Hello, since 8/98 I drive an Omega-B Carvan 2.0 16V Reflection (EZ 9/95). Currently the car has run about 165.000 km, TÜV is still valid until 07/2008 – if I get a badge after that is a question like the TÜV rated the rust, but for cost reasons I will no longer invest a larger sum in the Fzg.. From time to time I look around for alternatives, a caravan it doesn’t have to be, me would be a small SUV like Nissan Qashqai or VW Tiguran stimulant I don’t care about the Fzg. from the year 2003 that you hardly have a clever all-round view from the inside, that’s not different from the above mentioned Fzg. (I understandably haven’t seen the Tiguan yet) either. It seems to count more the sporty look than the passive safety like e.g. that you can recognize other passers-by quickly and well. Because that bothers me personally I think about an Omega 2.2 Carvan Face I don’t really want to buy a lift, but it will be hard to find smart models, and I don’t really want to buy an Omega over 100,000 km. I have a lot of things to do, like many here, with my current Omega, even if it’s an Omega-B, of course there’s also a lot to hang on. The Facelift is better in some points, but it also has the familiar quilts: head gasket, hydroestössel, cracker, flex pipe, exhaust system, track rod etc. – even rust is still a probl for some models. em. Other manufacturers also cook with water, everything is known to me – now I ask myself, should I possibly get back to the risk. A few months ago I would have categorically excluded this, but the all-round view is important to me, the acquisition cost for an Omega also keep itself within limits, would not be the unpredictable and that I should actually be healed Omega. Where light is, is known also shadow – how do you see that, would you again on there the Abeneuter Omega, provided one still finds an acceptable model at all. The models in the closer environment that I have seen up to now had exactly the flaws listed by me, and through the valley of tears we have actually walked here enough. Best regards JD

Omega B – Radio – Connect Bose-Suntsytem to 2 Din Radio
HI, I bought a new multimedia radio in the Inrenet because the dealer assured me that it is compatible with my Omega. Steering wheel remote control and BC would continue to work. I had told him my vehicle data: Opel Omega B bj.2002, NCDC 2015 Radio with Bose system, Navi, telephone, on-board computer and steering wheel remote control. Now the part came with a wire harness with Cuadlock plug which does not fit at all and a small wire harness, with which the device is concerned and also a I went to a specialist store and wanted to know what it would cost to install it. When he was listening to the Bose system, he waved off. It would be far too expensive and would be at 250,-€ – 300,-€. It must be possible to make something easier and cheaper, who can help me with it? I live in 40670 Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. mfg Burkhard

Omega A – Wheels – Wheels 17″ x 7.5J at the Omega A ?
so I have bought sport rims from omega b at ebay cheaply. even the matures are TOP have 5mm profile. were I on an omega b facelift up. here is a photo where I stopped them only once at my.http://members.aon.at/carty/17zoll.jpg that’s just the only rim with crass. for that are all the bigger. but that doesn’t bother me, since I have all the rims prepared anyway. so I’ve got these rims already at the front and back times on a page on it. What’s amazing is that the rims fit perfectly in the back. they have plenty of space in the inside and on the outside on 1cm. (so my show finger fits through). unfortunately didn’t take any more photos, because my digicam batteries have been on strike. => looks great. especially in the back. but now let’s look forward. there’s also the bike to mount it on, but between the riffen and the spring leg is only about 3-5mm space. that seems very dangerous to me. is when I go over there or something. so if I turn the bike in the arranged condition it doesn’t grind anywhere. what do you mean? => track records? 5mm would be nice in the front would be enough of 10mm. 5mm in the back would also go but at 10mm I think I’m getting damn tight. do you actually use normal opel bolts with the wheels? what do I have to pay attention to when buying track records? 5loch 110?

Omega B – Combi & 19 inch OPC rims
Hello together, am new here and have a question: I drive an Omega B Caravan (Facelift) from Jan 2003 and have an acquaintance who drives a Vectra C Caravan OPC. He has already upgraded to 20 inches and offered me the 19 inch OPC rims with the Y Designe (at a fair price) Opel has of course no approvals for this and wants to know about it. What does a single acceptance or registration of a single report cost. Will the rims be registered at all? ? The OPC rims are 8*19 and have 235/35/19 rubbers on them. Would be very grateful about answers. Best regards The DTIler….

Omega B – X30XE – Rip belt whistles and is destroyed
Hello, Unfortunately I still have a problem with the V-belt. My MV6 regularly rips the V-belts. The new one also makes noises that had never heard before. At my Caravan X25XE the V-belt is torn this year in Italy (blatter crack, no tearing). It took me two days to get a new hotel, including a new belt. Tightening roll. There was only a short whistle to hear, then was quiet. The V-belt, which was not really on I did not find any reason for this change. I saved the video here:https://youtu.be/NRiHVfPsLA4 Maybe someone already had this or knows advice? Greetings Thorsten

Omega B – Y22XE – Do not drive, do not accept gas, etc.
I have been reading and searching for days and nights, but the help I need or the solutions I find nothing. I have an Opel Omega B, 2,2 Facelift BJ 2000 with engine code Y22XE. A gold piece it is when it runs :-D. The error code is P0120 throttle flaps poti sensor circuit 1 voltage low—existing, P1120 accelerator sensor 1 signal to low—existing, P1550 electronic throttle flap adjuster less power—existing. I have actually replaced everything that is too It takes no gas, speeds fluctuate until the engine is constantly drunk. Interchanged things: throttle flap, agr, gas encoder poti, camwellsensensor, LMM, motor control unit and motor harness, now I am honestly helpless. I need help with which things and the mistakes can start, if yes, with explanation for “unknowing”. For explanation, this is first car with the e-gas. LG Mandy

Omega B – Limo – broadening, wheel cover/coating wings
Hello, I have a question for you. I was at the TÜV today regarding a registration of my Steinmetz rims and my lowering. It has been criticized that the wheel cover front axle is not sufficient. I think it is very borderline, but I have to accept it for the time being. It is probably about the forward-facing area. Does anyone have an idea what you do best? He said it is enough for him if any flaps or similar are grown. It should not be completely stupid. I have a few pictures of the left front wheel attached.

Stormproof Pavilion for Smart Roadster?
Hi, can someone recommend me a pavilion for my roadster for the winter as much as possible with foil walls? Should be reasonably mobile (therefore degradable), but also not fly away during the first storm. In the garden there are 30 plates, so I could anchor threaded rods in it if necessary. Don’t want to leave it another winter in the rain….

damaged with wrong screw during tyre change wheel bearing
Hello together this is my first post here. Last November I had a car dealer with whom I have been a customer for many years and already the third car drive my tires on winter tires changed. This is now the third change. This was always done in this workshop. My wheels are also stored there. Last week I wanted to have changed from winter tires to summer tires again. I was told that there was a problem with the wheel bearing and that they had a I could not change the tires. I should drive to Smart with them. I did that too and described my problem. There you could not imagine how such damage could occur. This morning I brought my car there for cost estimate. Before that I got the call back. The employee of Smart. informed me that either a screw was screwed in wrongly or one with broken thread, so that the wheel bearing was destroyed. As I said, it has never screwed anyone other than this Wekstatt there. The damage is 600Euro. Is there a mediation point of the inside or similar? That only if the dealer does not show himself. Thanks already once for your answers
