Hello guys, I drive Calli with Ecotec V6 engine, yesterday we sat together in a cozy round and I was put down by pretty much all other Opel drivers because I have a Ecotec engine. What’s so much worse about these engines??? I know they shouldn’t be so lively but good ok that can’t be all. I can’t hear expressions like “Ecodreck”. I’m driving 65 Tkm with my and except for smaller things I’m re I would like to hear your opinion about Ecotec engines or read them. Also the opponents of it and the reasons for it so that I can understand it. because yesterday nobody could tell me why the peculiar shit is…. Gruss Holle

Brake response In case of rain
My omi has the small but unsightly habit of reacting to rain and highway travel with a delayed braking effect. I think it’s due to a water film on the brake discs. Discs and coverings are original from Opel (cheese expensive) Does everyone have this problem and does anyone have a solution for it??

Pluspol battery hot????
Hello people!!! When changing the top fan switch, it was one with completely wrong values and not original Opel installed, therefore also the problems with the too early starting 2nd stage of the fan, at least after replacement of the switch, I let the engine run for a while, to see if the fan now does its service correctly. I noticed that the thick black cable, which goes on the plus pole of the battery, gets damn hot. So hot that already the plastic de r battery cover melted. I removed it for fire protection reasons!!! Once too long prepared on the metal piece of the cable….Fire bubble at the paw!!! The pole itself is not hot, “only” the cable at the front of the metal piece. What can that be again???? Thank you for your tips!! Greeting Jörn

FOH – the never ending story
Quotation: Original written by Axcell I knew it! I am certainly not a stubborn dog and go in there very friendly. With the screws with nuts for the spring legs it started already. “Which?” sitting actually only below. But we still got regulated. The self-securing screws for the brake carrier were then already too much. “Brem carrier? I don’t know!” The self-securing nuts for the two track rod heads on axle carriers were then already too much . I have to know the size, M12, M14 or whatever. On demand, if there are differences with the X20XEV, he said yes. Even with vehicle registration no progress. Then I said: I best come back with all the screws. Did he mean: Do not bring the screws with you, measure them! What does FOH mean? Friendly Opel dealer or friend without brain? Did everything photographed, measured, put a table and then go tomorrow with the My car still likes bucks. Greetings Axcell Greetings Axcell

Opel Crossland, building year 2020, 30000 km, capital engine damage, new engine built, Opel rejects Kul
On the way home from the holiday at a speed of about 130 kmh, there was suddenly a blow in the engine compartment and the Fz came to a stop immediately. At the look you could see, everything oiled but no additional candles there. Through the towing service the vehicle was towed into the workshop. There was a built-in your engine, the old one was no longer to be repaired. A request with Opel went negative. No culant. Had to pay everything itself. Now my question: Is there any other Cr ossland driver who had the same or similar experiences? Would be interesting. Because this is not normal.

Motor oil – increased oil consumption
Hello, together! I would need your help ;( I bought my Crossland X a month ago (it had 115,069km). I had TÜV re-made. On 17.04.24 I made oil changes (115,105 km) , 3,5L 0W-20 Total Quartz Ineo Xtra First (PSA B71 2010) according to manufacturer’s specification. On 09.05.24 (with 115,668km) the car complains: correct oil level. Oil tail rod shows about 1/4! That means still 0.5L filled in. I looked under the car and saw no oil stains on the ground. Eb In this way I had it on a lifting platform and found no signs of oil or leaks. Exhaust gas looks “normal”. Timing belts have no cracks and also looks “normal” compared to pictures in the context of recall action. Driving behaviour: Mo – Fr a total of 30km daily, on weekends mostly short distance, average speed: 50 DATA: Crossland X, BJ 2018, 1.2 Turbo, gasoline, automatic. EXTRA INFOS: On 18.06 I have an appointment with the Opel because of recall action. Questions: 1 – Was ka nn the causes are? It is not normal to have to fill 0.5L every 2 weeks, right? 2 – Have you seen such a thing? 3 – Should I talk about the oil consumption at the appointment or wait for the FOH to check everything? I would like to thank you very much!

Which model of the Opel Crossland is recommended
Hello you Opel Crossland owners! I’m new here and would be very happy about some advice from you. After a long search for an SUV, which is affordable for me, I first landed at SEAT and then the eternally long delivery time brought me to the Opel Crossland. I looked at it at the dealer and I really like it right away and what I read about tests and test drives and also here in the talk, everything sounds not so bad. Preisl I’m thinking about taking the 131 or 110 hp switchcar or the 110 hp automatic. What do you think? I’ve already read from some people here that they found the automatic better. And what special equipment is really useful from the “to be booked”. So LED headlights are already indispensable for me and actually belong in every new vehicle by default, Then I saw the relatively bad view to the rear and immediately thought that the rear camera has to be booked. Or doesn’t that bring much? So I’m really a newcomer with all this “Klimbim” there is now. I drive an old Opel Astra and he has not much else to offer besides air conditioning and electric window lifter and central verr. But I’ve been very satisfied with the car, but he gets too old and therefore I really need in new vehicle and it is close when you are beyond the 50 to take an SUV, where getting in and out is really fun, I have already noticed so much. 🙂 So I’m looking forward to your suggestions regarding Opel Crossland. Thank you!

missing stop buffer rear axle
Hello municipality, today I presented my wife’s Crossland (EZ 2021) after an elaborate rep. of all rusty brakes at the TÜV. Conclusion: failed. The stop buffer on the back left was completely missing and the one on the right side was about to fall out. I haven’t experienced it in my 30 years of screwdriver activity yet, but you never learn out. The material of this buffer is obviously so bad that after less than 3 years it really crumbles. The next bad quality that the French build up here. I have now tried to replace it and will stick in the new buffers, original it should cost about 100€. Since I can’t imagine that this problem has only happened to my wife’s Crossland, would I be interested in who else is this? Greeting Seppl
