Hi today I had appointment at the TÜV, everything easy I thought In the morning when I drove the children to the school, I noticed on the snow that my xenon headlights glow in orange. Only left, right is ok. I got headache. Since the appointment in the morning I was driving then immediately PLAKETTE NOT APPLICABLE, significant defects – windscreen wipers damaged back – dipped light: adjustment too high / deep – dipped light: filament lamp defective – standing light defective – fog light fer: Setting / Direction – Fog Headlights: Mounting loose – Marking function defective – Turn signal: Coloured filament lamp omitted – M+S Speed indication missing in the driver’s viewing area – Door left: Catch bath / – hook missing So one can tell me what costs come to me and what can be with the Xenox light. Thank you people .

Hi together. So far I was only a handy reader in this forum, but now I have got a problem with which I need some professional advice. My wife has found today a strange creek at our Omega B Caravan year 2000 2.2-16V 125000 KM. When opening the bonnet I was able to locate the noise closer , it comes from the timing belt cover . It is a grinding noise , which occurs about in a second time and with increase of the engine rotation fence . l just intensified. The timing belt with wapu. and tensioning roller were changed in January of this year ( mileage since 18000 KM) With my noise I then drove to the FOH and asked him for an interim diaknosis, and for an assessment whether I can still drive with the vehicle. The statement, with that can be anything possible ( tensioning roller, water pump, belt cover) I can still let myself, because he has not disassembled the vehicle. But with the statement I can still use the vehicle without hesitation , until workshop appointment in the new year is something to me. As I have read here in the forum many times the timing belt is probably a weak point with this vehicle . Therefore my Fagen I can really use the vehicle without hesitation. I still have warranty spell from the timing belt change from January of this year , if it should be one of these components . Gruss

After the driver’s door no longer opens and closes by remote control, I can no longer open it with the key. What possibilities do I have now to get the driver’s door open again. In two workshops they gave me the tip to remove the interior paneling. (great!!!!!) You don’t get to the screws or anywhere else to solve the paneling. If someone has already had this problem and there is a reasonable reason for it. e Solution for this? Thanks in advance for your tips

Moin,moin for the first time.. My Omega is hungry..er “frisst” KW sensors. Now the 4th this year at a total of about 25,000 km. He got the last one before THREE months and didn’t even hold 10,000 km.. Can it be that the things are not good or does the wear on sensors perhaps have another reason?? The last one was out of the accessories because I needed the car urgently and it had to go quickly… The car now has 177,000 on the clock, is always nice warm driven and hardly scared. The candles are also clean… It regulates at approx.4,000 1/min. and the MKL lights up briefly… Error code is…as always..the 19th. Has anyone ever had similar problems?? (and a few foreign vehicle drivers, which are all known and loaded) and which the place ….. “oppenheim” is already certain…. and which is just voted in the opel-treffenbereich (survey on the date VII. Omega-Senator-meeting 2010 ), which date is taken, for this year’s meeting.??? if not, look at the seni/omi-treffen-thread inside.!!! so enough unfug operated..! please take care…… am just old, ausgenag t and frail…. and in the actual sense, no longer to deal for my temporary failures, or to draw to the responsibility.!!! -a-

Hello guys, I have to call up the topic when I see every day, in the current snow conditions, how many people are on the road, with less sight than a tank driver has through the sight slits. The barrel ran over, as I saw this morning, after heavy snowfall with about 5cm, a roommate, who sat in his car, turned the side windows down about 10cm, ran windshield wipers, ran behind without effect, at the front only half and then left. I wouldn’t be happy anymore if I were to cause an accident under these visual conditions and hurt or kill someone. But since our police prefer to sit in the car than stop such drivers with footstrips or targeted controls, these people know,it doesn’t control, so we can do it. I’m sorry if my contribution is not matched to our Omi`s, but I had to get rid of my frustration. Greetings Dieter

Hello in the country, I was an old moon rider until a lady brought me my Mondi to the scrapping. Now I bought me an Omega 2.0 GL-CD first registration 01.97. Since I could never call an Omega my own I will probably fill you with questions! First question: I had read that all Omega are equipped with TC once; why did I not have a switch to switch off and no control light? – Then my Omega probably does not have that.
