Building or giving up ! ? 2,5 td
Hello , I am Andy and new here ! My Omega 2,5 t ,d Caravan Bj 11 /1999 drives me crazy ! Km 245 000 My automatic transmission spins . Has dropouts , or do I feel as if it somehow slips through . Engine turns up and then it packs again . Also at the kick-douwn . ! ? ? Lose powerful oil . Also at the over or (under pressure ) ? can exhaust gas recirculation . ? ! Engine compartment is super oily . Have done everything clean . But nobody can definitely help me . Motor Spri Bosch and Opel want to renew the diesel pump / gearbox and much more at Utopian prices. Or they tell me to sell the cart. Buy yourself a new one. And now somehow the steering is harder than if the servo does not support properly. ! ? Someone has any procedure ready. Or am I really a hopeless case. Greetings to all.

Compulsory stop on the motorway
I stayed on the track today with my Ommi. The whole thing went as follows: I am on the track with about 160 things, when suddenly without warning the speed drops to 0 and the car rolls out. At the same time the on-board compi reports “Automatic gearbox” and the indicator light of the motor electronics lights. Whether at this moment the engine was still running, I do not know, but the steering was still smooth. When I came to a stop slowly on the stand strip, the steering became weak. All attempts to start the engine again failed, and I could have been taken from the towing service to the fork. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on there? Before I have this checked in the workshop on Monday, it wouldn’t be bad if someone had a tip on what could come to me so that I wouldn’t get into a coma right away…

Attachment of the mob. navigator
Hello dear community, I would like to pass on my experience with the installation of the mobile navigation device MD95900 in the Omega. Perhaps a corresponding contribution is already available and I missed it. In the search for a suitable location I had tried several attachment possibilities, but then rejected again. Prerequisite for each location is of course the free “sight connection” of the unfolded antenna on the navigation device to the satel Thus I came to the conclusion on the simplest and best solution for me: Installation on the left side of the inner mirror with the help of 2 rubbers -see attached picture-. The unfolded antenna is located on the mirror. (To my knowledge, the unrestricted use of the inner mirror with the presence of a 2nd outer mirror is not necessary.) The decisive factor for this location was the short distance of view, the low solar radiation and thus also low ble The power is supplied via the supplied cable from the cigarette lighter below the aperture for the control devices – “So is made”, page 231, No. 26-. Greeting, Ommega

Opel ADAM driving beam no longer works
Moin, my father was today with his Adam at the TÜV. There it was noticeable: driving light is not possible. The indicator light in the KOMBI goes, therefore, will rather not be the steering pole switch. Safety 31 and 32 in the engine compartment are not burned, seem to me to be for the FL, because without the fuses the passing light runs anyway and are labeled with headlights left/right. Lamps are H4, were once manually clamped on FL 12V, they also go. If someone has a schematic for the ADA M S? Couldn’t recognize anything in the direction of Marder, but I haven’t demoted anything yet. I’m not really excited about the box, not 100,000 on the clock and the thing is already coming out of all holes…Oil, coolant,…now something like that… German quality looks different, definitely doesn’t mean Opel anymore. I hope there’s someone here who can hand over the plans to me LG Felix

Switch from Omega-B to Facelift again the same game?
Hello, since 8/98 I drive an Omega-B Carvan 2.0 16V Reflection (EZ 9/95). Currently the car has run about 165.000 km, TÜV is still valid until 07/2008 – if I get a badge after that is a question like the TÜV rated the rust, but for cost reasons I will no longer invest a larger sum in the Fzg.. From time to time I look around for alternatives, a caravan it doesn’t have to be, me would be a small SUV like Nissan Qashqai or VW Tiguran stimulant I don’t care about the Fzg. from the year 2003 that you hardly have a clever all-round view from the inside, that’s not different from the above mentioned Fzg. (I understandably haven’t seen the Tiguan yet) either. It seems to count more the sporty look than the passive safety like e.g. that you can recognize other passers-by quickly and well. Because that bothers me personally I think about an Omega 2.2 Carvan Face I don’t really want to buy a lift, but it will be hard to find smart models, and I don’t really want to buy an Omega over 100,000 km. I have a lot of things to do, like many here, with my current Omega, even if it’s an Omega-B, of course there’s also a lot to hang on. The Facelift is better in some points, but it also has the familiar quilts: head gasket, hydroestössel, cracker, flex pipe, exhaust system, track rod etc. – even rust is still a probl for some models. em. Other manufacturers also cook with water, everything is known to me – now I ask myself, should I possibly get back to the risk. A few months ago I would have categorically excluded this, but the all-round view is important to me, the acquisition cost for an Omega also keep itself within limits, would not be the unpredictable and that I should actually be healed Omega. Where light is, is known also shadow – how do you see that, would you again on there the Abeneuter Omega, provided one still finds an acceptable model at all. The models in the closer environment that I have seen up to now had exactly the flaws listed by me, and through the valley of tears we have actually walked here enough. Best regards JD

Omega B – Radio – Connect Bose-Suntsytem to 2 Din Radio
HI, I bought a new multimedia radio in the Inrenet because the dealer assured me that it is compatible with my Omega. Steering wheel remote control and BC would continue to work. I had told him my vehicle data: Opel Omega B bj.2002, NCDC 2015 Radio with Bose system, Navi, telephone, on-board computer and steering wheel remote control. Now the part came with a wire harness with Cuadlock plug which does not fit at all and a small wire harness, with which the device is concerned and also a I went to a specialist store and wanted to know what it would cost to install it. When he was listening to the Bose system, he waved off. It would be far too expensive and would be at 250,-€ – 300,-€. It must be possible to make something easier and cheaper, who can help me with it? I live in 40670 Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. mfg Burkhard
