Servus together. Since I’ve been driving only VW for the last few years and have almost no experience with Opel. I hope for your support. For the weekend I’ve had a comploett restored 80’s Chevy C10 Stepside. ( since GM is quite related to Opel, I’ve come to Opel now). I’m a short time ago Papa. and need a combo that has plenty of space, nice equipment and for normal mortal payable. And the only one left for my purse was the Vectra OPC Bj. 2007-2008. After a long speech. Is my question to you: Can you do something wrong with a vectra OPC Bj. End( 07 ) with 40 to 70 thousand Km and if I have to pay special attention to what. If I give Bj from 07 to 80,000 Km 13 models come at Mobile.de. I found two privates who has 50,000 and who with 62,000 Km even has a car guarantee until 7.2011. A black with about 40,000 Km at the dealer unfortunately almost 500 Km. Would you only be at the dealer or also The problem is, I can’t really compare because all providers are quite far away. Come from the area of Baden Würtenberg. And there are hardly any Vectra OPC sold. Perhaps one or the other can help me a bit. Greetings Mr. Nautilus !

Make OPC wish come true or not?
Hello, I always wanted to have an OPC (Vectra or Zafira) but again and again the reason has won and then became a diesel. At the moment I drive a Zafira B Cosmo, 185 Ps (over OBD tuned) and am very satisfied. Also of the driving characteristics the car leaves no wishes open. End speed approx. 230 kmh. Nevertheless, it always pulls me to the OPC. I read tests and see pictures. My daughter needs about 7.5 liters. My wife only shows me a bird. In any case, I would have to butter every month. Do you think that it would make a big difference to drive a Vectra or Zafira OPC to my current vehicle? A little crazy I think I must be buying a car like that. Nevertheless, I would like to fulfill my wishes. What do you say to it? Would you want to make such a trade?

Hello people wanted to buy me a Zafira OPC because I just find the car horny. Now I wanted to know about you on what I should pay special attention to when buying. What is the actual fuel consumption on normal city trip? Would be grateful about any answer.

Change of A6 Avant 2.7T 250 HP Quattro & Tiptronic
Hello guys, I could come to an Insignia ST OPC cheaply. At the moment I drive the vehicle mentioned in the headline. I have of course already searched through various websites and there are still a few questions left open. It would be great if only practical experiences could be posted here (by OPC drivers!!), because I already know the paper situation and thus come to these questions. 😉 So, of course, I am interested in the actual consumption. Then I want noc h know if the 6.5 sec from 0-100 km/h is not a little slow for a hand switch with 325 hp. My current car accelerates in approx. 7.1 sec from 0-100 km/h with quattro & the caustic slow converter automatic. 🙁 As a frontie with HS it should go in approx. 5.5 sec. So it seems a little slow (relative to performance). I would be really grateful for a few experience values, because I like the look outside and inside really well. Already many thanks in advance. Greeting yankee666 Ac h yes, another afterburner, could the OPC also be converted to LPG? Older models probably had difficulties with soft valve seats, or no hydropumps…

Organisational questions about the meeting
Now I also want to make my contribution: Maybe we should coordinate with the things we bring with us. E.g.: Pavillion, Grill, Manschaftszelt, Mukke, Tool (?), Lifting platform (???), Refrigerator, Agregat or what else you have for crazy ideas. Since I don’t have that far, I could come with a hanger full of wood. Such a little fire does really what! How many Kiddis come with me? Maybe I also bring mine with me, though, is a bit of stress, but if they are Don’t send, they’ll be grilled, or something… well, let’s read!

AB Sportscars: Combos OPC, S4, 335ix, R36
I have just finished the edition of the Auto Bild Sportscars in front of me. Here are compared the Kombi versions of OPC, BMW 335ix, Audi S4 and VW Passat R36. Racetrack was the Sachsenring. Conclusion, oh wonder: 1) Audi S4 He drives in his own world and has real addictive potential. The engine works almost too perfectly. Unfortunately, the fun is not cheap, but every single cent is worth. 0 – 100: 5.3 0 – 200: 19.6 lap time: 1:43.83 curb weight: 1.819 KG 2) BMW 335ix Ohn E M-package equipped he beats himself more than passable. The charged row six is so vehemently at work that one does not believe him the “only” 306 hp. 0 – 100: 5.7 0 – 200: 22.1 lap time: 1:47.57 curb weight: 1.767 KG 3) Opel Insignia OPC First and foremost the OPC fights with its weight. However, its standard Brembo brakes are completely unimpressed. First-class Recaro seats. 0 – 100: 6.5 0 – 200: 24.3 lap time: 1:47.52 curb weight: 1.880 KG 4) VW Pas sat R36 As one with a suction engine, he collects sympathy points, but his days seem to be numbered. He cannot keep up with the charged aggregates of his competitors. For this he offers a lot of space 0 – 100: 6,1 0 – 200: 25,3 lap time: 1:48,30 curb weight: 1,770 KG The newspaper can otherwise be given… much Bla Bla … and not much interesting- for me belongs to the genre car e.g. the engine respectively exhaust sound, which in no syllable of any car he I don’t want to say anything about the performance of over 1.8 tons and 8 hp more than the OPC! But that doesn’t change the fact that the overall package of the S4 is certainly the deserved winner.

Search data from 280hp OPC engine
Hello all, I wanted to make a wheel towing force diagram from the Vectra OPC with 280hp. Unfortunately I miss almost all the necessary data. Need a torque curve and the gear ratio. Does someone have something like this? Gruss Jürgen

OPC Gas Conversion
Moin, so, since Saturday, our OPC is now equipped with a Prins VSI at the AH Benkel in Beverungen. The yellow nozzles, the turbokit and a 50l tank – which fits in the caravan without further modifications (higher ground). The gas connection is located in the tank flap, exhaust gas inspection etc. everything was finished at pickup. The conversion lasted from Monday to Saturday, apparently went smoothly. The transfer went exactly like the collection with instruction absolutely professional, all F tank demonstration, full fuelling at the expense of the house – the first few hundred kilometers we drove without problems on gas, I report how it goes on. Costed the fun 3410.- €, including car rental. We are so far very satisfied and do not regret to have driven for the conversion 250km. With the vehicle we would probably not have been happy with the requested local retrofitters. Photos come yet. The refueling is now fun again, m ehr Liter wie Euro. Greetings, Thomas

Switching to OCP
Moin, after our annual driving performance has not developed as expected and the thickness has proved to be relatively vulnerable (many small things, turbocharger damage via car warranty, …), I seriously think about an exchange 3.0 CDTI for OPC. The driving fun will be a bit (hush) higher, insurance is at about the same level, the fuel consumption is expected to run out in about 8.5 to 11l. The tax is drastically lower, this is likely to be a part of the extra consumption as well as against my first assumption, can I not continue to use the winter tyres, because of the even larger braking system?! Gas conversion would also be a possibility. Opinions, tips, hints or ideas? Greetings, Thomas
