  • Spark plug defective

Hello! Since this problem is very common and I am only on the road here in the Omega & Senator Forum and I did not want to switch to the Astra Forum, I will ask you. The Astra F 1.4 Bj.95 my friend eats the spark plug regularly on the 1st cylinder After approx. 4000- 5000km the car catches in the cold state only to run on 3 pots and jumps and bucks around. And each time it is the same spark plug that gives up the mind. Every time (now for the 4th time) is the Ke I have to mention that car often goes with the temperature at 100°C whether city or motorway ( Thermostat and Wapu new). In addition, a very strong hydroclacker is to be heard under load, especially during the ascent. The spark plugs are therefore also not cheap parts from Bosch. Ignition distributor cap+finger and all ignition cables are also new. So slowly I don’t know any more advice and hope for your help. MfG micha

  • ECO font ECC flashes

Moinsen I noticed that the ECO lettering flashes in the ECC when I switch off the climate. Is this the indication in the facelift that there is an error?? In the past, there were two strokes in the display- how are they displayed in the FAcelift? When the climate is switched on, nothing flashes, neither when starting nor when the engine is switched off.

  • Oil pump X25XE (and its consorts)

Hello, dears As you can read on the title, I have already paged something. Unfortunately I did not find anything to solve my problem. So, that’s because: The Omega B (X25XE, 1995, 98000km) from my wife sautéed oil without end. So first of all cleverly made (here at you and in other forums) and then close to sealing. To get the engine out and change everything outside at reasonable working height. Now it comes: After assembling the start attempt, it also starts directly; but kei n Oil pressure. From 2500 rpm on, the oil lamp goes off, it goes back to the stationary gas. Have I looked at the graphic of the oil pumps from KurtBerlin. But it doesn’t show which part of the pressure control valve is. Does anyone have an answer? Or can it be something else???? I also read here that it can take up to 1h until the oil is at the top of the camshafts. Does it really last until the clacking of the valves is gone? Thanks already to all who can help me here. • Omega B 2.0 16 V Cooling problems and error code

Last year I bought an Omega B 2.0 16 V EZ 07/97 and was enthusiastic until a few weeks ago. Then the MKL went on once in a while, the FOH meant “without meaning”. A few days later the needle of the DZM started to bounce back and forth, MKL went back, Omega out, moment waited, started everything again ok. Again a few days later the MKL remained permanently, but I can’t say that there was an emergency. run program was activated. Everything “feeled” normal. Error code read out: 0100, 0130, 0340. At the beginning of this week the Omega was then on a comfortable highway ride, about 120 km/h then hot, boiled over, and I thought already, that was it, ZKD ade. Towing up to home and looking for faults. But: no CO2 in the Kühsystem, no oil in the water, no oil loss and the joke, after I put now only water into ́s cooling system (very little frost protection) the Kühsystem works In plain language: after reaching about 97 degrees, the fans are on, (both stages one after the other), when the automatic air conditioning system is switched on, the temperature is immediately reduced. Now my questions to the experts: If the error codes have any effect on the cooling system and it may be that too much frost protection in the cooling system possibly influences the solenoid valve or something else, which leads to this. can the omega run hot (on the BAB). Then I want to rinse the whole cooling system again, here the question, is there a drain device on one of the two coolers ?

  • used parts sales by forum member “robbie2412”

Would like to play back a little story…also to warn others of possible unpleasant surprises… As I may have known, I have/had a tail damage since someone hit me. I had also reported about this here in the forum. Among other things, my rear bumper is defective. The local forum member “robbie 2412” had offered me to sell me a used rear bumper from his repertoire. That’s nice and found my approval. e a price for the used part in the amount of 50,00 Euro and a shipping price in the amount of 29,60 Euro (Spedition??). That was all at the beginning of April 2010… The money (79,60 Euro) was transferred by me at the beginning of April 2010 to “robbie2412” and arrived there too, because it was confirmed by me by PN. However, I am still waiting today (mid May 2010 -> 6-7 weeks later!!!) on my rear bumper. Several inquiries regarding this gave only unqualified answers like “…no panic…”, “.. .I have to find a parcel service that transports such big things…”, “…wait until the middle of the week, then the package would have to be with you (since 6-7 weeks)…”, etc…. My offer to simply transfer the money back to me and let the thing rest on itself, so far “robbie2412” did not come up…and the rear bumper did not come up. Conclusion: I don’t think that “robbie2412” has a used rear bumper for sale and I also think that cht that he really wants to sell something, but rather the money that he obtains by such procedures, privately disgusts. Is poor… Perhaps also moderators/forum operators feel addressed by this topic and want to take appropriate measures…

