  • Calibra good choice?

Hello dear Calibra Forum, I would like to buy a new car and now my choice has fallen on an Opel Calibra with 116 hp. Since my budget is limited I don’t want to spend any more like 4500 EUR for it, which is probably one of the so about the 100 000 km already has. Before I venture this step, however, I would like to ask you for help to answer a few questions, because I am very unscathed in this area. – Since you are satisfied with your Calibra or you would not have any buy more? – What does your Calibra (116 HP ́ler) consume on average at 100km? – What should I take into account when buying one? (certain year of construction….. ) – What insurance would you recommend to me with a Calibra (with an approximate value of 4500 euros)?Complete, partial cassock, only liability? Would you really be very grateful if you could help me with some answers. LG Danni

  • Knock Knock, may I…

.. come in Have found a Calibra after about 4 months of search *to be very proud * had been a stranger almost with a Senator B or Omega, I have already wandered the eye on Mazda and then he came. Genuine 94000km, TÜV (Pickerl) Brand new without defects, except for loss of liquid. Birthday is 1990 Well maintained condition, except on the outside a few scratches, which is not bad. And the most important, rust-free color is Starsilver, otherwise standard equipment, with uncaputable C20 NE Motor. Car was a summer car and only knew the garage over winter. I will pick up the car tomorrow, can’t wait. So from today on I’ll always be annoying with you in Califorum My Astra F will then be demoted as a winter car.

  • Long term car Calibra ?

Hello Cali Forum I have a few technical questions about Calibra. Since I like the car relatively well I have made myself here around forum once clever and read various threads to the engines C20ne, C20xe, C20let etc. Just like purchase advice etc. everything quite great. But what if you want to drive the car longer? So 5 years and upwards? Does this keep Cali still, or are there the costs also bearable? 20,000km annual driving performance. Since the Cali the technology of the A Vectra ha t is actually all problem-free to make from wear parts and maintenance parts also relatively cheap or? Does then still pay out of n Cali nowadays for everyday life or should one only receive such a car as “cultural goods”. Is a Super Car Would I be happy about feedback vg

  • Wheel bearings broken?

Dear Omega specialists, here is my first problem description: from about 45 km/h onwards, there is a slight noise from the rear, which becomes louder at a higher speed and cannot be overheard at 80 km/h. It is even (no beating or cracking) and independent of giving and taking the gas and disappears only in right-hand curves. On the right wheel, there are significantly higher running noises to be heard on the right wheel. I don’t notice any game on both wheels. I don’t notice any game on the right wheel, and I don’t notice any game on the left wheel. I don’t notice any game on both wheels when you hit the rear wheels on the top or side of the car. And now my question to you: What’s broken? I don’t really believe that the right rear wheel bearing is defective, because the car only ran about 55,000 km. According to Mr. Korp in “Now I’m helping m ir selbst” hold the rear bearings about 150,000 km, which corresponds to my experience with x previous (cheap) cars. Mr. Etzold will also be this view, because he says almost nothing to the rear wheel bearing. For answers, references to other possible defects and tips for precise error detection I would be grateful to you, Kurt

  • WAPU defective……

Hi, after which the cause of my water loss was found, I would be interested to know how long the WaPu is taking part, I already get a new one delivered (manufacturer’s warranty), but I can hear such an unpleasant grind in the engine room, which gets louder every day. Can the WaPu take a few more kilometers, or rather not drive any more, I mean not a world trip, but you what is absolutely necessary.

  • Agila A AGR valve

Again – now in the right forum, I would like to apologize for the first mistake… so again.. Hello, with my agila a lights up and extinguishes the mkl sporadically, in damp weather more. Error selection says agr valve. My question, can you change it as not profi itself and must the cool water out for that? Thank you! For this Klemmi1997 already wrote: Quotation: Klemmi1997 Klemmi1997 Seat @lupo44 I mean that he does not have an AGR cooler. Yes you can change it yourself. Then remove the 2 to 3 screws and plug the plug off and remove the AGR including seal. Then clean the installation point with brake cleaner and clean it. Use the new seal on it and if available use the new screws and screw them down. Then reconnect the plug and turn on the ignition for 30 sec. And turn off again for 20 sec. Then start the engine. And you ended up in the Opel Adam Forum. Greeting Klemmi1997

  • Problems after tank replacement

The Opel Agila first registration 2005, 59KW petroler has a problem: the tank was replaced 1 year ago, after that it slowly started to “spin” – i.e. when refueling the fuel came back again and again, even if the tank was quite empty and after some time another problem came up: There and again it does not absorb any gas, occasionally the engine also dies off. Apparently the problem occurs only with warm engine and warm / hot outside temperature.. In cool weather. Also the e Fuel display has their problems again.. The technician seems to be at a loss at the moment, especially since the problem has not yet occurred with him… or the leakage of the fuel has to do with the “ventilation”… But he will look at this again next week..

  • X20XEV vs. C20NE

Just wanted to report about a little battel between my X20XEV and a buddy of mine with his C20NE. So we were together on the highway … when the track was released (starting from 100 km/h) we both gave full throttle. To my surprise he managed to actually pull it past me at snail speed. However, at about 180 km/h my Cali became stronger and I pulled back at the absolute snail speed by him. Now I was able to settle down cht really … according to my speedometer we were at 220 km/h and actually absolutely immediately fast. On the way back and thus with really driven cars he managed then not to come by, however I really took forever to get away a bit from it. I didn’t think that my 136 hp automatic has to fight so with a 115 hp switch. Now to my defense I have to say that my buddy has his Cail already much longer and he is also used to it fa In addition, thanks to my much better equipment more than 100 kg. But nevertheless respect … the 1,9 TDI golfs are very small in the rearview mirror faster! *g* Calimero
