Hello, I own an Opel Omega B Caravan with CD equipment, BJ 1998 with 111000KM and automatic transmission, engine is 2.0 16v. I just wanted to ask because my wife is released in 2 months and a baby is waiting if I have to pay attention to anything in the car. Can you turn off the passenger airback or do you have to take anything off or consider when transporting the baby? Mfg and best thanks in advance Mark

CHiptuning on diesel ???
Hello. I drive an Omega 2.2 DTI from 2001 and am already thinking all the time about whether I’m doing a chip tuning with him or not. I’ve actually informed myself quite well about it and know “grob”. Unfortunately, it seems to me that I’ve got too much information about it, get opinions from friends and from “experts” so that I’m more or less back at the beginning. Angote is enough for this and the prices for it range from about 500 € to over 1500 €. On DSF at Tuning TV also came a report about DTE Systems but unfortunately I only saw half of it. So if I had an opinion or a advice I would be happy to read it. mfg

A praise to the forum
first of all I would like to say hello. I have read many articles, find the forum really great and have registered now. So far I had all inspections, repairs also made TÜV / ASU with my FOH. After the last workshop visit with annual inspection, TÜV and ASU cost 1491 Euro, I was very angry. Because due to faulty work of my FOH ́s a TÜV inspection had to take place. That is why I now do a lot of work myself. Thanks to the competence, the know-how and the instructions of this forum I have already done some repairs successfully: – read out engine code, – renew camshaft sensor, (didn’t know before that there was such a thing) – change lighting of the climate automatic, etc. Maybe I can also contribute a contribution. Anyway a friendly GLÜCK and so on, the generality needs you!

Who’s got the first one?
HI Leutz. Now I would like to know after almost every second one complains about the cracker at the B who actually drives with the first one or who has no probs at all with his Ommi. Would also be interesting to learn about what it is for an Ommi with you. So now everyone here may scream at greeting Manuel

My Omega is sick!
Oh oh, today was a black day for me and my Omega ! Actually everything started well, had an appointment today for the installation of my WEITEC suspension and for the assembly of my new rims, had also looked forward to all this rieisg, but then the fitter approached me, and said: Come have a look… 1. Cross handlebar bushings knocked out 2. Rust at the front traverse 3. Oil loss at the gear 4. Oil loss at the differential 5. Level regulation defective ( now clamped due to FW ) 6. Hand brake rope b damage 7. On the apron at the front, the paint on the decorative strips dissolves everywhere What I had already noticed is that the climate compressor site is not running, the vulture knows why. I will probably talk to my FOH on Wednesday when I give the car for inspection, because I am still in the warranty period. What is surprising, I have noted in the purchase contract a climate maintenance as pre-sale performance, but they did not make any ?? What the FOH says to the rest, kei n plan. Since I dared, I’ve been driving a kangaroo of 15000 KM, and so far I’ve been in the workshop 6 times to get something repaired, now it really pisses me off. What would you say to the FOH, how would you react, or even argue?? Give me some advice!

A few problems
Hello omega friends, I have a few problems with my omega (after it ran for 6 months without a problem). Problem 1: I think the good old idle problem (after 12 hours at work starts to spin at the LL first between 800 and 1800 rpm, at the traffic lights fluctuating from 400-700 rpm (where the engine does not run out). I have already looked at some posts in the forum, how do I make it, but where is the thing and how does it look?? problem 2: Every time I turn on the heating for windscreen wash nozzles, rear window and outside mirror (it’s just a button), my radio reception disappears to 0, nix nada. The problem has only been around for about 2 weeks. problem 3: When I drive the temperature I set at my automatic air conditioning system perfectly. -but as soon as I stand or lower my speed to less than 20 km/h, there is no problem. c still about 18°C cold air out of the nozzles. Problem 4: My windscreen wash nozzles do not go anymore, all sloppy are fine and pump sounds exactly as always. (The back the WiWa does not work doesn’t bother me, but the now still still in front WiWa is really a big problem. So, these are my “KLEIN” problems. Maybe we can give me some little tips. MfG greets the Buddha P.S.: I have a picture of the engine room run from another post Villeicht can describe this picture to me or make an arrow where the LLR is.

Vote for Insignia & (Your) Opinions…
(I hope I’m posting right here.) Here’s a vote CLICK HERE It’s only 600 and ‘n’ a few people who have been crushed but the result can be seen! Your opinion Should the Insignia go into series production? Absolutely. That would easily put Audi, Mercedes and BMW in the bag! Rather not. A classic omega successor would already be enough. No. An expensive game game! Opel should focus on the core business! —————————————————— ———————————————————————- So I find the Insignia really good will not afford it to me *if* it really comes, but it could be successful! If you look at Google you can find almost exclusively positive opinions! The signum is unfortunately only insulted by many as inflated Astra. (Has my buddy told me who works in a OPEL branch.) You can not attach that to the Insignia EDIT: Here a P http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-1.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-3.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-4.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-7.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-6.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-9.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-10.jpg http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/large/1749-11.jpg

Engine clacks like a diesel when it’s cold!!Help!!
I have an Omega Caravan 2.0 16V Built 95. The engine clacks when it is cold like a diesel, but only the first 2 to 3 kilometers, then the noise disappears, and the engine runs quite normal! The previous owner has said, it would have always been like this, and I should not worry about it, but somehow that can not be normal, right???Has someone villeicht an idea what that could be??? Thank you Frank
