omega MV6 Caravan (still)

  • Chassis problems

Hello guys !! In my Omega B X25XE Ez 4/94 I had the Weitec Ultra GT -30/-30 installed. Now I screwed Brock B1 rims VA 8.5×17 ET 13 with 225/45 and HA 10×17 ET20 with 245/40 on it. The rear edges have been flipped. Result: Everything is beautiful… !!! I find the look is TOP, however, the tire in front beats against the fender. Of course, I can’t let that. The chassis is deeper than indicated and Brock writes up to -40mm is no problem. is it so deep ?? at the front where the leg of the feather is installed, is sitting on the fender such a plate with a rubber ring, which stands out a piece, does not have to lie on the fender ?? Does anyone have a plan like me to get the problem under control ?? thanks Greeting Joe

  • Noise from the front axle and rear axle

Hellas together! 2. small problems. Let’s see if anyone can help. PREVIOUSLY: Since I have the WEITEC sports suspension, I hear a “doing” when I drive over uneven ground. I think it comes from the front left. HINTERACHSE: When I load the vehicle behind and drive six curves with uneven tracks (road tracks and similar), I hear very dull “TUCK” from the back left. But the “TUCK” can also be heard unloaded, but not in every right turn. There is enough space in the wheel box. The sports suspension was professionally installed by a workshop. Spur and fall were also made. THX
