  • Omega A 2,0i does not get warm

Hello . I am now with my Omi-Latain at the end and hope someone can give me another tip as I finally get it warm. Have the Omega now for two years and it becomes, neither in summer nor in winter really warm. In summer it just gets beyond blue mark. In winter it is always on cold. Have already changed the thermostat and also the heat exchanger, because I thought that is possible. No improvement. Even if I almost complete the cooler with cardboard Zumache arrives in the interior max. lukewarm air. What can I still check/exchange that it finally gets warm ? I am grateful for every tip Gruss Kai

  • Glow candle torn off

Now it’s done… I changed my glow candles and prepared myself well, however, despite the hot running of the engine and despite creeping oil and permanent pure and turning out of the glow candle on a cylinder I ripped off the candle. It is the candle on the 1st cylinder in the area of the spray wall, to which one got also the worst. Probably the mechanics were last time too lazy to change these !? I assume that the other 3 candles already used I didn’t get the torn candle out far. Guess so 2-3 threaded passages. In any case, the other 3 candles were totally down. Nevertheless, everything seems to be tight… The question is, what should I do here now? Leave everything like this, or turn the candle out with a special tool? Does anyone have experience with the removal of torn candles?

  • Exchange HA damper NivoLift for “normal”

Hello all, I drive an Omega B MV6. With this car the rear shock absorbers are designed with automaic height adjustment. My shock absorbers are defective and have to be replaced – the FOH demands the smallness of 230 € per piece. In the accessory trade I did not find a suitable comparison model. Therefore my questions: – Can I replace the Nivolift dampers without problems against standart dampers or do I also have to adjust the heeling? – Are the original dampers ir gendwo in the accessories trade WITH Nivolift? Thank you! Konstantin

  • Verbauch X20SE

Moin, I need a few reference values, because I find the verb of my X20SE quite interesting: 30 KM Bundesstraße + 4 KM Stadt = ~ 10 L / 100km Short distance to 3 KM = ~ 11 – 12 L / 100 km Does this really come with the engine? Under 10 the colleague is not to be moved and I swim on the Bundesstraße with a maximum of 100 in the flowing traffic. Our passat with its 1.8 107 hp machine needs on average 2.5 – 3 liters less, however, weighs also a little less. Both values without Kli Ma. Greetings, Thorsten

  • What do you think of the golf offer?

Hello guys, I might be looking at this Golf 3 TDI tomorrow:http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=v4yyjwlckogi What do you think about the offer? So from the look, I would guess: 600€ for him to come to the TÜV, then 100€ for small things and then I would have him raise it (what will that cost?). Then the car would be at about 2000-2300€. Do you think that is realistic? Or are the Golf 3 diesel engines somehow vulnerable? From the consumption he would have already ^^ Lappen Edit: Why is that now in the Opel Forum? I have been to the Golf 3 Forum for 91-97 -.- Please move.

  • NWS switched, engine is no longer igniting…

Hello! I had to change the engine of his Omega Caravan for a friend. (X20XEV, Bj 10/95). After the complete installation the engine ran, but the MKL lit up and the engine ran in the emergency program. Now I have read out the error memory, there was the KWS as a cause in it. I changed it for a new part and also the exchange for the part of the old motor did not bring any improvement. Since in the error memory there was no speed signal I have safe First for the old part, then for a new original from Siemens. Now I wanted to start, the starter also turns busy, but it doesn’t seem to ignite at all. It can hardly be that the new part is now also defective. Do you have to learn the new NWS? What else could be the reason that the engine only runs in the emergency program? Must write that I had to change the harness from the KWS to install the KWS from the old engine. The plugs did not fit. together. Ignition module, idle control, throttle valve unit, AGR, NWS and KWS have been exchanged… What’s left? Am really desperate… Many greetings from Steini

  • No Tüv due to wrong load index

Hello together, has someone already made experiences with the tüv because of wrong load index of the matures? I was yesterday with my opel omega 2,5 dti for take-off. I have raised winter tyres with the dimensions 195/65/R15 91T. now the tüv says, no can at all, it must be 195/65/R15 92T. Therefore I did not receive a Tüvplaquet. I checked my documents, but found no hint about it. I can read here that the index 91T/92T is a difference of 15 kg. is e s correct that I did not get a badge, or was the examiner not good at it? Otherwise no faults!!!!! Where can I inquire, I bought the matures last winter, but was not asked for the load index….. would be very grateful for a quick answer, as I should drive tomorrow with the summer tyres to tuv. have a short-term license mark, because the car is not yet admitted. Greeting from Pobelfreak

  • Omega A ; 2.6 i ; Visco coupling

After 4 years I wanted a new visco coupler for the radiator fan. According to the sales company Günther in Kornwestheim, there are no visco couplings, which were manufactured by Behr/Hella, more. Visco couplings are still used mass, among others also at BMW. Does anyone know a suitable spare part number, which can be used instead of GM 90 220 339 or Behr 65.311.00.000 ?? Why are the visco couplings a Ver schleißteil ? For answers I am very grateful and greet all Omega-senator friends! heinzbbg .

  • Change timing belts yourself

Hello Opelfans I know in the SUFU are countless posts concerning the timing belt. I have already read myself a lot, but I still have a question for which I have found no answer. I would like to change the timing belt myself, since I have read very good instructions in the SUFU too. My question concerns the tensioning of the belt.If the strap is tense the arrow of the tensioning roller must stand on the NEW marking. Now I have with a buddy in the Etzold Is that now that I have to span the new ZR after some time??How the rest is done is clear to me, only that with the back tensioning has made me a bit stubborn. By the way: My first omega crap, picture can’t be uploaded
