Hello, I hope someone here has some advice for us. We bought a Opel Mokka (used car) at the beginning of March. The first 2 weeks he ran great, but then he started to make funny “tackers” sounds, irregularly so not as if you could say ok always when it got cold or when he was warm. To these “tackers” it came up in the 2 aisles louder and a loss of performance also came up. Since it was very irregular we recorded it once when this noise came to the workshop already has a hint. We then made an appointment in the car house / workshop where we bought the car. However, the so much we had to do for a long time. Well, the car is now Thursday 15.04 with us and was probably already driven (via the highway), then you called to this morning and said there is nothing we can find, that I have almost thought of something coming up. If you have a tip, I would hang you in the attachment in audio file.

Senator B – Time spent renewing the hardy disc at the back of the diff.
Hello people. my rear hardy disk has to be renewed. I was now in the only (free) workshop here in the area and asked about the cost of the installation (without material). I was opened that everything would have to be removed (e.g. exhaust, cardan shaft and any sheet metal, front and rear would be a thorn etc.). For the change of the rear disk at least 150 euros. Here in the forum I read 30-45 minutes and he wants to wurst around it 3-4 hours. What’s right now? And how exactly do you have to proceed to change the rear disk? Please help me quickly – my only car, for which I leafed 700 euros for the HU at the same workshop 10 days ago… I already thank you in advance. Oh so… at Ebay many disks are offered at low prices. But what do they do? Where do you get a low-priced, which can withstand anything (177 HP 3.0i Kat) ?

Stop start at (almost) cold engine
The last thing I noticed was that the stop-start-automatic system is already ‘beating’ at almost cold engine (see picture). However, warm air is already coming out of the heater at this time. What do you think: Is the system optimally adjusted for engine life and fuel savings? (cold engine should not be particularly good) Is the engine warm enough at this time? Or would you deactivate the system manually at this time?

New engines? 6-speed transmission? Who has to/will wait there?
Halli hello, in the press reports the Adam gets away quite well, with the exception of engines/gears. These are called “old”, “not innovative”, etc… I am torn back and forth! What do I want? I really want a charged mini engine with 2-3 cylinders and absolutely a 6speed transmission? Or do I want an engine that has a few years on the hump, but also matured accordingly (stand-resistant?). I have driven the most different cars, from MINI Cooper (Sauger) to MINI CooperS (Turbo), or Corsa (Sauger) and Golf (Turbo), BMWs with suction and turbo engines. The turbos had/have always struggled with electrical problems and turbo damage. From the 1.4l turbo from VW (Polo GTI), or Audi A1 I don’t want to talk about oil consumption and engine damage. What do you mean? Rather solid, “old” technology or newly developed engines? Greet Oli

Performance at Facelift
Hello, have my third Omega (2.2 16V 2001 Facelift) for a few days now. Somehow I think it’s still on the gas as its predecessor (2.0 16V). Can the new one be translated differently in 5th gear? Anyway, I’m inclined to switch down on the mountain. 😉 Greetings
