Hello, with my Omega the head gasket is flat. Now I have an estimate from Opel and I am surprised what that costs! Did any of you ever let this be done ?? or does anyone know what work values are estimated for such a thing??? And whether the sealing set of 312,- € is complete, so for both sides ? And whether by Opel is prescribed to do both sides. And what kind of a role is the talk ? Should also cost 233,75. Would be nice if you can help me.

OIL control on automatic transmission???
So, what did I do about Thomas, because I did my gear oil change about 4 weeks ago and I had too much oil in the beginning, I left the oil in the warm condition again until it was lower-edge thread from the screw opening. All this with running engine, so that I had the car the last two days on stage because of starter change, I thought to myself once again I test the filling level of the automatic transmission, I didn’t think about it, that the engine has to run, so I started the engine and then turned the screw out, I had to find out that as soon as the screw has turned out, a so-called to inward arises, which is so strong that it would hold the screw. The engine then also changes with open screw, the speed !!! I thought funny, is this normal ?? maybe yes, is not a mishap from the engine ?? I made car again, and now I have already thought about it right at the buddy in the Ford factory, I asked him right now and also his second master, but has experienced something that has not arrived at Ford or so. I have not been aware of the filter, but I bought the last one.

Timing belts skipped x25xe. What do?
Hi. I could buy a cheap Omega B Caravan (1400 €). I already put the Tread in the engine, and one member said that I should post it again. At the omme the timing belt on the crankshaft skipped about 3 teeth. I put the belt on trial, and then I had to find out with surprise the nothing happened. HURRA the bargain par excellence. Compression with closed throttle flaps and in the cold condition 13 bar. I think this is good at a mileage of 125 000 km. Now of course I want to make the belt new. Actually I always do everything new, so incl. tensioning and turning rollers. (well known) The V6 however has metal rollers. 1. If I do this now also new or can leave the inside. 2. I absolutely need the locking tool or also works the 5mm drill lock as with the 16 V ́s 3. What for experiences have you done with the X25xe motors?

Omi Funk ZV does not work
Hello, just 2 weeks ago I became proud owner of an Omega 2.0 16 V BJ 7/98 and now have the following problem. When I wanted to lock the car by radio nothing happened anymore. I tried it a few times, once I could open it and now there is nothing more. By hand everything works as it should. I think it’s not because of the batteries because it would have to be very stupid coincidence if both key batteries should be empty at the same time. What for an average consumption you have to reckon with (real). Please no hero answers 1.5 liters to 100 km and so I want real average values when it works. Who knows rat ??

I’m sorry!!! It’s not really about my OMEGA B 2,5 TD automatic. For a few days now, a bad smell or better said stench from the engine compartment into the car interior. After a long search I’ve turned out the front engine compartment, so the area front of the engine as a source of smell. When the engine hood is closed, the smell rises up from the grill. If the cooler KALT, the smell is very intense and to break. It smells like a burnt cooled coupling. Are engine and cooler WARM the smell is weaker and smells like burnt plastic or rubber. If the engine hood is opened, the hot air of the engine comes to it and the smell is not falsified and weaker about? I’ve only checked the temperature / smell is definitv different and level unchanged 2. Servo oil and brake fluid / odour differently and filling levels unchanged 3. Climate jumps and Compressor runs properly / climate is not very cold / too easily in the garage water?

Door Panel
Hello forum, after a long fault-free time I have to report back. This morning I did not get the passenger door open any more. I can open the door through the central lock, still by pressing the “stuppet” in the door. If I press the ZV indeed twitches this stuppet, but it does not move. Also by pulling or pressing it it it does not move. Now my question: Does someone have a guide for me how to get the door interior covering off? Looks quite screwless. – And how can I get you off without getting the door open??!!! Or how can I get the door open to dismantle the disguise? Thank you already once from me. Greetings, Becky

Lighting Klimatronik, extension ashtray
Hello guys, I’m just about to renew the lighting of the climate-tronics and have read the instructions here in the forum. I have the ashtray insert out and can’t discover a screw to completely expand the ashtray. Where should it be? Otherwise I can hardly get to the two screws for the large aperture. The radio with the insert is outside and I think I have found the temple. It sits further above the radio shaft. Is a slightly thicker rectangular temple, which can only be pulled down on the right side. Am I right there? Thank you in advance, Ronald

Cylinder head and whether repair or not?
Hello your car lover out there! I am very desperate at the moment. I call my car Opel Omega 2,0 Limousine, “Dicker”! That’s the way to the beginning 🙂 This said Opel Omega is Bj 1992, 2.0 l machine, top maintained, Grarage vehicle has a probably since a day cylinder head problems:-(. Concretely: it was the 4 spark plugs changed and the cables. Yes! But then the bitter message: The 4 cylinder does not build up any compression. The spark plug was like new. I have not yet had the upper engine opened. So I am not 100% sure if it is the valve, cylinder seal? This vehicle, my dick is absolutely heart grown up to me. I don’t want to let it rot or the like. We have been known for 13 years…Bin proud of it 🙂 What would you do? p.s. Cylinder head seal? Very dangerous. Whole engine block? Ujujuj, but this will all be very expensive.
