What I plan to do: change the AR25 DG transmission to an AR25 BD with my 2.0l 8v caravan. The gearbox is already at home and has to be prepared now, i.e. sealed. In addition, of course, it gets a new filter. The filter/sealing set has already been ordered and also a new radial sealing ring for the gear shaft and a new simmering on the oil pump has been ordered. I have now ordered the “new” G I will use the converter from the old gearbox, if it has not entered. I would have a few questions to the experts: 1.) I also have to convert the oil pipes from the old to the new gearbox, since the two lines were squeezed during transport (see pictures) and I fear there is too little oil going to the cooler. What do you think? A pipe – is attached to a hollow screw I think and the other My question is whether I need gaskets or something like this with these connections. 2.) Question: Do I have something else important to forget? Do I have to renew the 3 Torx screws with which the cardan shaft is flanged? These should be de-screws. And the converter screws? Have you read where to fix them with screw glue. Is this necessary? and the 3rd and most important question: WO to the vulture has the 8v the engine suspension??? It would be woh l advisable to hang the engine from above with harnesses or something like that so that it doesn’t fall on my head, but I’m too stupid and can’t find a bracket or anything like that. Where can I rest the harnesses on the engine without engine suspension, or is it too well hidden for me? Can I support it from below as an alternative, like oil pan? Please forgive me, that’s my first gear change, but it’s pulled through, it’s at all costs! lg blescha

Omega B engine replacement…how??
Hello together. Got delivered today the Omega of an acquaintance. Crank housing has a beautiful hole. Now there is a motor replacement. At a Vectra with ecotec machine I am just in the last trains, it was very tight. At the Omega B with ecotec engine seems to me to be more space. Only here you can not get to the wiring and gear screws on the spray wall. Has someone ever removed a 2liter ecotec motor from an Omega B and if so how? Motor Getr Is it complete? Up or down? I would be very happy about reviews. Thank you in advance and many greetings from Steini

Need help with Xenon bze. autom. Luminous range regulation?
Hello! I drive an Omega Caravan Sport 2.5TD EZ. 08.2000. I am really very satisfied with the Omega (apart from the Navi and the CID, which I am sending today to repair) however, as for the Xenon some fraga arise: With nem Vectra B and some other vehicles with Xenon I know that the headlights first “run down” a little and then adjust themselves to the loading accordingly and the Omega does not do that, is that normal? I have so the Feeling that the automatic light range regulation only sporadically works and yesterday the Omega broke for the first time a message in the color info display but then not again. I had the headlights adjusted last week and after that the light was no longer “clamped” directly in front of the car and only on the floor but it lit up and it then became as I know it from other cars traffic signs and posts intensively illuminated and now I have the feeling that it’s turned down again? Does someone know what this box or much more is missing from the stupid Xenon? Hope I can be helped by anyone, because those at Opel are unfortunately too stupid – and you can’t ask about the 2.5TD either, especially if they’re missing something

Which Big Lima fits in my OmegaA 2.0i?
Hello dear community. I wanted to ask here which alternator/s would be suitable for my Omega A 2.0i C20NE engine ? the following problem : I currently own a 55Ah Lima. But this is VERY too weak for my batteries. Now I have seen “only” a 100A Lima at Ebay for the OmegaA. So that would be the biggest for my Omega. 100A is not enough for me. Thanks to “old bag” here in the forum, I get support from him by building me 2 alternators. But now I can’t start with 2x65Ah Limas or anything like that. ( Just for the biggest need and only temporarily). But now I saw for the Omega B Limas, from Bosch, the 120A deliver. Would the Omega B also fit in with me? If not, from which car manufacturer/model, would still Limas fit into my vehicle? A colleague drives a polo, there e.g. from the Vw Touran ne 150A lima fit in. Are there such options for my Omega A too? Vehicle data : Omega A Caravan 2.0i 116 Ps, 85kw Motor : C20NE Year of manufacture : 08/1993. Hope you can help me. Dear greetings and thank you in advance. Norbert

Question on the “two-stage” passing beam
Moin I have noticed it often and in the last few days I have taken care of it quite consciously: When I start my car in the evening and turn on the light immediately afterwards, both lamps shine – however in a lower intensity. After about 20 seconds the light suddenly becomes brighter (at first I thought my fog lights would turn on – but that’s not the case) and then stays like that. I mean, that’s only the way it is after a longer service life. It bothers me in the G However, I would still be interested in whether this might even be a standard condition and if so, why do you do it. And if not, what might be the cause. Thank you very much.

Charging air cooler fan broken = thermal problems?
Hello Omeganer, since I am still not rid of my thermal problems I wanted to ask which consequences an unusual fan from the charging air cooler has? Does this actually affect the engine temperature so extreme that the normal cooler no longer follows? Oh yes, the LLK is in driving direction right, on the left I also discovered a cooler – which function does it have? Thanks as always in advance. Greeting Josh

Set track
Hi guys, the topic has been mentioned several times. I’m only concerned, can one have such a thing done with the Red 3 letters ?? They have at the moment a favorable offer. Or rather go to a decent tire dealer and pay a pair of Öhre more. A table because of the preload I will take with me for safety.

Crack – where does it come from?
Hello all, I have light oil with my Omega and meanwhile also cooling water loss again… Cooling water only minimal but still I have to refill 100ml after approx. 1000km. I had tried a cooler sealant at that time – for a time there was no loss to detect now again approx. 100ml to 1000km. Oil loss… I control 1x per week… mostly Sundays… in the last weeks I drove about 100km per week and then had to refill approx. 100ml. The oil loss and cooling water loss I could not locate until today. Containers and all hoses incl. radiators are apparently dense. Oil can be seen at the engine at the bottom of the transmission… is so about half covered with oil. During the drive I have when the engine is warm driven often a slight smell in the car of burnt oil… Exhaust gases are but normal – it does not burn the oil in the engine. So, and when the engine is warm and I turn it off I always hear such a “knister” in the engine compartment – sounds like you’re frying something… just a little bit quieter just… and today I could see that this noise comes clearly from the area where the thick cooler hose is on the engine, right below is the cracker and its cover. Has anyone already experienced similar things? Where is the error? I couldn’t detect any water leak on the hose…but it has deut “knistert”… many oil on the cracker that somehow gets there by VDD? But could not find an oil leak at the point… Does anyone have an idea?
