Moin people, have the following problem, wanted to change oil yesterday and see, the screw turns, but infinitely and does not come out further. Now I thought to myself oil tank and look again, until I had the torx screws started was a murder work. So now to my problem, I can not get the oil tank further off, because the big engine handle or holder is under it. How do I go on ahead now ??? Motor lift ? But how ???? Is it enough that I have the two screws b Zw. Nuts solve under the two big rubber buffers or do I have to solve something ??? And how far can I lift it then. And does anyone know how to lift it ? From below without a lifter ??? For every tip I would be grateful. Drive an Omega B 2,5 TD ( BMW Motor )

Total braking failure at Agila B despite passed TÜV and brake test?
Dear Agila drivers and Opel experts, does anyone have experience with a sporadically occurring total braking failure at the Agila B? I try to follow a hint of a driver from the family circle, it would rarely result in total braking failure, i.e. brake pedal on one time through to the floor plate and no braking effect, by pumping on the brake pedal then everything is ok again. The only thing I could find regularly is that the back pressure on the brake pedal after starting minim I first had the sound so-called TÜV with brake dynamometer done without any problems. Of course you can now say like the workshop “driver spins”, but maybe an expert among you also knows whether there are any occasionally yielding valves / flaps or the like in the brake system, because that sounds like that. Do you tap on brake power amplifier or on the brake power distributor? The car, by the way, does not lose any brake fluid. The problem arises in the cold November city traffic in the lowlands and not in connection with “hot brakes” or mountain rides, so a steam formation in the system can be excluded. The car is 7 years old and has only real 40 Tkm on the Tacho, switchcar with diesel engine [yes, I know, is uneconomical with the driving performance 😉 ] Too bad that I am not a US citizen. I could change from GM/Opel probably claim a million compensation. Here in D only the troubleshooting remains without help from Rüsselsheim. But maybe with yours? Thank you!

c20xe needs more power, what to do?
Moin, ride a c20xe in an ASCONA C, but not on the road, but on stubble field races.Last year he was pushed together in a draw, and had to build a new rear. Now he has also become heavier and also not so lively. So the Golf 16v is faster. Engine is so far original, have only n red Riding Hood on it, lighter flywheel. Does a many times n have some advice? What about sharp camshafts ? valve springs ? Cossi head ? And where or who would have what? Thanks first of all greeting Temple13

Penalty for low oil loss?
Hello, I am constantly parked by a neighbor (doctor). When I asked him to drive away his great Jaguar so that I can get into mine, he threatened to show me to the office (from my car a little oil drips, absolutely little almost not at all as you can see on our yard) There are “SINE PARKPLATZ” oil stains. But there is always someone else parked there too… That’s also the point of contention : Public road and he thinks this is his private parking! No sign And nothing. He just parks EVERYTHING in second rhey, hinders traffic and buses. Has the matter been photographed more often. Can I really expect a punishment? Did he only get so fresh TüV on it, he would have said something or? No doubt every older car has a certain degree of clarity? Opposite strike: Can I not display it? Even if he drives away after a rough and half an eternity when you ask him? MfG Lars

Instument lighting failed
Moin moin, now I’m on again with a question. Yesterday evening my better half called out from the car and said that the instrument lighting was completely out. Neither Tacho nor DZM or MID, everything dark. The lighting of the ECC works perfectly however. There were no other control lights like battery or MKL or the like. If you turn on the light, the MID becomes dark. Light again, MID again on. The controller at the light switch does not cause any changes. Now please tell me that there is only one fuse burned and where I find it. Unfortunately I did not find it in the fuse box, I am actually sure that I pulled and controlled all fuses, but you can never know it. Nice Tach for the first time Jackson5

I have one in sight but the has run 178 Tkm and I don’t know if and what still needs to be done or what with the time and increasing kilometers of costs and repairs a n/a

Speedster fit for everyday use?
Hello together, I’m so fascinated by the Speedster Turbo that I might want to increase it – but with the everyday fitness still have my concerns. Is the Speedster with its low ground clearance in winter naturally still reasonably mobile and is there any 175er/17-inch winter tires at all? Does any of you drive a Speedster also over winter and what do I have to think about? He naturally offers “no” comfort and little trunk, which for me but no real problem and the consumption would have to be relatively low due to the low weight, there would be no other car with such a good driving performance/price ratio as the Speedster and my “home brand” BMW offers nothing nearly equivalent. The Z4 is already so expensive in the basic version and even the stronger models are not nearly as sporty as a Speedster Turbo due to the high weight. I would be happy if someone from their experiences with the Speedster beric hten could – many thanks to greeting: Alex

current execution for end stage – where?
Day together! I’ve been using Calibra 2.0i for about 3 weeks – as far as I can tell so far, an absolutely brilliant car! (I just wanted to say)… My problem is now – I want to connect a power amplifier in the trunk – where I best do the cable entry for the +Pol (motor room – interior) and where I best clamp the pole in the trunk without having to drill around there if avoidable, etc. Thanks already – it is certainly easier if m search directly in the right place, before you’ve got God-know-what unnecessarily unscrewed… Michael
