Hi ! I probably wanted to sound my Omega B with disc foil soon. Now I wanted to take either black foil (midnight reflex) (because it fits just well because of the optics) or hold the Chromolux from Foliatec. Now I have a few questions: How well do you see from the inside still with the Midnight reflex out or how dark it gets. I think about things like shoulder look, because I don’t want to endanger my safety. And then another question: How does the Chromolux look like? in real. on the homepage of Foliatec you don’t see that so great. Maybe some people who made their car with the kind of foil can put in a picture. It doesn’t have to be from nem Opel 😉 But an Omega B Caravan would not be bad for comparison already. Best still in royal blue. The color has mine ! Thanks ! Greeting Karleugen

Petrol pump in the tank!!!
Betr. Petrol pump mounted in the tank at the OPEL Omega. Hello,. I drive an Opel Omega A 2.6i. Unfortunately the petrol pump broke. I got a new, original (Bosch 220.-€), and my brother-in-law, car fitter, changed it to me. The petrol pump is in the tank for all Omegas from 1988. For power supply (12V DC) two wires are soldered directly to the open (and bare) soldering flags of the petrol pump. My question: Why can the petrol pump with open, bare voltage leading contact petrol is easily flammable, and yet it also develops explosive attenuations! Can nothing happen there? Probably not, because millions of such vehicles are registered. But why does nothing happen there, that doesn’t make sense to me. Especially when the tank is empty, it is still attenuating itself? And a cable break can always happen, and that also creates an arc of light. Maybe someone can explain this to me. Since I learned how the petrol pump is installed there, I have a strange feeling when driving a car. Thank you very much in advance, with kind greeting, Beny

Omega B 2.5 V6 Top speed???
Hello, wanted to ask all 2.5 V6 drivers what yours is so high speed??? I have an Omega B 2.5 V6 with automatic transmission, and on paper is 218 km/h top speed!!! So far I have not managed to test him out what he brings on the highway. Colleague of me had a Vectra A 2.5 V6 and on paper stood 235 km/h also with automatic transmission, and he had easily brought his 250 tours, but do not believe that the Omega also managed it! therefore my question to you what would the Omega bring to the end speed??? Can no one help?
Had already posted further down on the topic “KlimA”. Unfortunately no answer. I would help if someone says where the climate compressor is sitting so that I can look for myself. THANK YOU!!! Here once again my problem from the lower posting: Hello, today a request about air conditioning at 2.0 16V, year 96. (No Climatetronic!) In the search I found nothing about my problem. Last week she went still. Then she didn’t cool any more. Have the on/off switch on/off on weekends. As my wife has the car and I work out, she was in the workshop today (free workshop). We had a bill from May 03 from the workshop where coolant was filled up. That’s why we went there. (Has the Omega only 3 weeks.) The master looked at the thing and did something. He then said that something like a “switch” was defective. The system itself is ok. Unfortunately, the machine is not working. He didn’t want to tell my wife what kind of defective “switch” it is. The part should cost about 40 €. For the installation it should be necessary to release the coolant, whereby then of course the filling costs again extra. (zzgl wages) The plant is now (for the first time) again. Wailing contact? The master also wanted to say nothing about the part on express request. (Rumgestammel) Since father-in-law (in 600km distance) is car locker, he might possibly be the part wec When we go to our parents at the end of July, my question: What kind of defective part can this be? Where does the compressor/air conditioning system sit at all? Does the coolant really have to be drained or does the company want to earn more Euro? Thank you for your help. webengel

Collision with a “UFO”
Hello, I had a collision with a UFO ((U)nknown (F)lug (O)bjekt ) on the highway today at 130 km/h. The bonnet was deformed, on the right headlight the mounts were broken and the windshield (not broken or so, but it is very strong around the windshield)(was just 3 hours old!!!!) damaged. According to the police it is supposed to be a bird of prey. Part cascade I have. I also got a wild damage sheet from the Police. I also informed the insurance company that I had a collision with a bird of prey, which they meant sending an expert. Now my question: Does my insurance pay for such damage?? Ohso, the insurance is the alliance. MfG Sven

How is the turbo controlled?
Hi, I’d like to know if anyone knows how the turbo is controlled by the 2.5TD, and that’s the one tube that’s attached to the engine at the top and a tube that points down. Where the tube leads I don’t know. That’s why my question would be whether these two connections lead to oil. If that’s the case, that would mean that the turbo is controlled by its own pressure (this fungus with the tube that is connected to the turbo)… Here’s a link on which you can see what I mean:http://c gi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… I was with BOSCH today and I had the cart connected to the tester and that shows that somewhere in the loader circuit there is a sporadic error at 3186U/min. What exactly does that mean they didn’t know themselves………… If anyone has an idea, then just give it to me. I am grateful for everything!
