Since I’ve been given the best tips for years, I try, even if I (unfortunately) don’t have an omi at the moment. my 2.2 deci X-Trail (Bj 2006; 60 000km) got new injection nozzles 5 months ago. (All 4) Reason: Bosch has measured too high injection quantities. Since a few weeks “knock, nail” in cold operation. Now motor disassembled: Piston OK, bushing OK, but: Some valves are, so to speak, slightly bent, have impact marks at the edges (4 out of 16). One particularly strong i m 3. Cylinder. The workshop denies a connection between the replaced injection nozzles and the current damage. (It would be a guarantee for the first repair) But since not ALL valves on one side have the damage, it can only be at the appropriate times. I therefore exclude a mechanical damage, except the tipping levers have got something, but why then only from few valves? The decisive question is: Can wrong injection (Men) Injectors cause the piston to reach the valves at a time when they are not completely closed? I would be more than grateful for tips and hints.

Installation of alarm system, cable routing
Hello, I have an alarm system, with signal horn, 2 ultrasonic sensors plus control unit, connection monitoring for door, trunk, etc. I don’t necessarily want to drive the ZV and the starter to save work. It’s just about preventing someone from touching the car 🙂 My questions: 1.) I want to mount the signal horn (with integrated alarm control) in the engine compartment, but how do I go into the interior with all the cable tones. Is there a “hole” somewhere in the interior 2.) It is enough for my purposes to activate only the ultrasonic sensors in order to trigger the alarm, right? Or should I necessarily also connect the interior lighting? 3.) To display the alarm, the flashers also have to be connected. Do I close the intended cable directly to the indicator stick on the handlebar wheel or should I take the mega-long way back to the light bulb? The cable is no longer available. t very long.

Spare parts prices
Hello dear engine talk community! As a driver of a relatively rare car (Opel GT K/R) you are used to the fact that the prices of spare parts were often quite … imaginatively calculated. But what happened to me now is simply the hammer!! I want to change the transmission oil and therefore go to the friendly Opel dealer to get the necessary sealing rings for outlet and filling screw (can be nothing wild, are only small things). On the other hand, the price literally catapulted me out of the door: Adam Opel AG would like to search for an aluminium seal ring (see picture), which is available for about 6-10 cents outside, say and write 56 euros!! (If you don’t believe it, just do your own research: part number 89048245) I wrote a friendly letter to Adam Opel AG (see appendix). I was curious if a meaningful answer was actually written. or just a form letter comes… I’ll keep you up to date! I then got the necessary sealing rings via another GT driver who imported the parts directly from USA. (Before now some start “Then buy somewhere else!”, “Self to blame, what was driving so much prolcarry” and similar friendlinesss: I like the car, I’ve already got many, many parts from various FOHs, even if the prices often gnashing with the teeth, but that’s what I’m looking for. Has something like this happened to you before?

Conversion window
Hello, I am just thinking of replacing the windows of the hatch doors with the conversion windows of the company Alpincamper. These are available in 2 versions: *Set 1: for installation in a specialist workshop (recommended by the manufacturer) *Set 2: for self-installation see https://www.alpincamper.de/current or short video at https://www.facebook.com/…/?… For my consideration, I have 2 questions: 1. What do you think the installation in a specialist workshop will cost? 2. Would you like this in a or would you let this be done in a “free” way?

Underbody sealing / cavity sealing Toyota Proace Verso Executive
Moin, since the underbody sealing at the Proace Verso (as with the T 6.1 and others) is expandable, I intend to have an underbody and cavity sealing carried out directly after delivery of the new vehicle by the specialist workshop. Is there any experience with this measure, perhaps even long-term experience? I would also be interested in finding out about possible procedures and prices. Thank you and best regards! Henri
