  • Omega b 2.0 16v Rugging when giving gas

Hello I greet all opel drivers and those who want to become it. Have the following proplem. When giving gas to my omega kombi 2,0 16v, I have oscillators, you could think it’s a detonator. if I give only a little gas and switch early into the next higher path it’s almost gone. I admit a lot of gas increase the detonators. candles, empty-wheelers, tooth belts, thumps, cam sensor have already been replaced. who can give me the final tip. thank you for every answer. tell me how to get to the error code without driving into the workshop.

  • Empty flow controller/air flow meter

Good evening together. my fat guy left me for the first time last night. and is still standing, because no one comes up (snow, ice, too parked) have described my workshop the case that I type on petrol pump (behaving as with my old kadett – at the lower speed range happens nothing, stutters and can just so on tours at fully pressed pedal. pump is however excluded, they sparks.) . the kfz ́tis made immediately responsible for it because LLR or LMM ( o hne test – is still parked) . now my question. can one of the two parts cause the motor to no longer start? mfg driftersdt

  • Load Timing Belt Switch vs. Automat

Meals municipality, would have a question about the timing belt. Does anyone know if the loading of the timing belt is the same with a switch as with an automatic ? Purely theoretically, the load should not be so high with an automatic – or was for “shave di först” reasons the change interval for both designed the same ? Maybe someone has an opinion about it. Greeting, Reinhard

  • Check Control

Hello together! I’m new here in the Omega Forum and wanted to introduce myself with my vehicle data first. According to the recommendations here, I have set them in the signature. First of all a big praise to all who write here regularly and “suffer-tested” omega colleagues with valuable advice to the side. Read already for a few weeks and with the help of the good hints among other things also exchange brake discs and coverings of the VA easily. Well, almost without problems – because I did not mount the sensor for the brake lining wear (due to the darkness) at first, but with cable tie “stitched to the side”. Here are 2 questions: 1. The check-control display now shows: – Check the brake light!- . The display was already there before the coating was renewed. However, I did not attach any importance to this, since the brake lights function perfectly and should be displayed in case of a brake lining wear. Is that correct? Where is the cause? 2. Of course I will install the sensors now (cars also have to go to HU). Are they simply clipped into the recess on the surface? Is this possible “from the outside”, i.e. without mounting the Bemssattel? Would be nice if you could help me further – many thanks in advance.

  • Push-off oä. defective???

Hello, my omi. again at the O.werkstatt. Omega Bj.97 ,2ltr 136 HP 150.000km So. The first time he stood in the O. workshop in 2008 with the problem that he takes mountain off and in the stand himself Sprritt. For me the push-off oä. defective, un off into the O. Werkstatt. At that time the throttle flap pod was discontinued. January 2010 was replaced due to the same problem of the camshaft sensor. In May 2010 the idle pod was replaced and the throttle flap cleaned. If the throttle flap is emptied out. Sep.2010 was built in a small throttle flap. Dec.2010 a new throttle flap pod was installed with the suspicion that the on-board computer may be defective. January 2010 the car is again at the friendly O. Now the lamda probe is replaced. What do you think about it???

  • Motor nailed

Hello together, I need help from the diesel specialists here in the forum this morning I started my Omega 2.5TD quite normal, after 20KM work trip without any problems I parked the vehicle. After 2 hours I wanted to drive away with the Omega. I started it, and heard that he was motor nailing (crack-crack clack, etc.) I parked the engine and started again, still the same nailing with huge size black smoke cloud from the exhaust. I had him to tow to FOH The workshop had built a new ESD, and the Nagelt still. Now the master says that it might be due to the ESP or the ECU. Maybe one of you has an idea why the engine nailed For ideas I would be very grateful Greeting Norbert

  • Let’s ask an AU.

Hello together and a happy new year. I was at the Tüv today and wanted to get my car over it, that unfortunately on the one hand failed at the horn (securing still flies out) then in the run of the last week a license plate lamp failed. The real problem is that the car did not get an AU, in the test report Co Vol% is not iO. My question is,is that now inevitably the Kat Defeckt is or can it also lie at something else and if yes To get back to the horn/secure, we had here before and some people here had given me tips, but somehow I don’t quite like the electrics. The temperature sensor and the horn cable run together in a plastic tube and I guess that there is a cable break there at the transition. Now last week I had the opportunity to check it at a buddy at work (heave stage) unfortunately was the time besc There was also a cable break, but only from the I-Temp display. Since the whole under time pressure took place I had not thought to pull the cable off from the horn and the fuse a set to see if the then flies out again. I probably will have to do that next week. I was already clear that I didn’t come so over the tuv, I was rather there that I then know if it’s all with the horn yes and now I know that it stops at the Au additionally l Is, therefore, I would be grateful if someone can help me further to my above question. Greetings Andreas

  • Omega A 2,0: Exhaust Limo – Caravan equal?

Moin municipality, for my buddy I have a Omega A 2,0i cheaply “shot” and have to prepare it now a little bit. In this respect I have another question: which exhaust systems can I build there, does the original from the Limo fit? Does the middle and ESD also fit from the next larger motorization (less back jam)? The driver’s seat cannot be height adjusted, although I pull by the lever at the side, this blocked. Has there only a drop of oil stuck there, I am too do of or is there something off? The ABS control light does not go out, where should I look first? Sensors (which?) or control unit? Thank you already for the collegial help. Greetings, Erik.

Does anyone know how high the TRAgability index for 18 inch rims for Opel Omega B Caravan 2.5 DTi is???? Is because different, with 195 and 205 at 15 inch are only 91 necessary, although at 17 ” already 94 is required! At 18 inch I did not find it!
