  • “cold” automatic transmission Omega B 2.0 16V

    Hello, if I start my Omega which is in the garage after longer service life then the automatic transmission switches up very delayed, that is, the Omega drives very long in the 1st or 2nd gear. If I switch on the winter program, then it switches up. If I have driven so 1-2 km it switches back to normal, so is only when the oil is cold!? Is there possibly too little oil in the gear? Frank

  • Equipment, automatic or manual transmission for the 2.5 DTI?

    It is about a 2002 Caravan Executive with 2.5 DTI engine. Here most models on the market are equipped with automatic transmissions. What experience do you have with this same transmission regarding durability, consumption and response behavior. Or better look for a rare switch? For the different equipment versions, one more question. Does the Executive have the same seats as the design edition? The so-called Executive has these slightly greenish leather seats and a 2-coloured leather steering wheel as well as wooden equipment. I always thought this color variant would only be possible with the design edition? Or better how can you determine if it is actually an executive?

  • Light becomes weaker when approaching

    Hello guys My brother has an Opel Omega 2L 16V Built.96. For a short time the funny thing is going on. Example: the engine is running in the stationary gas and the light is switched on, but as soon as you start the light becomes dark for a fraction of a second. That happens every time when you start the car. The engine and the rest of the car are actually running very well. Has someone ever had such a thing or can give me a tip what that could be ? mfG Armin

    Have you looked around for a Omega and noticed that you’ll get it afterwards.     Hello, I have to reseal the oil cooler in the next time. To do this I need new coolant. But the red dexcool is no longer available. It has been replaced by blue/green.     Hello guys I just broke through the sound barrier !!! I recently brought my C30SE a little to the front, now he has according to Bosch performance test stand 254 horses. Since I was a little curious I drove on the track last night and just made gas. The tacho stopped at 283 km/h (there is still something more horny than speed ??). What kind of feeling I have left everything there just WOW !!!!

    The Peugeot 3008 (technically “equivalent” to the Opel Grandland) has already been compared with the Hyundai Tucson (Vorfacelift). (2.0 Diesel FWD hand switch) The real test consumption of both candidates is quite identical, although the Tucson weighs 35 kg more (a part of it is due to the 10L larger tank of the Tucson) and its front surface is slightly larger.
