Omega Caravan 2.5V6 BJ 5/96 … while braking slightly, vibrations occur on the steering wheel and the vehicle jerks noticeably. I increase the brake pressure lessens the vibrations. If I increase the speed and then brake, the vehicle only jerks! The front brake discs are replaced, the tyre pressure checked, the track rods exchanged. The “friendly” thinks the exchange of the silent bushings would help! Who has gained similar experience or can tell me which e Action can remedy this situation! Miracolix67

Knock on the front suspension
Have an Omega Bj98 (CD Reflection), which is constantly in the front area, I think in the suspension, knocks, when I drive over cobblestones, Gulli lids etc.. I have had the problem for a long time. Now I had the thing laid deeper in a few weeks ago, so have new springs, dampers and also cathedral bearings installed with the hope that the knocking is now gone. Think! The workshops, both Opel and free (have already 4! on top of it) ucht) find no obvious mistake. Does any of you have experiences with this problem?!

Need picture of C20ne cam on gear position !!
Hi all together, the other day a buddy asked me if I could help him since his GSI Kadett didn’t start. Since I’ve already had a lot of experience with remodeling etc. I looked at it all the time. First I noticed that with OT position on the crankshaft I could never get the cam on position. Can turn as often as I wanted…if the crankshaft was on OT, the cam was about 14 o’clock instead of 12 to the notch???!!! I thought that the timing belt might have skipped and re-set the OT. Nock on notch 12 o’clock and the crankshaft notch on the needle that is mounted on the engine block. When we wanted to do a test run, it sounded like the starter was running empty without load. I knew that couldn’t be right away…… I quickly thought of the white marking on the tooth strap… someone had to w now my problem… since I would like to adjust the engine correctly, I have the problem that I can’t rely on the notch of the cam, because this position seems to be wrong. Can someone possibly show me a photo like the nock has to stand so that it is in OT properly? Will then proceed so that I put the crankshaft on position because it was correct and try to find the old position again with the help of a picture. Or does someone have n och another suggestion how I could set this right without respecting the notch of the cam??? Thanks in advance… ;o)

Omega’s swimming!
Hello, I have a big problem with the Omega again. The car “swimms” suddenly on normal, straight track. It feels like I’m driving over a pothole (but it happens on perfect asphalt, I’ve taken care of it). I lose control for a short time, the car pulls off briefly to the right and back again. Aren’t the wheels screwed? Do the tires eggs? Or is it on the rear wheel drive? Felix 🙂

Power stage and radio/CD changer installation Omega B Caravan
The original radio (CAR 300) and the original speakers are garbage, deshalp I want to transplant my proven BluePoint RCM104 Paris. he has a changer with him, besides I already have a Crunch V3004 4 channel endstage, Hertz HSK165 2weg Speaker (16cm+Horn) for front doors and Boston FX5 (13cm Koax) for the rear doors. The radio is already exchanged, unfortunately the original cable tree is unzure My real problem is another… Originally I wanted to place the ENd stage under the driver’s seat and the changer under the passenger’s seat, but today I thought that there wasn’t really much room there. From the seats there is a joint down, the seat height adjustment should be. I am now looking for a convenient place, or an idea, how I put the stuff under the seat. definitely wants to be able to continue to use the loading area fully and without having to put anything down the seats can fold over. thank you for ideas. sers

Should I buy an Omega B 2.5 V6?
Hello people I hope you have a few tips for me. I’m about to buy an Omega B 2.5 V6. I’ve read a few opinions and experiences about this car here. I’m a little unwise now if I should buy the car, because it tends to have some problems. e.g. with the cooling water temperature. the omega is a 94` bj., has run 91,000 km, climate, eFH, eSp, el. glass roof, el. heckrollo, xenon etc. think that this is the usual equipment. and me according to my opinion the price of 4,500 € is ok, or what do you think? thank you already … chillah

Omega underwater!
I drive an Omega B and have a few days fogging my windows more and more since my disc blower has inexplicably opposed the mind. I thought nothing more about it during the constant rain. Only today I noticed with horror that the entire footroom is under water! All the fusmats + the floor are sunken like a sponge and I don’t know where the water comes from! (window excluded! Garage car) + Underfloor perfectly in shot. Where can this be done? Problem lies!? thanked,- mfg Nils

Gasoline pressure at C20NE
Hi @ all Would you like to know if the petrol pump can adjust, that the petrol pressure is not the right one anymore. Can you measure it anyhow in a certain time how many liters? An engine does not start or almost start and drains again and again. Have everything checked … spark wet candles… With startpilot it runs once and goes out again. Funke has been checked as said… Error codes are also not available so that it might be the throttle valve. And still what ..if the fuse was defective, then nothing would be possible, wouldn’t it? The petrol relay also clacks at ignition so that I ruled it out.

Hello people, today on a nice sunny day I lead with my B Corsa motor C20XE 2liter 16V 150PS (well there are already more 😉 ) such a who around. Suddenly something clapped in the engine room (No MKL) blirb immediately stand to see what it can be, unfortunately not found. Now I let him tow it in my hall to look for the error there. It clatters loudly (tack tack tack ……) sounds like it’s close to the throttle flap or below he could also be the hydros or anything else. But sounds rather like it’s coming from the suction manifold, is there anything there ????? Conversion X20DTH from Euro2 to D3
Since I am now intensively concerned with the whole topic of RPF, but unfortunately only have the X20DTH as Euro2 engine, I am interested in how I get the engine on D3. I have read in the TIS that this conversion is possible. Definitely I know that the metal AGR has to be replaced for a plastic one, because the plastic AGR has a faster response time. What else needs to be changed to get the engine on D3 and thus on a green badge?
