  • Comparison 1.4 Turbo to 1.4 Turbo DI

Moin! We are looking for a reasonable time car for my wife, which has automatic, LED light and Navi. Here we have come across the Opel Mokka X, which is now also to become it. Two cars are now available – a 1.4 turbo with automatic but without four wheel and a 1.4 turbo DI with automatic and four wheel. Price is just 1500 € between the cars, which is to be neglected. Which of the two engines is the better one? The older, but certainly also more The northern German lowlands will be used for the 1.4 turbo or the 1.4 turbo DI. Mountains will appear as a dike at most and the daily distance will be 2 x 30km. At the moment, the tendency to the simple 1.4 turbo is not as important as I see the additional 12 hp and the four-wheel drive.

  • Mokka 1.7 Start/Stop System

Hello, have a brand new Opel Mokka with Start/Stop system. With us are 2 to 5°C outside temperatures and I drove a longer distance (60km): the Start/Stop system did not work. I talked to the service dealer of Opel and got the answer that at these outside temperatures (this is near freezing point) the system would not work. Does this correspond to the experiences of the Mokka drivers? From which outside temperatures would a defect be detectable then???? Bin et what unsettled. thank you and greetings Huby

  • Experiences Mokka X ?

Hi, my wife needs a new car and after some searching we have now landed at Opel Mokka and Suzuki Vitara. What we want are petrol engine, converter automatic, max. 4.5m long of the sled. This double coupler is not mine and with the diesel you don’t know what the authorities still think in order to bury the once so praised combustion principle. Would be nice if someone could write down his experiences. fen, mostly suburban operation and short distances, rarer but also sometimes for a longer tour. It should be a gasoline with automatic, sliding roof, if that is available, would be nice too. Greeting Willy

  • New Equinox (relabeled) also coming as OPEL SUV ?

Looking at the title, certain aspects might be relevant: – The presence of the (already known offiz. new*) Equinox is in Europe, as disguised Erlkönig with GG-…mark, yes, even before the parent plant of Opel nevertheless striking** – Its size and technology: Above the Grandland X (~ 4.65 instead of 4.45m) + four wheel. And thus to position as SUV instead of CUV over it. (but probably not thought of/possible as a 7-seater) – Anything else for it…? ______________________________ But for at least 2017 I don’t see “no country” any perspective, the current “7-in-17”-parole from Opel lists all kinds of, very concrete, but nothing of it. – The main plant starts the Insignia first. In all variance. Everything else there, is intended for said “end of the decade”/2019. – A GM/Chevi “only relabel”, insufficient/self-made, see similar with Antara (Sintra, GT,…), can/should that work, be dared again ?! – That as the second flagship next to the Insignia to b *) https://www.netcarshow.com/chevrolet/2018-equinox/ **) I have already met live.

  • Engine control lights

Antara Bj, 07 Diesel / 2, 0 cdti / 150 ps circuit , approx. 61000 km the following problem ! My engine control search always goes on, so 4 to 5 times a year. Sometimes after 2 to 3 weeks, then again after a few months. This is already going on for some years. Drive then to my Opel workshop to make errors read out. It always comes out the same thing: intake temperature with exhaust temperature not compatible or not plausible. Error can then simply be deleted in the readout again w It was exchanged during this time: air mass meters, lambda probe, any other fuehler and probes. Temperature was also measured in the exhaust. Workshop doesn’t know any more. Car continues normally when the light goes on. Also, the lamp only goes on when you start a car, not while driving. If someone has a solution, would be very grateful.

  • Mokka 1.4 Turbo Manual 6-speed without mountain assistance?

Hello everybody, my wife is interested in the mocha, but due to the consumption without 4×4. Is this with manual 6-speed and front drive really no mountain starter assistance? At the 4×4 the assistant for approach and descent would be enough for us. Assistant with display in the display does not have to be. Greetings Astra-F-2.0-16V

  • Track rods and carrying joints

Hello, unfortunately, at the HU of my Agila 1.0 Bj 2001 the carrying joint li. v. and the track rod joint right inside was criticized. If I see it correctly the handlebar has to be removed (trag joint individually I did not find), to this before the stabi are dismantled, does not seem so difficult. To the track rod joint inside I would have to say probably the track rod new. Can one give me a few tips on this? Greeting Andreas

  • Mocha too limp!!!

Hello, in the hope that someone from Opel will also read / let me know what to say… I’ve been driving Opel since 2001…B Vectra, C Vectra, Insignia….and I’d like to have switched to an SUV from Opel. Antara…is probably not being built anymore and has unfortunately not been so successful/reliable. And the Mokka….a fine car! I liked it very much. Would have taken two, one for my wife. She also found it very appealing. But even her engines were too sluggish. And with our desired equipment “Automatic gearbox” it was not possible at all. Unless one/woman always kicks the poor mokka right on the Kopp. That should not be. Anyway….right joy did not want to come up with the Mokka. That’s why now it will be a Kuga, 2.0 TDCI 180PS, Powershift. With the production of Fz I don’t know now, but would it really have been so difficult the 160PS CDTI from the Insignia in the Or an equivalent machine? I just wanted to say again… Bye Opel!
