Omega B 6 Zyl. Diesel Automat Kombi
Dear forum members, have a look at above mentioned Kombi Bj. 96/97, because I am looking for a heavy-duty diesel. What to pay special attention to – regular maintenance provided ?! Up to which Km performance are the Fzg. relatively easy to buy – also with regard to reliability of the automatic Gtr. with heavy trailer operation. How are the Fzg. in consumption, driving about 60% city and 40% distance; drive fast, but am not a “Heizer”. Grüßle Jazzer 2004

“Motor clapping” in cold condition
Hello “Opelaner”, have recently again an annoying problem with the “sparing box without floor”. In the cold state of the engine (2.0 16V with currently 107 Tkm) nailed, or better said, that it is so audible even in the interior, without lowered windows. When the engine is warm, no sound can be heard. What could be the prob. ? Water pump, timing belts incl. tensioning rollers, crackers has been changed before 1 Tkm. Already `mal Danke and have a nice w Eek, Higgins 61.

elekt. problem ?
Hello, the following facts: Yesterday I stood in the traffic jam, and of course the light, the heating and the radio (no amplifiers or similar) were there. After about 10 minutes suddenly the light began to “wag” – once weaker and stronger, also the lighting in the cockpit. Always in the same rhythm. When the traffic jam broke up and I was on the road again at around 100 km/h, the haunting stopped again? Can anyone tell me what that could be ?

I don’t think the km was right
hello, 4 months ago I bought an omega mv6 used. so gradually more and more small defects come to day. under another the km counter just stopped 6 weeks ago. they told me that there was a gear broken, because I put the day counter on 0 during the ride. the day before yesterday he suddenly went again. now I thought that this has occurred already and the vehicle has a lot more km on it than indicated. where can you have such a check? what cost? T such an opinion?

Again I was linked
Again the annoying topic: I bought a rear spoiler at the auction house 3,2,1 m…. In the article description it says explicitly : They offer on an IRMSCHER rear spoiler Omega B Now I got the spoiler, but is unfortunately not an Irmscher spoiler. After contacting the seller he gave himself first as unsuspecting, and he thought he had not sold me any Irmscher. After that I asked Him to read his article description again, he did so well. The Spoiler looks like an Irmscher, that’s what he meant by it. Now I have another spoiler that I don’t need. A few weeks ago I got one from a known person who didn’t have any AbE or something like that.We had already dealt with the subject. The seller would transfer me an offer of 10 Euro. The spoiler with shipping cost 43 Euro. The TÜV means the acceptance of the spoiler would cost depending on the amount of 35-50 Euro. n 20 Euro I would be satisfied, as I would have covered half of the costs. The seller does not agree to it. And now? Oh yes: The seller is from this forum. I do not call (yet) names. mfg Demir2

Soooo, he’s running again!!!
Hello guys, just added the last parts and what should I say – it’s going on again. Hurrah, cheer, umdentischdance… The clacking noise after the cylinder head repair was no hydro-punch. At least not directly. I probably installed the camshaft on the intake side slightly under tension (although on OT 1. cylinder) and tightened the screws of the bearing lids with 8 Nm. As a result, the bearing lids were not properly fixed despite correct torque and the camswe lle had the game accordingly. Of course, you can’t blame the flapping… Fortunately, the wave has survived the action seemingly harmlessly. And so the engine purrs like a bee now. It is quieter than I have ever experienced before. I thank you all for your help, support and psychic assistance. Without you everything would have been much more problematic. And the morale of the story: don’t trust your torque wrench.

Calibra Diesel??
Can you imagine a fuel oil ferrari based on a Calibras. It didn’t really work out much if you’ve already converted a motor and know a little about it. I’ve come to that on the way home from work. Just a good calibra carroserie and e.g. the motorhttp://cgi.ebay.de/…6665QQQihZ012QQcategoryZ61282QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem and many times still a bit chip. so you actually have what you want super c w worth bear torque even from below out. and very economically just because a diesel is and will not need much. what do you think about such a brain-spinning. Gave already times nengt diesel which set some records so why not also a calibra diesel

Calibra Purchase > which Editon and which years of construction?
Hello Opel friends, would like to buy me a Calibra in the near future, now I don’t know which years of construction and editones are recommended. I want one where the Rostrisko is relatively low. The Last Edition seems to me to be the most suitable, only with the x20xev engine and not with the c20ne engine. The c20ne is supposed to be quite robust and the x20xev is relatively vulnerable or are these just exceptions? The advantage of the x20xev would be less fuel consumption and cheaper Versi The advantages of the c20ne are more robust and the sound is better. Was the Last Edition also available with Bose Soundsystem? What problems do you have to pay special attention to at Calibra?Other editions that I would like to know about would be the Young, Cliff and Classic II. As engines only c20ne and x20xev come into question or can anyone here express what the real fuel consumption of the V6 is?
