Hello together, have the following problem at my omi. Last night on the way home I noticed that the xenons are much higher than usual. I stopped and looked if an ALWR sensor might have hung out, but everything was ok. Also the engine turned off and on again. The headlights both remained much too high. I then drove on to endanger nobody with the fog. This morning then looked at the FOH to test the ALWR. The result but the headlights were both much too high. If he then tried to turn down manually, but according to him only went with the left headlight, the right one would not be able to be adjusted anymore, would probably be defective and would have to be replaced. To my question why the headlights were still normal on Sunday and now were at once much too high, he had no answer, the ALWR is usually.. In the middle position with both sensor levers nothing at all, e So at approx. 30° rash from the middle position of the lever up or down in the area of approx. 1cm the headlights move then times. What is going on, is that now normal?? Are both sensors defective or spins the control unit. There is also no error shown in the MID. BC problem automatic
Hello my Ome spins again the BC show me on automatic transmission and it drives again bad but always only the first gear pulls shit without noises on the automatic transmission. It was made: new air volume meter, new spark plugs, new ignition cable, oil change. To make is still curvature seal passenger side!!! Is ordered. Car runs round at first and then it loses speed and drops from 1200U. to 500U., can you help me soon with the dare.

Strange noise after starting help!!!!!!!
Hello dear omega friends I’ve been having a very strange noise for quite some time after starting the engine (2.5V6 bj 2000FL) you could compare it with the noise of a turbine a very high tone of the after menigen min or sec. stops again depending on what are outside for temp.. Could that be the light mesh? How is that with your 6 change? It is really very annoying because I live in a residential area and tomorrow very early leave the house. Furthermore I would like to know if the exhaust system at the V6 Limo is the same as with the caravan there is a change with me and in the bay only caravan is there. I am very grateful for your help.

So yesterday the ATF changed and it didn’t look good, the magnet was full of mud but only fine chips available!,atf was not dark or black,the sieve was also full,everything was flushed and cleaned filled as it should be plus brake band set!,everything together made trial drive and Zack 3500turning. Automatic gearbox back in emergency run!?!, Have so slowly the sneeze full,I think he goes into the press,or if anyone finds himself he can have it there The coach still really good is!,but who wants to have the already a MV6??,I like it but have zero bucks more on it!.AT exchange?yes but if it funzes then?I don’t know what to do anymore!.,

El. Height adjustment at the rear of the driving seat is no longer possible
A friendly hello to all the screwdrivers. I just got my Omega a week and already the first problem ( great).. Since the seats are electric and the height adjustment at the rear is not possible at the driving seat I wanted to ask if it is possible to do this manually. Height adjustment at the front goes perfectly. I could pull up a hat and still have room to the ceiling. Since I do not necessarily want to buy a new seat it would be great if you bring the also manually back up I am grateful for every suggestion. Have a nice weekend to everyone.

R25 transmission in Omega B 3.0l MV6
Hello, have a question to the experts! I used the forum search, but found nothing suitable. Would like to know if the R25 manual transmission from the 2.5L Omega B, fits in a 3L MV6 (automatic) or if only the R28 manual transmission comes into question. Immobiliser
Hello again. My “wife” has now also bought a omi (2.0 – 16 V – Bj 1996) However, I have a problem with the immobilizer… Sometimes he starts normal and then not again. If he does NOT start the MKL flashes sometimes. We have had him read out already, but we were also told only one mistake with the immobilizer. But it also seems to me that a new steering wheel with also new steering stick levers is installed. was – the car definitely had no accident (airbag) and also no departure. Problem of heating + pre-glowing
Hello, 2 years ago I had the standard installed 3 kW heater upgraded to a Eberspächer stand heating system with radio remote control. Also works well with one restriction: The 2.5 DTI glows only if it is really cold, so from 0°C down. If it has a few minus degrees now at night and the engine is an ice block AND the heater is running, the engine does not glow before after the ignition is switched on and the engine is logically difficult. If I don’t run the heater at the same temperatures in the morning, it glows normally about 3s (lamp lights up in the dashboard) and the engine starts quite easily. The heater has been installed by the Bosch service and the master has been intensively occupied with the system but thinks that there is no electronic connection between the heater and the pre-glow system. It is probably the case that the engine cooling circuit is secondary also with pre-warmed wi rd with the water from the return from the heating circuit. But that is not enough by far to “defroze” the engine, that it starts well without pre-glowing. Somewhere the pre-glow system gets the information that the engine is warm, but it is not yet. Does anyone have an idea where it is or what could be changed? The problem, by the way, exists from the beginning, but I have always ignored it until now. Greetings OmiBausRW

Goodbye Omega A Caravan!
Hello omega riders and fans! I think it’s time. We will separate ourselves from our faithful, though 20.5 years old) companion after 5.5 years and 273,000 km (self driven: 140 tkm). We have been offered a Vectra B Caravan. this is not only considerably younger (almost 10 years) but has also seen a lot less from the world. However, we will miss the fabulous size of the Omega A Caravan. The Vectra is smaller, especially the trunk is not so big anymore. (The Omi doesn’t have a boot but: storage room ). Should any of you look for an Omi for the winter he will still be driven by us. Coupling wheel bearing HiRe 2008 new, heating operating part, shock absorber rear, brake hoses rear Wapu + timing belts 2007 new. Tüv + Au still until 9/09. Of course he also has defects.
