  • Automatic air conditioning Engine residual heat use

    Hello, does someone have a tracer, how the residual heat usage at the climate automatic works? I would be particularly interested in whether the blower only uses the residual heat present in the heat exchanger or whether an electric water pump also promotes the residual heat from the engine, cooler etc to the heat exchanger?     Tomorrow boys! Tomorrow girls! I’ve been thinking a little bit lately about whether it would be possible to install a DVD system in the Facelift-Omi!?! Headrests for the second row are no problem. Only the center console is quite packed. (NCDC2015) And I don’t want to screw on it like that. A system that can be installed in addition to the radio would be the best solution. So you can nicely turn the screen on or off.   • 2 liters 8v + turbo?

    I once asked the friendly Opel dealer if I could get a turbocharger in my 2 liters Vectra with 115 hp! He told me that it would be technically possible but maybe there is a catch! So someone can tell me how to do such an action and which parts and charcoal I need in some way! Thanks already in advance!

  • Valve lid from the accessories or rather original?

    Hello, I suspect that the membrane of the crankcase venting could not be quite in order any more. The original lid is not exactly cheap. Are those from the accessories for example from Febi also ok, or should you rather take the original one?

    Maybe it’s quite practical to start a single thread for the model year changes, so you can find all the changes collected over the years in one place. Since yesterday, the model year 22B is orderable and configurable for the Mokka and Mokka-e. Changes/news for the Mokka: – Heatable leather steering wheel in combination with 1.2 Turbo (130 hp) with 8-stage automatic transmission – Tyre repair kit no longer standard for the basic version – OpelConnect is n No longer available as an option, no longer part of the Active Drive Assist package, no longer as standard in connection with Multimedia Navi or Multimedia Navi Pro, but still as standard for Business Elegance and Ultimate There seem to be no changes or innovations for the Mokka-e.

  • Change rear brakes.

    Hello I would like to change the brake pads and discs at my Opal mokka year 2021. Have done this a few times on various vehicles, but never with electric hand brake. At the front everything is clear to me. But how can I change the rear? Do you need a diagnostic tool or are there other ways to get the brake in service position? Thanks already in advance ??

  • New Car – “Motor Error” – Mild-Hybrid

    Hello dear Commnunity, my car has only 1700 kilometers. BJ 24. A Mokka Edct- so a mild hybrid. Today when boarding, the engine started and it appeared “engine error”, and the gearbox (automatic), you could not change from “P”. I could not completely switch off the car to close the doors by radio key. My question: The battery that is charged by “brake” is the same as that needed for starting the car? Because it is very rarely fully charged. he uses the car for the start the normal “conventional” battery ? Maybe problem with the key ? After about 10 minutes the car went still, and after reopening also the engine started again, however this battery was almost empty according to the digital display. Next possible workshop appointment in 3 months . Maybe someone has a guess Anyway thank you for any answer. Best regards

    Hello, I have a Mokka X EZ 2017 with now 45000km. Last week I broke the balance tank during my holiday. It came out of 2 holes (pinhead size) water and sprayed on the engine. My question: did anyone already have that? Since I was in Austria, no bulwark application could be made. I want to try here tomorrow in Germany to become the Opel dealer and my luck

  • Complete LED – conversion *View*

    Hello@all ! I just can’t let it go, I hardly have a new car again, it starts again – constantly I have to do something about it – remodeling. Now I completely converted the speedometer, onboard computer and the fan displays with climatronics all to LED. Had only bought something there at Ebay but could also put a candle – so much light brought it. So again to Ebay and LED ́s + resistors + etc. bought and made myself to work. T times completely disassembled that I came to the housing and then with a 5mm drill first bring in enough holes at an even distance of approx.1cm. Should then be around 20 holes. Now sand on the LED heads with completely fine sanding paper – until you look slightly milky-so the light is distributed better.Then put LED ́s in the holes and fix with hot glue.Resistances solder-everything cable and test.If everything is funneled, then install everything again. ……….. ……………………………………………………………………….. Well,… should only be a short guide. Anyway, I will have to disassemble the speedometer again, since there are definitely 9 LED ́s too little. Will probably install 20 pieces as well. But for the conversion of ventilation and climatronics I have installed only one LED per display (depending on the display red or blue ) and behind the digital displays the plastic is removed, otherwise is too dark and 2 LED ́s are installed. ————————- Al les built with red and blue LEDs. ————————- What do you think about it?
