Hi, have an appointment with the Tüv at the end of the next week! The setting of the hand brake is no problem but! how can I easily get the new hand brake rope installed? (exhaust cardan shaft?) do I get that way or do I have to dismantle something? Thanks already Steff Ps: Discs, pads Bremsbacken as well as springs are immediately renewed.

Hello together! I have the following problem: after a turbocharger damage, the oil was pulled into the suction bridge. Then I replaced the turbocharger, charge air cooler and all pipes and cleaned the intake bridge. Now it squirts quite strongly from the exhaust (WEIß) Now I don’t know what to do, have already run it a few times, but don’t want to break anything! Can someone help me? I am grateful about every advice!

The engine had the problem so far, that it sprang in cold “state” after the preliminary annealing without problems and with a working warm engine for ever he used to sprang up and then he ran. Meanwhile he has his problem with jumping even after the preliminary annealing and sometimes he jumps on but goes off again about 1-2seconds after the jump or goes out partly when I let him roll out and brake off. And the day before yesterday it was time, I stood with the car in the middle of the Stadtz I didn’t want to go home again, but I made the calculation without the Omega. It was still a little warm (it didn’t glow accordingly), then I let him laugh for a while as always, when he still didn’t jump in after about 15-20 seconds, I interrupted, waited briefly and then tried again and did nothing again. Then I tried it a third time and then gave up the battery. So I called the ADAC and started to do it again. When he came after more than an hour he connected his “start-up device”, waited something for the battery to regenerate a little and tried to start the car. Then he jumped again willingly. Then my friend called in the workshop, were even more unfriendly to him and on because of that I decided to get the car away from there and if I had to push the just over 1.8tons across BS once. Suddenly the Omega then somehow jumped on. Next week he gets a new battery but nevertheless I drive also almost 300km to nem FOH where I was already a few times with my old Mazda and my mother brings her Vectra there if he has something. Because something can definitely not be right about the engine. The ADAC soon suspects one of the many sensors and signaling devices on the engine and that the control unit gets a wrong signal.

Where do I find out which ABS control unit fits with me?Should I give some different notes that my predecessor has removed it…that’s why the speedometer and the odometer as well as the TC don’t seem to work anymore…and don’t stop the ABS

Hello Leutz, I would have asked a few questions about coolers! I don’t have the A Omega 2L Bj 91. Water cooler was broken, so I bought the scrap metal – for the Fuffi. Jetz is also broken against me and can only get the water cooler without a balance tank! Can I use the one with…. Can I also install the other one?? Should still work, because the dimensions and connections are the same. – I think ^^- Only the balance tank would be clamped off… but that would be with the cooler then anyway unw ichtig!!?????? Would be nice if you could tell me if it really works… I am grateful for every tip!!!! Why were the Omegas built from 93 without compensation tanks……? The question is not so important, but would interest me nevertheless!!! Thanks already to all Gruss Jens

Hi Leutz, now that my Omi hasn’t done much bitching for the last 15 months, he gives it to me now 🙁 Omega A, 2.0l, 8V, first series, ORIGINAL 112tkm Friday off, everything normal. This morning in, trying to start, everything normal, only the engine gives no sign of life! Organt quite normal (battery was good), but no sign that there is any explosion happening somewhere. Luckily, my wife didn’t need her car ;-). This evening then immediately the usual suspect the gas pump relay, and with the adapter cable the three thick plugs bridged. Gasoline pump ran already once, you can hear, but he didn’t jump on. So tomorrow with the motorcycle to work :-(, woman needs her car tomorrow, unfortunately. My next step would be to hang the fuel hose at the front of the pump and see if really fuel comes (some tips where best?). Next, see if he also ignites (kerze out). Had something else at Christmas so what hot tips would you have as next steps?? gruss, pierre PS: please, if I only screw around the thing the next few days, the Christmas peace at home is strongly endangered, so, every tip I don’t have to disassemble the whole cart is helpful! 🙂 🙂

Today I picked up my 2.2 l Facer Caravan , after installation of a Prins VSI 2 from the retrofitter. Conversion has been done very well, there was nothing to complain about. after the first 100Km I was surprised car ran flawlessly. A performance loss was not to be noticed,if at all,very low. Hope it stays that way.
