  • 1. Negative driving report (engine) of the OPEL GT !

Hello, I just had to read the following article in Focus-Online! http://www.focus.de/auto/fahrberichte/opel-gt_fbid_710.html?sub_kat=3 Overall it is the 1st driving report, which is not particularly positive and I find even more strange that very often the competition (Audi TT, BMW Z4 and Mazda MX5) is praised!! Also the roof is very much criticized, although until now all were very satisfied, also strange!! Either the tester really got a bad pre-production model I’ll see you soon.

  • Would you like to adjust the speedometer of the new speedometer, how do you do that?

Hello, I’m looking here in so if you want to manipulate a guide for this. This should end up for any illegal reasons, but has the following background: I drive a Calibra built on XE with NE Tacho. But the NE Tacho has only the rev meter up to 7000 and the XE Tacho up to 8000. Now my car has 188 down and the other Tacho 257 and I want to adjust the stand to original. I was told by one I should simply dismantle the disc and with a screwdriver twist the numbers. The only thing that now grbachtr has to me is a scratching number and the fact that it can’t be turned. So how do I do it best to break it oghne still merh? And: when cih converts the tacho, how do I separate the tacho wave to be able to take the tacho?

  • Motor tuning 2.5dti?

Have a quick question for you, because maybe one or the other has already done that, or deals with the topic: to let my Omi 2.5dti tune (optimize) by software or electronics. My weighing has now covered 130,000km in 3 years, driving mode rather defensively, my average consumption is at 100km at 7,4l (with automatic!). I have found only two (expert) tuners for the 2.5dti so far, for one project Opel, and for the other project Opel. other stone builders. Prices starting from EUR 700.00 to EUR 1900.00 are represented, but only on the margins. Steinbauer:http://www.steinbauer.cc/index.php?… Project Opel:http://www.projektopel.de/?section=tuning_opel_omegab Which would you recommend, or of which do you think more? Motor stress? Automatic gearbox? Absolutely not yet conclusive to me if I change anything at all, but especially the NM ( Opel project) are of course very tempting, if it has to be done quickly. ..

  • Rear brake blocks replaced

Hello together, on Friday I saw something that I haven’t seen in 32 years car making yet. My brake back right made metallic noises, so I got new blocks at the FOH for € 70.70 (which didn’t even cost DM 50,-?). Friday afternoon I changed the right side, the outer surface had still a good 6mm and the inside was no longer available. On the left side then the shock, the outside again 6mm and the inside (approx. 4mm) lies loosely between stop He and Scheibe. I’ve never seen the coverings replace each other. Since I have been driving the car since KM-Stand 65,000 (now 145,000), it must be the first and no cheap goods. Has anyone ever had this before??? If something like this happens when I drive with my boat back through the Alps, coastal road etc. ohwehohwehohweh! Greeting Werner

  • Gasoline additive LM D I Cleaner

Dear M T friends, I bought a used Grandland last week (1,2, 130 HP BJ 12/2022, 9800 km . Now my question: with the predecessor , Meriva B I had to add an LM direct injection cleaner to the petrol every year, but now a timing belt in the oil (no control chain) runs at Grandland. Do you have any residue of the cleaner into the oil and can damage the ZR? Or the dissolved residues? Unfortunately, find the report where the engines were described, where this Zus In the case of other engines, the additional engine damage can be caused. Do I have such an “other” engine? My, I have an F12-xxx engine. Or should I absolutely wait with the addition until after the warranty? In the Meriva this was prescribed, at the Grandland I read nothing of it.. Ok, completely different engines, PSA miracles.. but unfortunately there was no other engine in the Grandland with any other engine, or just electric, but it stands on petrol dampers^^ oh, and still a question, kills the oil hlammflussung the timing belt,? I read horror stories and would like to keep my engine still n bitl^^.. Or just a premium sprite (Ultimax etc?) and your fingers away from additives? Thank you for your opinions:

  • Engine noise A14NET

Hello together. Our Zafira C is in pain again. He makes the noise / flapping in the stand. I don’t think it sounds good at all and I’m still worried. If I (is an automatic geriebe) with standing gas stays that, I give a little more gas it goes away basically. In the stand I also have the feeling that it swallows itself for a short time. Do you have any idea what this can be? Have just read something about loose chain tensioners / sliding rails. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/djselSN0C8o

  • Opel Z16XEP engine problem with throttle flaps (P1113) Position sensor channel shutdown

Hello dear suffering afflicted with the throttle problem of the Z16XEP engine. I came across a Russian side during my research where the problem is described. No new flange has to be installed if the wear of the mechanism has not progressed too far! Basically: The poti to the throttle sends to the motor control unit the respective position of the throttles. The working area is between 0.1 volts and 4.9 volts. If the mechanism is now concealed, If these values are outside of this range and the MSG stores the error that the poti is defective. If you now have a readout device and can access the parameters of the MSG, you can read out the reported values. Now you move the checkers manually and read out the values. 3 solution approaches: (under this link you can see the appropriate images: http://www.autopro.spb.ru/showrem.afp?remedy=15) Approach 1: The end stop of the checkers is located at the Röhrch The screw which fixes the poti(picture1). If one installs either a thicker tube here or makes this tube “dicker” with other means, one changes the final stop of the flaps in the necessary direction. Approach 2: Take the pipe between air filter and the suction flange. Below it is the vacuum box that controls the mechanism(picture2). This vacuum box is fixed with 2 screws. The front is slightly shorter the rear screw is the lä Now the shorter screw is released and the longer one is removed only. Now you have the possibility to move the vacuum box around the axis of the longer screw and to move the mechanism into the desired position and thereby change the end stop. After correct alignment you tighten the longer screw again. The shorter one no longer fits into the guide, which is no longer bad, because the longer one is fixed enough. I have not yet tested these approaches. But I wanted to give you the opportunity to try them out and possibly solve the problem yourself! Good luck! All information without guarantee!

  • Omega B 2.5 TD power drop

Drive an Omega B 2.5 TD Bj 97 and have recently the problem that a power drop can be noticed when driving on BAB on a slight climb 160km, 3200 rpm. Does no more gas take and slow down. If I go off the gas and continue with 100-120, then it seems ok. Does anyone have experience with it? Maybe fuel filters dirty or injection nozzles defective??

  • Opel Corsa SUV – First information at AMS!

Hello the following news just read… Opel wants to produce an SUV version of the Corsa according to a media report. In an interview with the magazine “auto motor und sport” Opel CEO Hans Demant said that the company will “definitely bring a variant into the market”. A decision on production should be made by next year at the latest. Furthermore, Demant said that the manufacturer is thinking about a new entry-level model, for which low-cost motorcycle components are to be used. According to Demant, such a city car is a project for the coming decade. The entry price could be at 8000 euros. According to “auto motor und sport” a corresponding vehicle should be developed in a cooperation. Because conventional development approaches are not very effective, according to Demant, the chances of motorcycle-like drivetrains in conjunction with a rear engine are explored. he from scooters or motorcycles.
