  • Interior Quality Omega B Facelift – Review?

Good evening together, I’m on my way in a lot of long distance soon and seriously think about getting an Omega B Facelift. Today I put myself at the dealer around the corner times in a limousine (2.2 Dti, Bj 02, 178 Tkm) and was a bit disappointed by the interior quality. Admittedly, the car did not make a well-kept impression all around, but I noticed that the door linings were quite scratched, the light switch and the keys for the NSW sat relatively clappy in their frames, the center console knarze when pressing on the wooden frame and the ashtray only half drove out and sat quite clappy in its bracket. Everything only made a semi-solid impression. Are you on average satisfied with the processing of your Omegas? How does this look like with you? It would be my first Opel, I was previously in a Passat Bj 02. Is it very enthusiastic about the face lift time of the B Omega “sprünge” in the processing quality, so that there are improvements from a certain production period? There is a difference in this between the noise level of 4 and the rest of the cylinder?

  • high consumption c20xe

Hello, I need some help, I’ve had an increased verb with my Astra GSI 16v for a long time with short distance/city traffic. In the past this was always 8.5 liters. Now I’m at 11liters. Today I’ve only driven long distance 300km with ca120-130Km/h, there’s the consumption in order: 6.5liters. I’ve been driving the car for 10 years now: Astra GSI 16V Bauj.1993 C20XE Motonik 2.8 KM:Stand 233000KM were renewed: Air mass meter, Lamda probe, Thermostat, Termofühler both, cranks I have the impression that the engine is running too fat. Where is the idle control valve for the engine? The design is different than with the Ecotech engine. Can you clean it? Unfortunately, I did not find anything suitable with the search function. I will also put the same post into the Calibra forum again, so that many people can help me, hope this is ok for you…. Gru ß Sid

  • Water temperature indicator

Hello, my temperature indicator is always about 2mm above the blue area. Where does it stand with you? 2,0l NE motor. I think that’s way too low and maybe the thermostat that opens the big cooling circuit is always open. Drive the Calibra only recently and don’t know it any different from it. Michael

  • Hello, I’m the new one

Hello! I recently bought an Omega 2,5td Caravan construction year 8.98. Was also often in the workshop with a lot of repairs, luckily everything was running over Kulanz. Now I have a little something I want to repair myself and have the first problem. The wiper water nozzle on the passenger side has too little pressure. The water does not even get to the disc. Will probably be the hose leaking I already thought I could. But I did not know that the hose inside through the body of the bonnet is running. How can I get there. The cables for the nozzle heating run through there too and I don’t want to break anything.I already say thank you for your answers.

  • I once had my omega evaluated

Hello Omega Freaks. I was at the friendly one today and looked around for a caravan. I myself have a limousine with the following equipment: 2.0-16 V , Sport , Built6/98 , km : 53000, TÜV a year ago without defects, accessories : metallic, Automatic , air conditioning automatic , onboard computer, fog lamps, 235/45×17 on Twinspoke rims(by Immscher), CD radio , Xenon lamps , double tube stainless steel spuff , the rest is included in the sports equipment . The car is accident-free and very well maintained The only drawback is a small scratch on the left rear wheel. The dealer offered me a payment of 5500 €. The vehicle I looked at should cost 17.500. Because of the small scratch he pulled me out of 1200 € !!!!! (the whole page must be painted). When I asked him once if this is his last word, he meant: highest 7,000 €, if I should take a new car. What do you mean, but I really want to sell my Ommi because I have a Caravan.

  • Omega A 3.0 12 V

Hi I just wanted to present my experience with the Omega 3.0 12 V (177 hp) inline engine. My father had bought the 3.0 as a combination with 4-speed automatic. In my opinion the engine is really a cream piece !!! His buddy had bought the same car at the same time but with 5-speed manual gear. Both I believe were entered with 220 km/h in the papers. But according to the speedometer both were faster. With automatic: On straight distance approx. 260- 265 km/h !!! !!! according to Tacho (for me to this day hard to understand. ) With handshift: 245 km/h at approx. 6800 rpm in the limiter. The automatic turned even at 265 km/h only approx. 6200 rpm. Both had a fuel consumption of approx. 12 liters even with fast driving !!! Many modern 6-cylinders would be happy if they would consume so much with normal driving mode. My father then sold the car with approx. 100000 KM to a friend. And then again to another acquaintance. The last time I found out by chance, the car now has 385000 KM down and should not have any technical defects up to some rust spots on the body. That’s what I call engine construction !!! But please only the in-line engines !!!! I didn’t hear so much about the V engines. The Vectra I 500 2.5 V6 with 195 Irmscher PS from my buddy had already consumed after 50000 KM 1 liter of oil on 500 KM and was quite at the end !!! GRUß

  • V6 Fever

Servus to everyone, just wanted to share my experiences here. I tried a Claibra V6 this week in the original condition. And now I’m in the V6 fever. I myself have been driving an A-Vecci 2l 16V Eco for 2 years. The best was definitely the sound. Ok the exhaust was broken. But he didn’t sound broken or clattered, but was just loud and horny. He didn’t surprise me in terms of performance. My Vectra pulls almost as well. r Previous owner was a woman and he might have been a bit lame. I will not buy this Calibra. Coupling is at the end. Lots of rust on the thresholdrs. Will save the next time and drive my Vectra on. As soon as I see the right Cali, I will hit you. Now to you. Whether Calibra or Vectra A/B. Have you had similar experiences? Or maybe you are already building up your V6? What are you changing on the engine and coach? Just write everything in here… Greeting Matze
