Hi, I just drove about 30km from time to time slightly pressed. Now I turned it off and determined the smoke from the direction of the engine compartment ascends. I immediately looked again at temp. but the fit was fit 90° engine block was also pully “cool” and otherwise I could not find anything further. Engine oil fits. Maybe has an idea on what it can be? Or does anyone have tips for me? He has to come to the TÜV next month can’t last for me that there still big reperatures come… MfG black_head

Ventilation – at first everything great, then fogged disks
Hello dear members of the forum, a lot has already been written about the topic of ventilation at the Omega. However, I am faced with a problem which also causes perplexity among the experts of Opel: After the start of my Omega B, 2.2 the heating works as desired. All windows are free, the room temperature corresponds to the pre-selected temperature (air conditioning automatic). However, if the vehicle is then parked and driven again after about 30 minutes, such as after a purchase, After a short period of time, the discs are very heavy. There is nothing to do with ventilation at the highest level…. The same happens even after continuous driving, about 60 minutes after the start of the journey. Everything has already been checked with Opel: processes, actuators, ventilation valves, control electronics etc. No errors can be detected. Does anyone know a similar problem or even advice? Thanks in advance

Who else has Omi parts in Berlin?
I had an annoying roll splinter ride today. First it was smooth, then Rollsplitt came and then bad luck. Even 30kmh is in side roads then too fast. That’s why it is necessary as quickly as possible – in the greater Berlin area – a left fender, left inner fender, possibly the front bumper and a left spring leg. Is someone just at the battle, has still something at home, or does anyone in the area have anything else? The company car must be as fast as possible. Ieder run. Info ́s please via PN… Thank you Kurt from Berlin

Timing belts torn… grrrrrrrrr…
My companyomi has made a graffiti. The timing belt is torn and (how else should it be) all 8 inlet valves crooked ! Such a crap, I thought -machste soon when there is air – now it has torn him. Does one in Berlin or surroundings still have a X20XEV in the basement / garage, or at least a healing head? The Schrottis here are bitten by madness 650 € for a 94ger XEV from nem Vectra. Isn’t it the possibility. they should not give, since then the engine is not for sale, so their arguments. So please get the fastest message, if somewhere else an X20XEV or a suitable intact head dusts. The omi should do service again tomorrow…. Please message via PN. Thanks already in advance,

Tacho failure
Hello, I’ve had a problem for some time: If the ride is off, the speedometer stops at zero km/h but everything is available, engine runs and car drives normally. Then the “TC” people and the “ABS” light are on and cruise control is not usable. What could this be about? After a few minutes everything works again.

2.5 V6 or rather 16V… What can you advise me to do?
Hello municipality I have now converted to Opel again and have to buy an Omega B. Only I don’t know which engine to consider, in any case this will run with LPG. I think more of the 2.5 V6. What do you think of the engine in terms of robustness? Does this have a control chain or belt? How does it look with insurance? Is it higher rated like the 16V? MV6 is also something fancy but you see so many engine damages to sell at Mobile and co, d As deterred. Insurance won’t be affordable either. Thanks for your tips

Difference 3000 and 3000 24v
As the title suggests, I would like to ask the differences between the Omega 3000 and the 3000 24V here. I mean the differences that are not obvious. e.g. the brakes are the same as the difference between the drive train (gear/diff/back axle) If the car series is the same, the engine bearings, etc. actually everything you have to pay attention to to make a 3000 24v out of a normal 3000. As far as the car. Then the question about the papers. in the papers, that it is a 24v? Or is there only the higher engine power from which you have to deduce it. Just as on the outside of the car, there is an extra lettering on the 24v, so that you can see immediately with which model you have to deal with. Is there a 3000 24v with bj. 87 at all? And last but not least, what about an H registration, if you have made a 3000 24v from a 3000? After all, with a bj.87 it would be already in 5 years.

Probably KWS and other problem
Hello, I’m new here in this forum and since the proud owner of an Omega B 2.0 16V Caravan EZ 08/99. I bought the naturally used one. Timing belts were changed / oil change and TÜV/HU new. When I had the first time parked and wanted to start again after 3 min, he hit the MKL a little bit and made out the engine with caution. Since I could not stop there I started the engine again after a short time and ran without problems. Now is nat normal before I start the engine constantly the MKL. After the start you go out immediately and are not really problems to recognize. The typical stand gas problems it has only very rarely and it has not gone out yet. Does only very rarely happen that the speed goes times under 500. I will still get to the clean up .. Now the MKL lights up regularly before the start. Does this mean that only one error is saved or is the error still present? Can you keep this in mind? I don’t have a manual there. Which lamps should all light up before the start after the self-check has run through. E.g. the oil lamp lights before the start. after the start it goes out. Is this normal? Does anyone possibly have a manual in digital form or does anyone come from near Rostock? Many thanks for your answers in advance. Are there certain more questions aso .. of course have read out the error 0335 and also used the search function. Unfortunately did not answer my questions.