  • Frustrating begins again

Hello guys, my Omega starts to rob me of the nerve again. Although it is nothing with the engine, but the complete exhaust system is through. The fan manifold has cracks at the weld seam, the cat is vegammelt (o.k., which is already very old, because of the Ascona ) and the pipes of the center silencers gammeln. The pots are in the right place. In three months the AU/HU stands in’s house and then that. In addition, the track is no longer right and the longitudinal handlebar is fixed at the back (after one year, manufacturer L When I look at the underbody, rust without end, OK, nothing, but I have to do it… At the Ascona and our Vectra it’s relatively banana, because it’s not expensive, but the Omega is annoying sometimes. When I think about the WaPu change (at the ZR change)… I had to take the ZR again a total of 10 times. The WaPu wasn’t planned because the old had rounded edges and the new one didn’t. As a result, the ZR ran due to completely But now I had a success experience: The jerking at the start is gone. It was on the two-mass swing wheel. I changed that now on the WE and voilá, the jerking is gone… By the way, does anyone have experience with the culling of Friedrich? I bought the compartments quite exactly 24.5 months ago. So I just got out of the warranty… Greetings

  • TC problem fixed, automatic still spins!.

So there is again, I changed the harness everything well TC Iss off, he doesn’t stutter any more! But the automatic makes me worry!, when I start on D he turns on at 3000 tours in the 2nd and then there is automatic drive in the display! If I then want to stop and start again he gets as good as not at all forward!I switch it manually in the first three stages but it’s also not really great, because the performance is missing!,so I read it, no error in the g The engine control, say lambdasonde Plus close it does but there’s a mistake I still have to find! but the automatic gets me ready!one guess?!?

  • Omega Bj. 95 MKB X20SE 2 liters 115 hp

Hello, have one, two problems with the above mentioned vehicle and hope someone can help me here. Even though he sets the following errors, the Lambda probe and the speed sensor… Now I have replaced both parts and after a while the error comes again. The ne line is defective, I would exclude, because the error is not immediately in, but only after a few days. What looks like with the exhaust gas recirculation. It also does not work properly, if the for example is open and n Is it right to close, could he also set these characteristics or???? He then runs totally jerky and does not pull the sausage from the plate down and makes quite dull intake sounds, but that can also fool. MFG Demis

  • Tyre size for Omega B, built in 1999

Hello, which tyres fit on my Omega B. I thought 195/65 R15 would fit, but the tire workshop says Neee. I would lose the TÜV approval immediately if I went to the TÜV now. Should buy me immediately 205/65 R15 94H. And only those, no others. But I don’t understand that, drive around all the time with 195/65 R15 91T since I bought the car. Has the former seller charred me? Unfortunately in my car bill there is nothing of 195/65 R15 , but only 205/65 R15 9 4H. Here in the forum I always read 195/65 R15 for an Omega B. What’s right now? I now also got the tyre size 195/65 R15 due to the following thread, what now?http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/smallest possible-wheels-and-tire combination-for-omega-b-t2534709.html

  • Have a new Omi A and a problem

Hello everyone, after the bad luck with my old Omi has not been torn down I have now got a “new” one. Nen 2.0 Automatik Caravan, year 1989 and original 56000 km ;-)) Since I have never driven automatic immediately raises a problem. Partially when I start the control light “S in the gear” flashes up in the cockpit. If that is so then it does not pull right in the D-level. If I turn off the engine and restart then it is mostly gone, whereby I tomorrow We have made gear oil changes and filled in about 3.5 l of new gear oil. Would be nice if someone knows their advice.
