  • Convert X20XEV to Turbo

    (the thread is already under Calibra but nobody had an idea yet, so I’m just trying it here) Well yesterday evening we talked to some acquaintances in the round and the topic was the following, now that my Cali slowly gets into the old age I want to convert next year to LET-technique called Turbo, and to him a nice retirement as a fun car on which he likes to mature with season marks in peace Now the stone of the wise again lies in the deatail, such a ie pleaded for a Z20LET because is more modern, others in turn a c20let or even as an alternative a turbo kit for an X20XEv ,zb of dybilas which is given there with 260hp…. because yesterday that was the impetus in a sense, a 3er 318is (had actually only 140 ps) Compact on the role experienced the delivered with a Lotec turbo kit now 222hp and 296NM Dremoment , so seems to be quite promising …. however, the BMW Maschi keep even in the “serial state” no modifications to the engine itself, fortunately with such a kit, which drive with approx.0,48bar…. what does this look like at Opel actually? Even more convincing I found then a 325i (actually 193hp) which supplied with compressor kit (also 0.48bar) 306 hp but how is that at Opel, what do you think is promising…… what would you do if…mfg

  • Transmission expansion at the Agila Z12XE

    Hello, after I had problems with the circuit from my little green Agila – at that time luckily only the rope pull was pulled out, the FOH even directed by kulanz – now my gearbox has finally said goodbye at the WE. When I wanted to switch from the first into the second gear there was only a violent blow and then in every attempt to couple in any gear only violent polking, banging and rumbling. Today came the horror report from the W but I don’t have this money, nor would I invest it if I had it, because 5,000€ is about twice the time value of the car. Long speech, short meaning: After a short search on the internet and with vehicle-restrictors, I found out that one gets used gears for the Agila already for about 500€. Now I had thought about simply getting the gears too My brother-in-law, who used to repair trucks, would even help me. He thinks, however, that this only makes sense if you don’t have to completely expand the engine for the transmission expansion, because he wouldn’t be confident about it. Has one of you already removed the gearbox on the Agila and knows what effort this is involved? Maybe even someone can give me a short instruction on this? And which gearbox does everyone fit in with the Z12XE engine? Only the F12CR? f different websites have already read that the F13CR also fits the Z12XE engine and not only the Z12XEP… Well, thank you for your help already in advance, until then. mfg Nick-O

    Hello, today we decided to buy a Karl as a second car after a longer test drive. A car from the warehouse from our dealer, well equipped with zero KM(15) and daily registration, list price 14005€, for 1200€ plus overpass incl. 3 years connection guarantee. Karl Exclusive 1.0 75 HP metallic paint, comfort package, style package + exclusive standard equipment, I find a good price / performance ratio. On 03.09.15 we pick it up, I’m curious if it is so reliable is like my previous Opel.

  • Opel Karl – Wheels Grinding on the carrier of the VA – 185/55 R15 6 x 15 ET50

    Hi, I bought accessory wheels. It is the RC design RC30 in 6 x 15 ET50. Unfortunately, the tyres grind on the carrier, both when I turn completely to the left or right. But to the left it is much stronger. On the lifting platform you can also see that the tyre is on the carrier. And also here much more on the left side. Are there people driving the 185/55 R15 tyres? And how is the situation with the complete steering impact here. e 1. Inspection. I think you’ll want the steering to be stopped.

  • Mokka, power steering total failure while driving, rear window suddenly bursts with loud bang

    New Opel Mokka 1.4 eco flexNUR PROBLEME New purchase in July 2015 a.) already in January 2016 Total failure of the power steering during the ride, is probably “only” a software error/problem, but you have to experience during the full ride, how nice this software problem then feels, especially in the corner area, especially in a curve b.) now we sit yesterday afternoon on the terrace, vehicle parked opposite on the road (village, 30 zone, no human far and wide, gess We don’t think it’s going to happen either), suddenly there’s a loud bang and the rear window is bursting and torn into a thousand pieces. After opening the rear door, it’s decaying into countless parts. (Luckily, I documented this immediately in my mind before touching anything) (see pictures as an installation).   • Switching or automatic

    Hi, I’m new here with a request for advice: I’m considering buying a Mokka X and would return to my Opel roots. My problem is that I’m not only getting older (and so I want to sit higher), but also a little bit deaf. With my car I don’t hear the engine anymore and forget so often the switching (yes, I know… tachometers and so… – but if you’re used to it…). That’s why I’m thinking: Automatic – even though I’m only switching in 40 years. My question: How is the gear change indicator in the mocha? It is sufficiently noticeable that I can save myself the switch to automatic? Is this just an indicator or a signal? I didn’t find a photo at Opel… Can anyone say anything about this? Thanks.
