  • vmax 85kW engine

Hello, has someone already used the 85kW engine and checked the top speed by means of GPS? I’m just about to choose from: Adam Slam 85kW or Toyota Auris (97kW) – both very well equipped and about similar price. The Auris goes real 202 (even tested with GPS on a short motorway exit on the A8 near Munich). However, with the Adam 66kW I found a clear speedometer forward (partly over 15km/h) at motorway speed – but can also have been located on the small winter bikes.

  • Configurator – each ADAM is unique

Hello dear ADAM fans! I’m just thrilled by the ADAM configurator, never has configured so much joy. I don’t have any serious intentions to buy one, but I present my personalized ADAM anyway. Would be nice if you would show your “unique” here as well. The “uniques” may of course also be evaluated Here is the link to the confi (is unfortunately still hidden something):ADAM configurator Only critical point to the confi: At the end of the summary you could insert a link “gallery” where you can see pictures from inside and outside of the configured Adam and a confi code (as in the competition) would not be wrong. So and now my ADAM:

  • Automatic parking aid is not possible

So, today I received my Adam Glam ordered at the end of May. Immediately I wanted to try out the ordered automatic parking aid, but I can’t get it to run. If the button is slow and pressed long, only the message “park help is not available”, at > 30 km/h comes the warning message that I’m driving too fast for the parking aid. I can rule out that the option is simply missing, the sensors at the front and at the rear are available, and the dead angle alarm in the package is also available and works. In the accessible configuration the “park help” is also activated. Do you have an idea? I don’t think I’m doing something wrong. Has Opel not even tested this before delivery? Maybe just disabled in the configuration accessible only by dealer-diagnose device? Thank you! Ciao, Jan

  • a few questions about the equipment

Hello. I’m about to buy the Slam with 87 hp without a start/stop. I’m not sure about some features yet and I’d like to ask a few questions about it. 1)Is the Slam with 87 hp standard? In the 2012 price list it’s included, in the summary in the configurator I find nothing more about it 2)I’d like to add the spare wheel to it. Is the already small boot even smaller? 3)Is the tyre pressure control system recommended? Sometimes it’s considered good, sometimes not. Some complain that there’s a constant warning noise in case of a slight deviation. Is the system also deactivable? Because you also need winter tires that are suitable for the system, they are much more expensive? 4)I’m still considering whether I keep the standard radio or pay the 300€ surcharge for this intellilink. I’ve already read a lot about it here, both pre- and cons. I wouldn’t want to use it as a Navi, since I don’t have a mobile device that supports it. But I can’t use it for a new device or a new one.

  • Experience with the new…

Hello, I picked up my Adam last week Friday. My joy about my Adam picked up on Friday took only so long until I had to find out that the air conditioning doesn’t work! And that with a new car! After I had checked in the workshop whether the air conditioning actually doesn’t work, or I made a service error, I now have an appointment to repair next week. Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon back. How do I get to work? Free car rental? NO!!! I’m supposed to pay a rental car. Hello, is it my fault that the Adam has to go to the workshop right now? I’m very angry! Have a new car that doesn’t work properly and should pay my own car rental, or see how I get to work. “Great” service Opel! Then I also had to realize that the Multicolor LED light package doesn’t work! Well, I can complain on Tuesday. Very annoying, let’s see what comes to me. Greeting Willow

  • HELP!!! Injection nozzles Meriva 1.7 CDTI

My Meriva 1.7 CDTI, built in 2004, 85,000km, has been mucking for some time. It starts off badly early on, it takes a great deal of time before it really suds and then goes out again when I drive to the intersection. At the beginning, it’s also right. Now I wanted to sell it and get another one for it (vechtra petrol). The Opel dealer checked my car in the heart and kidneys, and found that all 4 injection nozzles are defective and told me that this would be material costs of approx. 2000€ alone. My questions: 1. Is it likely or possible that all 4 injection nozzles are defective? 2. What is a injection nozzle costing? Even better would be to know what the self-purchase (purchase price) for the FOH would be (for a nozzle) I hope you can help me further. It is also very urgent, since it could push the value of my Meriva around 2000€! Thank you for your answers!!!!

  • Belt drive C20XE

Belt drive C20XE + KAT Question Aloha! Got in the garage nen C20XE, z Zt. still without LiMa and therefore also without belts. LiMa would have to come now the days by mail, only the question of the belt remains, because I still have to get it. Were there different variants? My knowledge there are nn V-belt and a V-belt, which do I need? Do I see this on the belt disc? Sorry, have still net so with engines, but am really learningable Does anyone possibly have accurate photos of the belt drive? And an indication of which belts I need?! Servo pump does not have to be driven with, because I have an electric servo. So actually only the LiMa that needs some movement, but hope you can bring me some enlightenment thx -fate- edit times still another general question: if I need a cat from a different car, which has a bore for a Lambda probe, which I need but net, then I can just do it with a screw, but I would like to do it again.

  • SIDI Motors + Biesel

Hi, after the 1.4 TFSI from VW wins almost every test in connection with CO2 and consumption, has a torque like a turbodiesel and almost its consumption, I would be interested as a buyer interested in an Insignia whether jemdand knows when the new engine generation to be presented at the Astra this year also have to be bought at the Insignia: Bsp. (SIDI = Downsizing + Direct Injection): 1.4 l SIDI with 130 or 170 hp 1.6 l SIDI with 190 or 220 hp 2.0 l SIDI OPC 250 hp 2.0 l SIDI OPC TCR 300 hp. In addition, I am interested in how the current status of the “Biesel” at Opel is (Biesel = mixture of petroler + diesel)? At Opel it is called HCCI system = homogeneous compression ignition, is a petrol engine, in itself the mixture in the combustion chamber by compression without ignition sparks. So Mercedes also has something similar in the Köcher. Momentan I know that the engine still needs to be controlled by a Vhubtra four-cylinder.

  • Omega A – C36NE – Engine Oil leaks

Schöne Schei… I noticed today that the engine loses oil between the engine and the gearbox as well as at the front of the oil tank rubber seal. Probably the crankcase ventilation is watered. What do you mean? Greeting Reinhard

  • Omega B – X20XEV – AU: CO value too high

Crankcase ventilation does not change anything. When reading out in real time, a wild swinging control value of the Lambda probe occurred during idle, between 50 mV and 4300mV, and the control loop jumped back and forth between to and open. Is it worth checking there, or is that normal with the old Symtec with the X20XEV?
