The clutch of my 20-year-old Omegas seems to give up the spirit soon. Well, I’m not quite sure because especially at temperatures of -6° the gears are very difficult to insert. Even in neutral position, the formwork lever is difficult to move. That points to the gearbox. Now I’m not sure if only the clutch or the whole gearbox should be changed. With my 2.4i I already had the clutch changed. could you change the gearbox and the clutch yourself if you don’t have any experience with it yet? Does the gearbox of a 91er fit in my 88er c20ne?

Electrical problem?
Hello, after I had the problem this week to get my car on due to empty battery I have a new problem. The battery was completely empty.. So bridged up and so on etc. Now I noticed that the automatic of the windows no longer works. After that my thermo problem was finally gone. 200 EUR for the new cooler, 21 EUR for the water pump. mpe with aluminium shovel wheel. After both was new, I could finally drive full throttle again with temperatures around 94°, without loss of power on the mountain. Then the differential was broken, as in another thread wrote. After the new Diff it felt at 180 km/h, as if someone was taking the gas away. But at least without noises. This morning I drove to work quite normally, parked the car muzzle ahead on the mountain. About 20 liters in the tank. After work the car jumped d I had to get the ADAC. No diesel arrived. Assuming the 20 l problem, we dropped 5 l diesel, without success. With the start pilot it was noticed that the car wanted to start, but then it did not. The relays were already pushed, but they also did not attract better. My plan is the following: – Recharge battery. – Recharge 10 litres of diesel. – Then the 20 l problem should either have been solved.
