Hello, I drive a 96 Omega B 2.5 TD with now 384,000 kilometers on the speedometer. I found today, which is in the balance tank of the cooling water oil. The engine oil consumption is normal, I could not detect an increased oil consumption. Also there is no water in the oil, I could not detect anything on the trackstick. It could now be the cylinder head seal defective or the oil cooler. Is there somewhere a guide on how to change the oil cooler? Do I have to pay attention to any speciality? Hello your loved ones, after 2 FOH didn’t know any advice, I ask here if someone knows the problem and maybe also the solution. My Omega (Bj 02) jerks when taking the gas. Most clearly with a cold engine / gearbox and between 50-70km/h when I take the gas away and the car goes into the thrust mode. The jerking feels as if some mechanical part is running unround. At the same time you hear a slight whimper. Sorry, is not easy to describe that well. I could not even say whether it comes from the gearbox or from the chassis or the engine. Anyway, it has become significantly stronger during the last 5,000km and I wanted to know before I eventually left the car at least what it is. Maybe someone has already been able to solve a similar problem before. Alas, I forgot to mention one thing, although I did not know if it had to do with it again: I had left the car in the ski holidays a week ago. On the day of departure I drove the car and had already given the feeling that it was unbelievably good for the valley.

In short I am looking for a slide with which I can read out both errors and adjust the characteristic field of the Omega and display the current operating data during operation. So mainly charging pressure, injection amount of the respective injection (before, main and after injection), conveyance start, and exhaust parameters should be changed and the actual values then displayed. And if I am already on the question would be great if someone can tell me still so fast by the way whether the Omega now has a VNT garret or not. I actually had to carry out light tuning measures before with the device then. Until now I dream of 400 Nm and 6000 Upm because of the relatively low stroke and a Pmax of about 190 Ps at 4500 rpm and well 300 Nm : think: If someone has objections because of the durability of the engine, be it crank-driver or turbocharger I can also help Markus with a friendly reciprocation.

Good morning! And my fat guy, after 10 months without a problem, didn’t want to start this morning, after he jumped this morning already 2 times without teasing. Actually the starter didn’t turn and I only heard a crack sound from a relay (the whole thing happened earlier in the morning at 04.00 a.m. during my work in pouring rain a little further away ). I then tried to start several times, but it always cracked a relay. An hour later I was at the car again and there the starter turned a few times but unfortunately the battery has apparently no juice now. He didn’t spit out any fault codes either. Could the starter have a Macke (but had worked without problems until now)? P.S.: I’m a member of an automobile club at the moment unfortunately not

Hello guys, had it recently addressed because of the addition in the lock differential. have filled it up today (250ml) now I have the big problem that the whole car at a speed of approx. 45 to 60km/h very strongly vibrates while driving and even though I strongly accelerate. even if I kick the clutch or nehemize the gear, it still vibrates further. what could that be? am totally sad….

Hello, I have this radio on my Omega B yes. However, I have a problem… I can open my car with it, but I can’t close it with it. It can’t be at the soldering points, which I made about 10 minutes ago New batteries are also inside. Learning works perfectly, the locks go back and forth once, but if I want to close it then it doesn’t work. So I have to do with the lock! Also I can’t get the disc lock in, whether with the remote control or with the lock! Can it be because I have another radio installed? LG

My Omi (Bj95/X20XEV) has been ticking around lately. FC38 is set, unround engine run (when it has been started hotly extreme), at the traffic light the speed drops sometimes simply (then mostly the FC) and the exhaust gases stink of a fat mixture. The consumption is thus about 10-12 liters fluctuating. I changed the LMM often times (3x china = even worse function and twice used original = no change) and the camshaft sensor has also been changed (Siemens/Matthies).Theoretically, almost only the Lambda probe remains over, doesn’t it? Where do their cables come from, or where could they be measured? Can you read more accurate data with the old Omi via OBD (or OBD2)?
